66 Best Plumber in Chicago for SameDay Service

ANM Sewer & Water is a sewer, water, and plumbing contractor based on North Avenue in Chicago's Austin neighborhood, with a family-run operation covering emergency plumbing, sewer camera inspection, water line installation, water heater repair, and water damage restoration. The crews also handle heating equipment — reviewers describe furnace blower motor replacements and full furnace-plus-AC installs — making it broader than a pure drain shop. Review themes emphasize holiday and after-hours reliability: one landlord describes ANM reaching a tenant within two hours on a holiday weekend for a failed furnace blower, completing the replacement the next morning, and following up on Easter Sunday to confirm it was running. Alex's crew drew praise for a 7 PM emergency plumbing response with clear communication throughout. Reviewers repeatedly note quoted prices honored even when extra work was needed, and same-day evaluations for major leaks. This is a fit for West Side homeowners and landlords who need a contractor that actually answers on holidays and evenings. Property managers get a crew comfortable coordinating directly with tenants. Anyone facing a sewer or water line job gets camera inspection diagnostics plus the water damage restoration capability if the failure has already spread.

Deljo Heating, Cooling & Plumbing is an HVAC-led home services company based on Bryn Mawr Avenue in Chicago's North Park, with plumbing as a growing second trade. The heating and cooling work covers furnace and air conditioner repair, installation, and maintenance, humidifiers and indoor air quality systems, and commercial rooftop units — handled by NATE-certified technicians. Plumbing services include inspections, water heater work, and fixture repairs such as leaking bathtub valves. The company runs thousands of active maintenance agreements and serves Chicago plus suburbs including Naperville. Review themes center on clear explanations and clean work: technicians Drew, Matt, Jesus, Jordan, and Ernesto are named for thorough maintenance findings, patient answers for first-time homeowners, and leaving no mess. One reviewer credits Matt with servicing both a home and a rental property while suggesting efficiency improvements. A counterpoint worth knowing: one customer felt the charge for a simple foil-tape ERV fix was disproportionate to the work, a reminder to confirm pricing on minor repairs. This is a fit for homeowners who want heating, cooling, and plumbing under one roof with structured maintenance plans. Small businesses get technicians experienced with commercial equipment. First-time homeowners who want systems explained rather than just fixed get the communication style reviewers consistently praise.

4S PLUMBING COMPANIES, INC is a plumbing contractor based on Irving Park Road in Chicago's Dunning neighborhood, serving Chicago plus nearby suburbs including Norridge and Lincolnwood. Services cover shower and bathtub repair, flood control systems, sewer and drain work, frozen pipe response, and 24-hour emergency plumbing. Spanish-speaking service is available. Review themes center on owner Bill and his crew's straightforwardness: customers describe Bill resolving quote confusion to their satisfaction over the phone, and technician Ahmad fixing in under 30 minutes a problem a customer's handy father had struggled with for weeks. Reviewers praise honest assessments — distinguishing drains that need only minor cleaning from those requiring full rodding — plus discounts on pricier services and clear step-by-step explanations. One customer notes smooth coordination of a city inspection appointment. This is a fit for Northwest Side homeowners who want an owner-involved shop where the person quoting is reachable when something is unclear. The frozen-pipe and flood control coverage suits Chicago winters and spring thaws. Anyone wary of upselling gets the pattern reviewers highlight most: technicians who say when the cheaper fix is enough.

HandyBandi is a multi-trade home services company based in Chicago's Edgewater neighborhood, built for customers who want one crew for the whole punch list instead of a separate specialist per task. Its handyman work covers furniture assembly, TV mounting, door and window repairs, shelf and picture hanging, caulking and drywall patching with touch-up paint, and small fixes like running toilets, loose railings, and sticking cabinet doors. The company also staffs plumbing, painting, and water damage restoration crews for bigger jobs. The service model is built around flat-rate estimates given before work starts, so the quoted price matches the final invoice, with parts, hardware, and cleanup included. Same-day and next-day slots are open across the city on most weekdays, and every repair carries a workmanship warranty rather than just the large projects. Crews are described as familiar with Chicago's housing stock — two-flats, bungalows, greystones, and vintage condo buildings — and most multi-task visits are finished in a single afternoon. This is a fit for busy homeowners and renters sitting on a mixed list of small repairs that no single specialist would take on economically. Landlords prepping units between tenants get a one-visit option for the cosmetic-plus-minor-plumbing combination. Anyone who dreads open-ended hourly billing gets the flat-rate estimate structure, with the warranty backing the smaller jobs too.

Four Seasons Heating, Air Conditioning, Plumbing, Sewer & Electric is a full home-comfort contractor based on 73rd Street in Chicago, covering heating, air conditioning, plumbing, sewer, and electrical work with round-the-clock availability. Services span maintenance, repair, and installation across all five trades, plus generators and thermostats. The company serves Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana, positioning itself as a single provider for everything that heats, cools, powers, or plumbs a home. Review themes emphasize process discipline: customers describe speaking to a live person, receiving follow-up calls to confirm the job was done well, and technicians who explain each step. Named technicians include Byron, Miguel, Keith Williams, Adan Ruiz, and Edgar — one reviewer credits Keith with properly sizing a boiler through load calculations where competitors oversized the recommendation, and the install team flushed the system, verified pressures, and tested every baseboard before leaving. Loyal customers report using the company for over a decade. Some reviewers note installation delays and thermostat issues as counterpoints. This is a fit for homeowners who want one accountable company for all major home systems rather than juggling separate contractors. The consultation-style quoting suits anyone replacing a furnace or boiler who wants the engineering explained. Customers who value structured follow-up — live dispatch, supervisor check-ins, quality audits — get that built into the service model.

Bubba, Wayne & Tim Sewer Service Inc is a sewer and drainage specialist based on Irving Park Road in Chicago, focused on the underground systems other plumbers hand off: sewer line installation and replacement, sewer cleaning and rodding, clog removal, flood control systems, and pump installation. The crews also handle catch basin mortar repair and use camera inspections to diagnose root intrusion and collapses in old clay pipes. The company serves Chicago and surrounding Cook County suburbs. Review themes emphasize honesty and fair pricing sustained over decades — one customer reports using the company for 30 years, another for annual root cleanings under a parkway tree for over ten years, with a senior discount applied. Tim provides the initial quotes, and office manager Janice is named for guiding customers through city bureaucracy, including reporting a collapsed curb-line sewer to the city and refunding a deposit immediately when a job was cancelled over a breached water line. Reviewers describe crews that explain findings patiently and charge less than competitors who pad bills. This is a fit for Chicago homeowners with aging clay sewer lines, recurring root blockages, or basements prone to flooding — the flood control valve systems are a core offering. Customers who want scheduled preventive cleanings rather than emergency calls get a shop built around that routine. Anyone facing a sewer replacement can expect a straightforward quote process and crews experienced with the city's permit and inspection maze.

J. Blanton Plumbing, Sewer & Drain is a family-run, full-service plumbing company on Chicago's North Side, offering round-the-clock emergency repairs across the North and Northwest Sides and into suburbs including Riverside, Norridge, and McHenry County. Services span drain cleaning and hydro jetting, sewer camera inspection, pipe repair and replacement, water heater installation, toilet and faucet repair and installation, leak detection, and water quality and filtration work. The company also runs the No Drip Club, a maintenance membership, and provides free estimates including online estimates. Reviewers name technicians Kyle Johnson, Eladio, George Cameron, and Mike for thorough, communicative work — George is cited for camera-inspecting a sewer line, finding it sound, and honestly recommending a high-pressure toilet instead of selling repairs. Kyle drew praise for verifying a cured-in-place liner's integrity before hydro jetting a blockage. Themes include quick response, no-upsell advice, and clear explanations from both office staff and technicians. A few reviewers note frustration with dispatch scheduling, a counterpoint worth knowing when booking. This is a fit for North Side homeowners who want camera-verified diagnoses before committing to sewer or drain work. The maintenance membership suits customers who prefer scheduled checkups over surprise failures. Emergency callers get genuine round-the-clock positioning, though confirming arrival windows at booking is wise given the mixed dispatch feedback.

VanDerBosch Plumbing Inc. is a plumbing contractor based on Greenview Avenue in Chicago's Rogers Park, with a second operation in Roselle, covering drain clearing, pipe and toilet repair, water heater repair and replacement including tankless maintenance, steam boilers, sewer line and drain work, and sump pump repair and replacement. The company specializes in trenchless water and sewer services, video camera sewer inspection and analysis, gas leak detection, water filtration installation, whole-house repiping, and indoor and outdoor radiant heat installations. Review themes center on transparent, upfront pricing — one customer contrasts the clear quote with the open-ended hourly billing common in the trade. Plumber George is named repeatedly for knowledgeable, efficient work and spotless job sites; coordinator Monica for sharp scheduling; and owner Jordan for spending twenty minutes on the phone educating a caller about options and honest costs. Reviewers describe accurate arrival windows with text reminders, next-day service even during a deep freeze, and technicians who fix small extras unprompted, like a cracked P-trap spotted mid-job. This is a fit for homeowners who want trenchless sewer or water line replacement without a torn-up yard, and for anyone who values flat, explained pricing before work begins. The radiant heat and boiler expertise suits Chicago's older housing stock with hydronic systems. Rogers Park and North Side residents get a shop whose reviewers consistently describe careful, communicative technicians.

Accurate Plumbing & Heating Co is a plumbing, heating, and cooling contractor based on Belmont Avenue in Chicago, covering residential, commercial, and industrial work. Plumbing services include drain and pipe repair, sewer line cleaning and installation with video camera inspection, sump pump installation and repair, flood control systems, water heater repair, frozen pipe thawing, fixture installation, and correction of plumbing code violations. The heating and cooling side spans warm-air furnaces, hot water heat, heat pumps, air conditioning installation and service, and duct installation and repair. The company also takes on bathroom and kitchen remodeling, plumbing design and whole-system repiping, and shower and tub installation. Reviewers describe quick responses, thorough explanations of the problem before work begins, and jobs completed on schedule — from backed-up drains to water heater installations and new bathroom additions. Emergency service is offered around the clock. This is a fit for Chicago property owners who want one contractor for both plumbing and HVAC rather than coordinating separate trades. The flood control and sump pump expertise suits basements in flood-prone blocks, while the remodeling capability fits homeowners planning bathroom or kitchen upgrades. Commercial and industrial customers get a shop whose service list explicitly covers their buildings too.

Johns Plumbing Inc is a plumbing contractor based on Cicero Avenue in Chicago, serving residential, commercial, and industrial customers across the Chicago area. Its listed services include plumbing repair, pipe installation and replacement, bathroom plumbing, plumbing inspection, sump pump and interior foundation drain installation, and faucets, fixtures, and pipes repair or replacement. Permit records show a heavy footprint in commercial renovation plumbing alongside residential work. The review record is mixed. Positive accounts include a technician named Adam praised for professional, courteous service; an emergency sewer line job at 6 a.m. where the technician persisted through repeated clearing attempts; and a decade-long customer who keeps recommending the company. On the other side, one customer disputed being billed for hours beyond the time a plumber was on site, and another called the company unreliable. Scheduling through email with a service coordinator gets credit for clarity. This is a fit for Chicago homeowners and building managers who need a larger contractor with both residential and commercial capacity. The early-morning emergency response record suits urgent sewer and drain situations. Given the billing disputes in the record, customers should confirm how time is charged before work begins.
