63 Best Plumber in Philadelphia for SameDay Service

Advanced plumbing heating and drain cleaning is a Northeast Philadelphia plumbing and heating contractor based on Montour St. Its listed offerings cover new plumbing installation, piping and repiping, electronic leak detection, kitchen and bath remodeling, and drain cleaning, alongside heating system maintenance, radiator heating repair, and toilet replacement. The mix positions it as a combined plumbing-heating-remodeling shop rather than a drain-only outfit. The company's public review record is small, with directory listings showing a handful of reviews across a few years. Its listed trade mix suggests the typical customer is a Northeast Philadelphia homeowner needing anything from a repiped section to a bathroom remodel with the plumbing roughed in by the same crew. This is a fit for homeowners in Northeast Philadelphia and nearby neighborhoods who want one contractor covering plumbing, heating maintenance, and light remodeling. Those planning a kitchen or bath project may find the combined plumbing-remodeling capability convenient. Because the review record is thin, callers should ask about recent comparable jobs before committing.

Ingram's Plumbing and Heating is a plumbing, heating, and air conditioning contractor based on N Broad St in the Olney-Oak Lane neighborhood. Its team handles plumbing repairs and installations, A/C repair and installation, and heating system maintenance, positioning it as a single shop for a home's water, heating, and cooling systems. Reviewers describe same-day response for leaks, with technicians who explain the work clearly and leave homes spotless. One widely shared account tells of a late-night emergency handled promptly without hassle. The company also takes on boiler and heater work, and its listed hours run around the clock. A dissenting review flags a steep diagnostic fee and an expensive repair quote, suggesting callers confirm pricing before authorizing work. This is a fit for North Philadelphia homeowners who want plumbing and HVAC under one roof rather than separate contractors. The emergency availability suits after-hours breakdowns of boilers or heating systems. Those sensitive to pricing should ask for the diagnostic fee and a written estimate upfront.

Water Heater Express is a Philadelphia water heater specialist based on W Kingsley St in the Mount Airy neighborhood. The company focuses on water heater installation, replacement, and repair, including expansion tank replacement, rather than general plumbing. Its technicians diagnose whether an aging unit should be repaired or replaced and explain the options before quoting. Reviewers describe next-day scheduling, with one account of a Sunday call leading to a Monday installation of two water heaters completed in about two hours. Customers repeatedly mention clear explanations, no hidden charges, and technicians arriving on time with the job done cleanly. The pattern is fast turnaround on replacements, which matters when a household is without hot water. This is a fit for Philadelphia homeowners facing a failed or aging water heater who want a dedicated specialist rather than a generalist plumber. The company's narrow focus suits anyone comparing replacement quotes or deciding between repair and replacement. Mount Airy and nearby Northwest Philadelphia residents get a local option with a track record of quick, tidy water heater jobs.

The listing shows round-the-clock availability every day. Reviews mention Mr. Tom, Mr. Robert, and the family team by name, with positive accounts of a kitchen sink pipe leak fixed in about fifteen minutes and extra effort taken for an elderly customer's work. The company also appears frequently as a referral through home warranty programs like HomeServe. One review reports a bad experience alleging created leaks and property damage, while another complains about multiple family members attending one warranty job. The pattern suggests outcomes vary significantly by job and technician. This is a fit for North Philadelphia homeowners who need routine plumbing or heating work and may have been referred through a home warranty plan, where the company's familiarity with warranty workflows helps. Customers should get the scope in writing and confirm exactly who will attend the job, given the mixed reports about crew size and workmanship. Those comparing quotes for water heaters or heating system work can use the broad service list as a starting point for questions.

The company's stated operating principle is honest pricing paired with guaranteed workmanship at a fraction of what the major competitors charge for the same service. Its specialty is drain clearing and plumbing repairs rather than full bathroom renovations or large construction projects. The review record centers on drain jobs where technicians are named individually: Tuan is described as quick to reach out, booking appointments directly and arriving on time or early, while Kit resolved a guest bathroom plumbing issue in minutes and quoted a lower price than competitors. Customers should confirm response times and pricing directly before booking, since the public record offers little detail beyond the hours and the generalist trade scope. This is a fit for Philadelphia customers who want a local plumber reachable at any hour for both routine fixes and emergencies.
