41 Best Plumber in Bakersfield for SameDay Service

Monarch Home Services - Bakersfield is a multi-trade home services contractor based on Espee Street, covering heating, air conditioning, plumbing, air duct cleaning, and electrical installation. Its HVAC side includes AC installation and repair, seasonal tune-ups, and furnace service; its plumbing side centers on water heater replacement and repair. The company presents itself around indoor comfort: technicians who diagnose comfort problems and propose repairs or replacements. Reviews paint a two-sided picture. On the technician side, Jesse is praised for transparency and for demonstrating each step of the work, while Jonathan, David G., and Don are described as knowledgeable, friendly AC technicians who explain things in plain terms. On the sales side, reviewers describe upsell pressure: one customer's AC tune-up turned into a push for a full system replacement from an 'air flow expert,' with basic cleaning left unfinished; another review describes a four-year-old system installation that later led to disputes over undersized wiring and expensive duct replacement quotes. This is a fit for homeowners shopping for HVAC maintenance or replacement who want options explained and are comfortable evaluating upgrade pitches. For water heater replacements and comfort-system diagnostics, the review record supports the technical side of the operation. For customers sensitive to sales pressure, the reviews suggest asking for written scopes before approving extra work.

Liberty Plumbing And Septic Service is a Bakersfield plumbing and septic contractor based on Mary Ellen Street, covering septic pumping, septic system repairs, main line repairs, and line replacements. It also rents portable toilets for events, construction sites, and short-term needs. Its service area includes Bakersfield plus Arvin, Delano, Taft, and surrounding counties, and it lists 24-hour availability for urgent calls. Reviews repeatedly name Alex, the owner, for fast response: one customer reached out the same morning after another company missed multiple appointments and had a crew on site that day; another describes a weekend main line problem that no one else could fix, resolved with straightforward explanations and clear options. Emilio is praised as a hard worker on a line replacement job. Review themes include affordable septic pumping quotes, tidy and efficient work, and upfront communication about what to expect. This is a fit for homeowners with septic tanks who need pumping or repairs without a long wait. For weekend and emergency plumbing or septic problems, the review record shows same-day response. For events and construction projects needing portable restrooms, the rental offering adds a second service line from the same contractor.

All Heart Heating, Cooling & Plumbing is a Bakersfield contractor covering heating, air conditioning, and plumbing from its Alken Street location. Its HVAC side includes air conditioner installation, furnace and heater service, seasonal maintenance visits, and indoor comfort consultations. Its plumbing side shows up in reviews through hot-water service calls, and its weekday scheduling positions it for same-day service. Reviews name several technicians and describe how they work: Matt spent hours at a customer's home explaining what an air conditioning installation would require and offered portable chillers while the customer waited for the install; Hermes is praised for thorough inspections that end only when the customer is satisfied; Elvis is described as friendly and easy to work with; Fouad Markis is credited with years of servicing one customer's system. Review themes include careful explanations, plain-language answers to technical questions, and prompt arrivals. This is a fit for homeowners comparing HVAC contractors who want the options and costs explained before committing to an install. For households considering adding air conditioning or replacing an aging furnace, the consultative review record is the strongest signal. For customers with water-heating or plumbing needs, the company offers one point of contact for both trades.

All Pro Plumbing Heating & Air is a Bakersfield contractor covering both plumbing and HVAC work from its South San Lauren location, with 24/7 emergency positioning. Its plumbing services include emergency plumbing, burst and leaking pipe repair, drain cleaning, sewer line repair and replacement, leak detection, slab leak repair, whole-house repiping, and gas line installation and leak repair. It also installs and repairs water heaters, garbage disposals, sump pumps, toilets, faucets, and water softener and filtration systems. The HVAC side covers furnace repair, installation, and replacement, heat pump installation and repair, air conditioning repair and replacement, and ductless mini-split systems. That dual-trade coverage means a single contractor can handle both a failed water heater and a failing air conditioner — a practical pairing in the San Joaquin Valley, where both systems see heavy seasonal use. This is a fit for Bakersfield homeowners who want one company for both trades, especially during breakdowns when scheduling two contractors costs time. The 24/7 emergency positioning makes it relevant for burst pipes, sewer backups, and HVAC failures that cannot wait for business hours. For households considering system replacements, the breadth of installation services supports whole-home upgrades in a single engagement.

Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup is the Bakersfield location of the national Roto-Rooter brand, operating from Workman Street and offering residential and commercial plumbing, drain service, and water cleanup and restoration. Its service list includes faucet and sink repairs, toilet repair and replacement, water heater repair and replacement, complete sewer cleaning, repair, and replacement, hydro-jetting, leak repairs, water damage cleanup, trenchless sewer repair, pipe bursting and relining, video camera pipe inspections, backflow certification, garbage disposals, and sump pumps. Emergency service is positioned as its specialty, with 24-hour availability. Review themes emphasize fast response times and emergency use: customers call when drains back up or water damage strikes and describe technicians arriving quickly. Reviewers describe technicians explaining problems clearly so customers understand the work before it starts. One detailed review on a national consumer review site describes a sewer-line job that led to a pricing dispute and a post-job leak, showing that complex sewer work can still go wrong — the company's satisfaction team responded to the complaint publicly. This is a fit for homeowners and businesses facing urgent drain or sewer problems who need a large operation with broad capability, from camera inspections to trenchless replacement. For water damage situations, the combined plumbing and cleanup offering covers both the source and the mess. For routine fixtures and water heaters, it is one more full-service option among Bakersfield shops.

America's Best Plumbing is a Bakersfield plumbing company based on Cardigan Avenue on the northwest side of the city. Its listed services cover plumbing repairs, water heater work, drain cleaning, sewer camera inspections, leak detection, water pressure issues, and whole-home repiping using both trenching and trenchless methods. Review records also show septic system installations and cleanouts, sewer line replacement, gas line work, and toilet and garbage disposal installs. The company advertises 24/7 emergency service every day of the year and serves the Bakersfield metro area. Review themes center on quick, reasonably priced fixes: a kitchen plumbing issue resolved in 30 minutes at less than a competitor's quote, backed-up pipes cleared by friendly technicians, and a ceiling leak repaired quickly over a weekend. Technicians named across reviews include Russell, Phillip, and Chad, described as professional and knowledgeable. The owner is praised in reviews for honesty and efficiency, including handling minor issues without charge. One reviewer noted the crew hand-digging trenches in difficult spots during summer heat. This is a fit for Bakersfield homeowners dealing with urgent leaks, backed-up lines, or failing water heaters who want same-day or weekend response with upfront pricing. The repiping and sewer replacement work makes it relevant for older homes with deteriorating underground lines. It may also suit property owners handling plumbing across rental units who need a company that takes both repairs and septic work.

Stan's Discount Rooter & Plumbing is a Bakersfield plumbing and rooter company based on Buck Owens Boulevard, operating around the clock every day. Its listed offerings include video pipe inspection, hydro jetting, sewer repair including trenchless replacement, whole-home repiping with PEX, water heater installation, and drain cleaning. The company's positioning is budget-focused: it markets discounted pricing, old-fashioned honest values, and modern equipment, serving both residential customers and larger accounts with preventive maintenance as well as emergency work. Review themes center on value and responsiveness: customers describe long-standing relationships, with one reporting using the company for 30 years, plus quick emergency responses such as a broken pipe repaired within the hour and reasonably priced after-hours help. Technician Christian is named for efficient PEX re-piping work with clear communication, and Francisco for a fast broken-pipe repair. Several reviewers say they have never been upcharged and call prices fair. The balanced note: at least one reviewer had a bad experience that required two other plumbers to fix. This is a fit for budget-conscious Bakersfield homeowners comparing quotes on drain cleaning, sewer repair, or repiping who want an established local company with discount positioning. The 24/7 hours and preventive maintenance line make it relevant for emergencies and for owners who want periodic drain care. Customers weighing value may want a written quote first, given that reviews are positive overall but mixed on some jobs.

The Plumbing Doc is a plumbing contractor in Bakersfield specializing in leak detection and trenchless line replacement, with listed offerings including hydro jetting, video camera inspection, slab leak detection, pipe freezing, horizontal boring, and odor location and abatement. It handles residential and commercial service and repair across Bakersfield and nearby Kern County communities such as Lamont, Delano, and Shafter. The company positions itself around advanced diagnostics — thermal imaging, listening equipment, and pressure testing — used to pinpoint leaks before cutting into walls. Its review record is mixed, and that is worth knowing directly. Satisfied customers describe same-day water line and water heater calls, including holiday response without weekend surcharges, and single out a technician named Isaac for fast, professional work. Other reviewers report rushed jobs, incomplete fixes, sluggish follow-up, and pricing they considered excessive for the result, and they say they would not hire the company again. Around-the-clock emergency availability appears as a consistent feature in both the positive and negative accounts. This is a fit for Bakersfield homeowners and property managers who want a diagnosis-first approach to hidden leaks or line failures and who plan to get an itemized estimate before committing. The trenchless and hydro jetting capability makes it relevant for sewer and drain work that might otherwise require excavation. Because reviewer experiences vary sharply, it suits buyers who will weigh the proposed scope against other quotes.

Gundlach's is a Bakersfield home-services company at 4415 Foster Avenue that pairs plumbing work with air conditioning and heating services, making it primarily an HVAC contractor that also runs a plumbing operation. Its listed offerings include plumbing services, whole-home performance assessments, air conditioning installation and repair, heating services, and combined commercial HVAC and plumbing work. On the plumbing side the company handles repiping, water filtration, water heater replacement, and general plumbing repair. Review themes lean heavily on the HVAC side: customers describe full system replacements with ductwork modifications, airflow fixes in older homes, and technicians who explain the work step by step. Named technicians include Thomas Cruz, Brent, Adrian, Joshua, Steven, and Robert, with praise for thoroughness, courteous conduct, and follow-up visits to resolve lingering airflow problems. The review record also carries honest balance — some customers questioned pricing on large jobs, and a few flagged poor communication with the after-hours emergency phone line. A Comfort Club maintenance program covers routine tune-ups for both HVAC and plumbing equipment. This is a fit for Bakersfield homeowners who want one company covering both heating and cooling and plumbing, particularly in older homes where ductwork, airflow, and aging systems intersect. Customers planning a combined project — a new AC unit plus repiping, or a water heater swap alongside furnace work — get a single contractor for both trades. Those needing late-night emergency response should test the after-hours line before relying on it, given the communication concerns in the record.

Rescue Hero Plumbing & Pumping is a Bakersfield plumbing company specializing in septic system service and pumping, alongside general plumbing repair. Its services include septic tank pumping and repair, sewer and drain cleaning, pipe repair and replacement, leak detection, water heater service, and gas line and gas valve work. The company is based on Jasmine Avenue and operates around the clock for emergencies. Review themes highlight septic expertise and fast arrival. Customers describe technicians resolving backed-up septic systems, replacing collapsed lines, and repairing broken pipes to tanks within half a day, often after arriving within hours of the call. Technicians Westin, Bradley, Zach, and Wyatt are named for professional, knowledgeable work and clear explanations. Pricing reviews are largely positive — many call the rates fair or very affordable — though a few reviewers felt a bill came in high for the work involved. This is a fit for homeowners with septic systems who want a company that handles both the pumping and the repair side, including collapsed lines and tank connections. The around-the-clock availability makes it relevant for septic backups and sewer emergencies that cannot wait for business hours. It suits buyers who want to ask questions about their system and get a plain-English explanation before authorizing repairs.
