8 Best HVAC contractor in Chicago for SameDay Service

Deljo Heating, Cooling & Plumbing is an HVAC-led home services company based on Bryn Mawr Avenue in Chicago's North Park, with plumbing as a growing second trade. The heating and cooling work covers furnace and air conditioner repair, installation, and maintenance, humidifiers and indoor air quality systems, and commercial rooftop units — handled by NATE-certified technicians. Plumbing services include inspections, water heater work, and fixture repairs such as leaking bathtub valves. The company runs thousands of active maintenance agreements and serves Chicago plus suburbs including Naperville. Review themes center on clear explanations and clean work: technicians Drew, Matt, Jesus, Jordan, and Ernesto are named for thorough maintenance findings, patient answers for first-time homeowners, and leaving no mess. One reviewer credits Matt with servicing both a home and a rental property while suggesting efficiency improvements. A counterpoint worth knowing: one customer felt the charge for a simple foil-tape ERV fix was disproportionate to the work, a reminder to confirm pricing on minor repairs. This is a fit for homeowners who want heating, cooling, and plumbing under one roof with structured maintenance plans. Small businesses get technicians experienced with commercial equipment. First-time homeowners who want systems explained rather than just fixed get the communication style reviewers consistently praise.

Four Seasons Heating, Air Conditioning, Plumbing, Sewer & Electric is a full home-comfort contractor based on 73rd Street in Chicago, covering heating, air conditioning, plumbing, sewer, and electrical work with round-the-clock availability. Services span maintenance, repair, and installation across all five trades, plus generators and thermostats. The company serves Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana, positioning itself as a single provider for everything that heats, cools, powers, or plumbs a home. Review themes emphasize process discipline: customers describe speaking to a live person, receiving follow-up calls to confirm the job was done well, and technicians who explain each step. Named technicians include Byron, Miguel, Keith Williams, Adan Ruiz, and Edgar — one reviewer credits Keith with properly sizing a boiler through load calculations where competitors oversized the recommendation, and the install team flushed the system, verified pressures, and tested every baseboard before leaving. Loyal customers report using the company for over a decade. Some reviewers note installation delays and thermostat issues as counterpoints. This is a fit for homeowners who want one accountable company for all major home systems rather than juggling separate contractors. The consultation-style quoting suits anyone replacing a furnace or boiler who wants the engineering explained. Customers who value structured follow-up — live dispatch, supervisor check-ins, quality audits — get that built into the service model.

Accurate Plumbing & Heating Co is a plumbing, heating, and cooling contractor based on Belmont Avenue in Chicago, covering residential, commercial, and industrial work. Plumbing services include drain and pipe repair, sewer line cleaning and installation with video camera inspection, sump pump installation and repair, flood control systems, water heater repair, frozen pipe thawing, fixture installation, and correction of plumbing code violations. The heating and cooling side spans warm-air furnaces, hot water heat, heat pumps, air conditioning installation and service, and duct installation and repair. The company also takes on bathroom and kitchen remodeling, plumbing design and whole-system repiping, and shower and tub installation. Reviewers describe quick responses, thorough explanations of the problem before work begins, and jobs completed on schedule — from backed-up drains to water heater installations and new bathroom additions. Emergency service is offered around the clock. This is a fit for Chicago property owners who want one contractor for both plumbing and HVAC rather than coordinating separate trades. The flood control and sump pump expertise suits basements in flood-prone blocks, while the remodeling capability fits homeowners planning bathroom or kitchen upgrades. Commercial and industrial customers get a shop whose service list explicitly covers their buildings too.

Kavana's Plumbing and Heating is a plumbing and heating company based on Corcoran Place in Chicago, serving the city with 24/7 availability. Its services span both trades: furnace and central air repair, steam and hot water boiler repair, water heater repair and installation, gas piping, drain clog clearing and rodding, humidifier service, and planned maintenance and inspections. The owner, Henry, is the name across reviews: one customer was told a stripped spigot needed only a handle rather than a whole shutoff valve, and was advised to fix the toilet themselves because it was cheaper — with Henry buying the parts at the store and finishing the spigot replacement after dark. Another had gas leaks in a newly purchased home fixed the same visit. A homeowner whose basement drain was flooding after hours found Henry the only plumber willing to come out. Honest talk-down of unnecessary work and after-hours responsiveness are the dominant themes. This is a fit for west-side Chicago homeowners who want one company for both plumbing and heating, particularly boiler systems. The honesty pattern suits anyone wary of upselling — the review record shows a willingness to recommend the cheaper path. For after-hours emergencies, the late-night response reports stand out.

Oasis Plumbing, Heating & Cooling is a combined plumbing and HVAC company based on Western Avenue in Chicago's West Ridge neighborhood, with a second location in Elmhurst serving the northern suburbs. Its services span plumbing and water heater work, furnace and heater repair and replacement, air conditioning repair and replacement, and maintenance plans. Reviewers note the company uses Manual J load calculations when sizing replacement systems, a more precise method than matching the old unit's size. Technicians named Chris, Serge, Harvey, and Fernando appear in reviews: Chris is credited with a well-executed hot water tank installation and deep plumbing knowledge, while Serge and Harvey handled a furnace and AC replacement with clear estimates and strong communication. Several reviewers highlight no-upsell pressure — repairs fixed at reasonable prices rather than fabricated replacements. One reviewer reports a poorly handled appointment for a condo hot water pressure issue. This is a fit for north-side Chicago and northern suburban homeowners who want one company for both plumbing and HVAC. The maintenance plans suit anyone wanting seasonal tune-ups with repair discounts and priority scheduling. For full system replacements, the load-calculation approach appeals to homeowners who want equipment sized to the home rather than the guess.

Fly Plumbing & HVAC is a full-service plumbing and HVAC company based in Wheeling with additional offices in Skokie and Chicago's Ravenswood neighborhood. On the plumbing side it handles drain cleaning, sewer rodding and repair, sump pump and ejector pump replacement, water heater replacement, and pipe installation. The HVAC arm covers central air conditioning installation, heating equipment, and gas and steam boiler repair — making it a two-trade shop for homes that need both systems serviced. Reviewers describe same-day turnarounds: a dead water heater fixed the same day it was called in, a storm-failed sump pump replaced with maintenance instructions the same afternoon. Adrian and Tony are named for professional, knowledgeable service — Adrian recommended the cheaper of two repair options and was proven right. The company states its technicians solve problems on the first trip and explain everything before leaving. This is a fit for suburban homeowners who want one company for plumbing and HVAC rather than coordinating two contractors — boiler trouble in winter, AC issues in summer, and drain problems year-round. The 24/7 emergency positioning covers the middle-of-the-night failures. For Wheeling, Skokie, Lake Forest, and the north suburbs, the two-trade coverage is the practical advantage.

Direct Improvements is a Chicago home-services company based in the Loop, built around heating and cooling with plumbing and appliance repair under the same roof. Its technicians handle furnace and air conditioner repair and installation, water heater service, plumbing repairs, appliance repairs, and air duct cleaning. The company also works directly with home warranty providers, navigating claims paperwork that other contractors leave unfinished. Review themes center on patient, detailed explanations — technicians Jorge, Aaron, TJ, Matt, Mike, and Omar are named across reviews for walking customers through diagnostics and options. One reviewer credits the company with proposing a lower-cost repair after a competitor quoted a full replacement; another describes the team resolving a stalled home-warranty claim and installing a new unit quickly. Customers include homeowners, landlords, investors, and condo associations, with several reviewers reporting years of repeat use. This is a fit for anyone whose repair is tangled in a home warranty claim — reviewers single that out as the company's standout strength. Landlords and property investors get a single point of contact for HVAC, plumbing, and appliances across units. Homeowners facing a big-ticket replacement quote may find value in the company's repair-first approach before committing to new equipment.

Burris & Sons Heating, Cooling & Plumbing is a home systems contractor based on Colfax Avenue in Chicago's South Shore neighborhood, serving residents and commercial customers across Chicago and surrounding areas. The company provides sales, service, and installation across heating, cooling, and plumbing: furnace repair and cleaning, frozen or cracked pipe work, jet pressure sewer cleaning, and bathroom and kitchen repairs. It operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Mr. Burris himself is the recurring figure in reviews: one customer with a leaking kitchen faucet got phone-guided remedies when he could not arrive for days, another had a water heater fixed quickly at a fair price, and a third called about a carbon monoxide alarm and was talked through the possible triggers — ending with just a faulty detector to replace rather than hundreds in unnecessary service. A family with a newborn and no AC was walked through a fix over the phone step by step after two other companies had failed them. Honesty and willingness to help over the phone are the dominant themes. This is a fit for South Side Chicago homeowners who want a dependable, owner-involved contractor for both plumbing and HVAC. The phone-troubleshooting pattern suits anyone facing a small problem who wants guidance before committing to a service call. For emergencies in heat waves or cold snaps, the 24/7 availability and same-day response record matter.
