3 Best Contractor in Bakersfield for SameDay Service

Monarch Home Services - Bakersfield is a multi-trade home services contractor based on Espee Street, covering heating, air conditioning, plumbing, air duct cleaning, and electrical installation. Its HVAC side includes AC installation and repair, seasonal tune-ups, and furnace service; its plumbing side centers on water heater replacement and repair. The company presents itself around indoor comfort: technicians who diagnose comfort problems and propose repairs or replacements. Reviews paint a two-sided picture. On the technician side, Jesse is praised for transparency and for demonstrating each step of the work, while Jonathan, David G., and Don are described as knowledgeable, friendly AC technicians who explain things in plain terms. On the sales side, reviewers describe upsell pressure: one customer's AC tune-up turned into a push for a full system replacement from an 'air flow expert,' with basic cleaning left unfinished; another review describes a four-year-old system installation that later led to disputes over undersized wiring and expensive duct replacement quotes. This is a fit for homeowners shopping for HVAC maintenance or replacement who want options explained and are comfortable evaluating upgrade pitches. For water heater replacements and comfort-system diagnostics, the review record supports the technical side of the operation. For customers sensitive to sales pressure, the reviews suggest asking for written scopes before approving extra work.

A1 Plumbing is a Bakersfield plumbing contractor operating from Eric Court, east of downtown Bakersfield. Its listed services span residential and commercial plumbing, plumbing remodeling and upgrades, sewer and drain cleaning, and water heater work. A recurring job theme in reviews is whole-house repiping: one detailed review describes a total re-pipe of a 1930s home completed in three days, from the street connection through the house and back to the studio and laundry room. The company operates around the clock every day of the week. The review record is dominated by Rick and his team, named for exceeding expectations on re-pipe projects with fast, efficient work and tidy results. Customers praise thorough, careful workmanship and straightforward dealing. Business listings describe a full-service plumber offering residential and commercial plumbing, remodeling, and upgrades with 24/7 availability. One caution in the record is thin documentation of routine small-job reviews: the public trail skews toward larger projects rather than everyday repairs. This is a fit for Bakersfield homeowners in older houses considering a full re-pipe, where the reviewed record shows direct experience with complete system replacements. The 24/7 hours make it relevant for emergencies such as burst pipes or sudden water heater failures. It may also suit property owners planning plumbing remodels or additions who want a contractor whose crew has a track record on multi-day installation work.

Advanced Plumbing Service is a family-run plumbing repair and installation company in Bakersfield, based on Renfro Road in the northwest part of the city. It describes itself as serving Bakersfield and the surrounding areas for more than 30 years, handling work from small fixture repairs to full plumbing systems. Its listed services include trenchless sewer-line replacement, sewer and drain repair, complete home water repiping, fixture replacement and repair, and trailer-mounted jetting for heavy drain and sewer blockages. Review themes center on fast scheduling and on-time arrivals: customers describe quick visits for leaking toilets, shower valves, garbage disposal installs, and burst pipes, often with same-day or next-day service. Technicians named across reviews include Daniel, Tony, Ryan, and Brock, praised for explaining problems in plain terms, arriving with well-stocked trucks, and quoting the work before starting. Pricing draws mostly positive comments for being affordable and transparent, though one detailed review of a Moen shower mixer repair says it took weeks and cost far more than the original estimate. This is a fit for homeowners and landlords in Bakersfield and nearby areas facing broken fixtures, failing sewer lines, or full repipes who want one company to handle both the repair and the installation. The trenchless sewer-line work makes it relevant for properties where digging up the yard would be costly. Given the mixed pricing experiences, it may suit customers who ask for a written estimate and confirm turnaround expectations before authorizing work.
