40 Best Plumber in St. Louis for SameDay Service

Bore's Plumbing Sewer Services is a St. Louis-area plumber centered on sewer and drain work, listed in the St. Louis Hills area with an associated address in Arnold, Missouri. Its service menu covers sewer and drain cleaning, water piping, frozen line thawing, electronic location of sewer and water lines, code violation corrections, hydro flushing, in-line video inspection, stack replacement, and septic and grease trap pumping. Business listings show it serving Arnold and the surrounding Jefferson, St. Charles, and St. Louis counties. Reviews name two technicians: Austin, credited with arriving within two hours and clearing a main line in about an hour, and Michael, described as a master plumber who guided a customer through a complicated problem. Satisfied reviewers call the company fair and honest, saying the crew did the necessary work without upselling and explained the options clearly. The record is not one-sided: other reviewers report missed appointments without a call, fees charged for estimates, and rude customer service. This is a fit for homeowners and property managers facing main-line blockages, septic or grease-trap pumping, and code corrections — the kind of underground work where camera inspection and hydro flushing matter more than a quick snake. The split review record suggests asking for the estimate policy and a firm appointment window up front, especially for jobs where fees and scheduling have drawn complaints.

Lemay Plumbing, Inc. is a plumbing contractor on Lemay Ferry Road in St. Louis handling residential and commercial service and repair. Its listed offerings include sewer and drain cleaning, video sewer inspection, backflow preventer services, fixture repair and replacement, water heater installation, and bath remodeling. The company also advertises emergency service. Reviews name technician Elmer for diagnosing and fixing a tub overflow drain leak traced to an improperly sealed gasket, and Ryan and Mike for a scheduled water heater replacement done cleanly. Customers describe scheduling within the week and, in one case, a plumber at the door within an hour for a running toilet. The business responded publicly to a billing complaint noting its plumber had three decades of tenure. Pricing comments are mixed: some customers call the charges fair while others describe bills as higher than competing quotes. This is a fit for south St. Louis homeowners who need a generalist covering leaks, water heaters, sewer work, and bath remodels under one roof, including emergency calls for running toilets or leaks. Customers comparing quotes may want to confirm pricing in writing beforehand given the mixed billing commentary in reviews.

Walkers Heating and Cooling Services LLC is a Saint Louis contractor working across two trades: heating and cooling plus plumbing. Its listed services include air conditioner installation, repair, and maintenance, heat pumps, furnaces, boilers, water heaters, and fireplaces. On the plumbing side, reviewers describe water heater replacements and related water-heating work. The company accepts home warranty jobs and advertises emergency service. Review themes center on fast response and honest assessments. Glen Walker is the named technician across reviews: customers describe same-day compressor repairs during record heat, a water heater replaced in about thirty minutes, and an estimate that did not change between the initial visit and the finished job. Reviewers note that he calls while en route, explains the issue before starting, and once resolved a furnace problem by flipping a tripped breaker rather than selling unneeded work. This is a fit for Saint Louis homeowners who need both HVAC and plumbing coverage from one shop, particularly during summer heat failures or hot-water loss. The home-warranty experience makes it practical for owners coordinating warranty claims. For buyers comparing quotes on water heater replacement, the fixed-estimate pattern and quick scheduling address the main concerns directly.

Raw Dawgs Plumbing is a drain-focused plumber at 1727 Belle Glade Ave in St. Louis's Ville neighborhood. Its specialty is opening drains, especially main sewer lines: hydrojetting, camera inspection of sewer lateral lines, and general drain cleaning. Beyond clearing, it repairs and replaces pipe in PEX, PVC, and cast iron and takes on larger jobs such as floor breaks. It is open Sunday through Friday, 9 AM to 5:30 PM, and closed Saturday. Technician Mike appears across reviews for answering Sunday calls, arriving inside the promised window, and clearing clogged tubs and mains within about an hour. Reviewers describe it as the shop that solved stoppages other plumbers failed to diagnose, with camera findings explained in detail before work begins. A few reviews push back on phone-side upselling, so customers may want the quoted scope confirmed in writing before authorizing extra work. This fits city homeowners with stubborn main-line clogs, root intrusions, or drains that have defeated other shops, and landlords with older buildings prone to backups. The Sunday hours matter for weekend emergencies when many competitors are closed. It is a drain specialist rather than a remodel contractor, so bathroom or kitchen renovations belong elsewhere.

Classic Aire Care is a home-services company at 1276 N Warson Rd in St. Louis, covering heating, air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical work from one shop. The HVAC side handles furnace and air conditioner repair, replacement, and maintenance; the plumbing side covers water heater installation, drain work, and general plumbing repairs. It also services indoor air quality equipment such as air scrubbers and air handlers. Its technicians travel in recognizable orange-and-yellow penguin-branded vans across the metro, and the operation runs 24 hours for emergency calls. Reviewers name technicians including Brady, Scot, Justin, Brandon, and Sam for on-time arrivals, clear explanations of system care, and installs completed a day after signing. Themes include fast no-heat and no-cool response, technicians texting a photo before arrival, and education on new equipment. Several reviewers note long relationships that continued after legacy shops — Ryan Heating, Donahue Heating and Air Conditioning, Schneider Services, and South County Heating and Air Conditioning — were folded into the company. This fits homeowners and landlords who want one provider for heating, cooling, plumbing, and electrical instead of juggling separate contractors, including anyone with a furnace or AC failure outside business hours. It also suits commercial properties needing coordinated maintenance. The large review base and wide service list make it a comparison point against smaller single-trade shops.

R.A. Guinner Plumbing Company is a plumbing contractor on Gravois Avenue in St. Louis's Boulevard Heights neighborhood whose work spans everyday plumbing repair and complete kitchen and bathroom remodeling. Its listed offerings include sink drains and disposals, small fixture repairs, commercial plumbing services, and full basement finishes and additions. Reviews and service accounts mention gas-line work, drain cleaning, and water heater installation alongside remodel projects. Review themes center on responsiveness and design guidance: customers describe same-day quotes, gas-leak emergencies handled the same day the problem was discovered, and detailed explanations of what was wrong and what the fix would involve. Rich Guinner is named for helping homeowners shape bathroom layouts with practical advice on what would and would not work. Installation teams are described as prompt, professional, and courteous, with quote-to-completion timelines measured in weeks for larger jobs. This is a fit for south St. Louis homeowners combining plumbing repairs with kitchen or bathroom remodels, where one contractor handling both the design support and the rough-in work matters. The same-day quote pattern also makes it relevant for urgent situations like gas leaks or frozen-pipe advice where quick diagnosis is the priority.

Flow King Rooter Plumbing is a plumbing, drainage, and excavating contractor based on Lin Valle Dr in St. Louis, operating around the clock seven days a week. Its services include sewer line and gas line work, pipe repairs, water line and sewer line installation, septic tank pumping, rooter services, drain cleaning, and leak detection. The excavating side — trenching, dirt removal, and excavation — lets it handle full line replacements where digging is required. Reviewers describe emergency calls handled fast, including a burst basement pipe during extreme cold weather answered within hours when other companies did not respond, and a ruptured clay sewer pipe excavated through concrete and replaced the next day. Technicians Silvio and Michael are named across reviews for explaining work as they go and recommending only needed repairs. Reviewers also describe the company as a reliable partner for remodeling contractors on fixture and pipe work. This is a fit for homeowners facing sewer line failures or burst pipes who need excavation and plumbing under one roof. Remodelers looking for a plumbing subcontractor may find the trade-partner pattern reassuring. Anyone with clay or aging sewer lines should note the company's focus on trench and full-line replacement rather than spot patches.

ALLN1 Plumbing is a plumbing and remodeling contractor in the Baden area of St. Louis, operating from North Broadway with round-the-clock availability. Its plumbing services include drain cleaning, clogged drain and tub clearing, water heater repair and installation, burst pipe repair, water line work, plumbing diagnostics, sewer and mainline stack repair, and emergency flood and cleanup response. Because it also works as a bathroom and kitchen remodeler, it takes on combined projects such as full bathroom renovations alongside plumbing repairs, serving both residential and commercial customers. Review themes emphasize fast scheduling and clear, step-by-step explanations. Customers describe technicians Marqale and Jerel repairing a mainline stack by explaining the problem and their plan in detail, working efficiently in tight spaces around old piping, and cleaning up thoroughly before leaving. One customer called about a clogged basement tub and ended up having the entire bathroom renovated after learning the company did remodeling too. The scheduler Gia is mentioned as responsive, and reviewers repeatedly note same-day response for clogged drains and backups. A balanced note: one directory review mentions a promised callback that never arrived. This is a fit for homeowners who want drain or pipe repairs combined with remodeling, avoiding the need for separate contractors. Its 24/7 emergency positioning suits burst pipes and backups that cannot wait. For customers with mainline or stack problems in older homes, the combination of diagnostic explanation and cleanup-focused workmanship addresses the main anxieties directly.

Arch City Drain and Plumbing is a plumbing company in St. Louis operating around the clock from its base on Garfield Avenue. It provides residential and commercial plumbing with an emphasis on drain cleaning and sewer service: backed-up sinks, slow shower drains, sewer line problems, toilet repair, gas line repair, and water heater service. Its team works 24 hours a day, positioning the company for urgent calls such as burst pipes during cold Missouri winters and sewer backups after heavy spring rains, both common seasonal challenges for local homes. Review themes center on technician Chris and on fast response with clear communication. Customers describe issues fixed within hours of calling, gas line repairs completed thoroughly, quick appointment scheduling, and efficient work with recommendations for next steps. Reviewers repeatedly note professional conduct, knowledgeable explanations, and transparent, upfront pricing with no surprise fees. The company keeps a customer-first approach built around rapid turnaround from the initial call to completed repair. This is a fit for St. Louis homeowners and businesses that need same-day drain and sewer work from a locally focused shop. It suits landlords and property managers who want 24-hour coverage for rentals, as well as anyone facing a backup or failed water heater that cannot wait for business hours. The drain-first specialization makes it particularly relevant for homes with aging sewer lines.

It also handles water heater installation and replacement, faucet and fixture work, and emergency service on a 24/7 basis. Customers mention punctual arrivals, plain explanations of the work, and no unnecessary upselling. One reviewer reported a missed appointment with no follow-up, so scheduling consistency appears uneven. This is a fit for St. Louis homeowners and contractors who want one contractor covering drain, sewer, and water heater work with same-day estimates. The realtor's account makes it relevant for buyers and sellers racing occupancy-inspection deadlines. Nashville residents should note the company operates in both metros, so the St. Louis office handles the local work.
