6 Best Heating contractor in St. Louis for SameDay Service

SmartHouse is a heating and cooling contractor at 6921 Olive Boulevard in St. Louis, focused on HVAC and home performance rather than plumbing. Its listed services cover installation, maintenance, and repair of heating and cooling systems — both traditional and geothermal — along with indoor air quality solutions, energy efficiency upgrades, furnace and radiator repair, mini-split installation, and comfort-issue diagnostics. Business listings show it operating around the clock with emergency HVAC availability. Reviews name technicians Marcus, Luke, Marc, Kaylee, Stephanie, Ryan, and George, and repeatedly credit the company with detailed explanations, thorough evaluations, and honest recommendations — one reviewer notes the crew did not push a sale during a maintenance visit. Customers describe full-system replacements completed in two days, building-science-based system sizing, and installers who set up and optimized smart thermostats on follow-up visits. Themes are professionalism, patience with questions, and careful workmanship. This is a fit for St. Louis homeowners weighing a full HVAC replacement or tackling uneven comfort, indoor air quality, or rising energy use, especially those who want the technical reasoning explained before committing. Geothermal system owners are a natural audience given the specialty. For the directory owner, the trade note: SmartHouse is an HVAC firm, not a plumber, despite the directory's plumbing focus.

T-Will Fix It is a heating and air conditioning contractor at 2340 Lafayette Avenue, Suite 21, in St. Louis's Lafayette Square, and it is an HVAC business rather than a plumber. Its listed services include heating and air conditioning contractor work, repair and cleaning for residential and commercial systems, furnace repair and cleaning, heat pump installation and repair, air quality services, thermostat repair, tune-ups, and system cleaning. Listings show it serving St. Louis and surrounding areas including Ballwin, Chesterfield, Fenton, Florissant, Hazelwood, and Maryland Heights. Reviews consistently name Terrell as the technician, crediting him with arriving when promised, using current diagnostic equipment, and explaining each unit's condition in plain terms. Customers describe Sunday-morning emergency visits that fixed other companies' mistakes, same-day AC diagnosis, and roof-condenser repairs handled after hours for a property manager. Themes are punctuality, clear communication, and fair pricing. The company keeps reduced weekend hours — Saturday until mid-afternoon and Sunday mornings — so evening and holiday breakdowns may need alternate arrangements. This is a fit for homeowners and landlords across the metro needing fast, explain-it-to-me HVAC diagnosis, from AC recharge and thermostat repair to full heat pump work. Lafayette Square and central St. Louis residents get the closest coverage, with the listed suburbs extending the reach west and north. For the directory owner, the trade note: list this under HVAC, not plumbing.

Classic Aire Care is a home-services company at 1276 N Warson Rd in St. Louis, covering heating, air conditioning, plumbing, and electrical work from one shop. The HVAC side handles furnace and air conditioner repair, replacement, and maintenance; the plumbing side covers water heater installation, drain work, and general plumbing repairs. It also services indoor air quality equipment such as air scrubbers and air handlers. Its technicians travel in recognizable orange-and-yellow penguin-branded vans across the metro, and the operation runs 24 hours for emergency calls. Reviewers name technicians including Brady, Scot, Justin, Brandon, and Sam for on-time arrivals, clear explanations of system care, and installs completed a day after signing. Themes include fast no-heat and no-cool response, technicians texting a photo before arrival, and education on new equipment. Several reviewers note long relationships that continued after legacy shops — Ryan Heating, Donahue Heating and Air Conditioning, Schneider Services, and South County Heating and Air Conditioning — were folded into the company. This fits homeowners and landlords who want one provider for heating, cooling, plumbing, and electrical instead of juggling separate contractors, including anyone with a furnace or AC failure outside business hours. It also suits commercial properties needing coordinated maintenance. The large review base and wide service list make it a comparison point against smaller single-trade shops.

Hoffmann Brothers is a full-service mechanical contractor based in Brentwood, with a second location on Tower Grove Ave in St. Louis's Botanical Heights neighborhood. Its plumbing arm covers drain cleaning, plumbing repairs, sewer replacement and repair, toilet and faucet work, water heater repair and installation including tankless units, plumbing inspections, sump pumps, and sewer lining and trenchless solutions. The company also handles heating and air conditioning (furnace, heat pump, and boiler service; AC repair, installation, and tune-ups), electrical work (panel upgrades, outlets, lighting), appliance repair, and commercial HVAC, plumbing, and electrical service. Reviewers name technicians such as Michael, Bubby, Joe, and Tommy for explaining problems and options before starting work. A few reviews mention scheduling delays, so confirming the arrival window on the day is worthwhile. This is a fit for homeowners who want one contractor for plumbing, heating, cooling, electrical, and appliance work — particularly those managing aging homes where systems fail together. Commercial clients can use the full-service mechanical offering across branches. The company also serves the Nashville area through the same brand, but St. Louis customers should use the local offices.

Bieg Plumbing | Marick Mechanical is the St. Louis operation continuing the Bieg Plumbing & Mechanical name, providing full-service HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, and preventative maintenance for homes and businesses across the metro area. Its plumbing services include leak repair, hydro-jetting, sewer and drain line cleaning, fixture installation, bathroom remodeling support, full repiping, water heater installation and maintenance, sump pump service, water main repair and replacement, and sewer camera inspection, location, tracing, cleaning, repair, and replacement. It also takes on new-construction plumbing, site utilities, and commercial remodeling projects. On the mechanical side, it serves commercial facilities including office buildings, manufacturing plants, retail stores, restaurants and food service operations, and healthcare and institutional buildings, with customized preventative maintenance programs covering HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, and building systems. Reviews name technicians Zach, Cavion, Dennis, Josh, and Curtis, and recount a leak traced through a closet ceiling to an upstairs bathtub and an installation that was rechecked and corrected on the same visit. A balanced note: one customer reported a sewer-cleanout bill well above the technician's verbal estimate, though the owner responded and honored the original quote, and another cited slow turnaround on an estimate. This is a fit for commercial property managers who want combined HVAC, plumbing, and refrigeration coverage under one maintenance program. Residentially, it suits homeowners with complex sewer or leak problems and emergency calls any hour. The 24/7 emergency response positioning covers urgent HVAC, plumbing, and refrigeration breakdowns for businesses and homes alike.
