AirMaster Heating & Cooling Specialists is an HVAC contractor based on Baynton St in East Germantown, serving residential and light commercial customers. The company is a Mitsubishi Diamond Dealer, indicating specialized expertise in Mitsubishi hyper heat pump systems. Listed hours run Monday through Saturday, 7:30 AM to 5 PM. Reviewers name technicians Jordan, Joe, Matt, and Ryan, describing patient, professional, thorough service with clear options and same-day resolution when parts are on hand. One account tells of a heat pump system installed at a competitive price after comparing multiple quotes; another praises Ryan for patiently nursing an old boiler back to life without upselling. A few reviews describe estimate-charge disputes, so callers should clarify estimate fees upfront. This is a fit for Philadelphia homeowners planning HVAC replacement or needing careful diagnosis of aging boilers and furnaces. The Diamond Dealer status suits those considering a switch to heat pumps. Those sensitive to pricing should confirm estimate terms before booking.

Precision Plus is a Philadelphia plumbing, heating, and water damage restoration company based on Germantown Ave in Mount Airy. Its services include tankless water heater installation, gas line installation, septic pumping, general plumbing and heating work, and water damage restoration with moisture detection and mold prevention protocols. The company serves Philadelphia plus Delaware, Chester, and Montgomery counties. Reviewers repeatedly name technician Derrick, describing furnace repairs completed quickly with costs explained before work began, a burst pipe resolved with a next-morning appointment in midwinter, and an 11 PM drain burst answered within the hour. Customers praise honest assessments — one notes Derrick drew a diagram of the problem — and respectful treatment of homes. A dissenting review describes an upsell-heavy drain visit with tiered quotes, suggesting callers confirm pricing before authorizing work. This is a fit for Northwest Philadelphia homeowners who want plumbing, heating, and water damage restoration from one company, especially where a water heater failure has caused damage needing documented restoration. The after-hours responsiveness suits nighttime emergencies. Those sensitive to pricing should ask for a written estimate upfront.

Technicians named Mike, Oscar, Kyle, and Steve earn praise for clear communication, on-time arrivals, and thorough checks — one customer had two tubs snaked with a loose part fixed without hesitation, another had water heater options reviewed before replacement. Customers note the office answers the phone and follows up as promised. This is a fit for Northwest Philadelphia homeowners, including rental property owners, who want one company for HVAC, plumbing, and electrical rather than three separate vendors. The hands-on owner involvement suits complex installations in older homes. Those needing weekend service should note the weekday-only schedule.

Bill Frusco Plumbing Heating and Air Conditioning is a plumbing and HVAC company based on Torresdale Avenue in Northeast Philadelphia. Its listed offerings cover drain cleaning, water heater repair, boiler work, heater repair and replacement, air conditioning installation, commercial plumbing and HVAC, and camera line inspections. The company operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, backs work with a stated workmanship guarantee, and offers free estimates for residential and commercial clients. Reviews name a deep bench of technicians: Amir, John R, John Frusco, Brendan, Grayson, Nick, and Mark, with accounts of air conditioners diagnosed and fixed within an hour on hot days, gas water heaters installed with the old unit hauled away, and complete heating and air conditioning systems plus hot water heaters replaced in a single project. Customers describe the trucks as a familiar sight across the Northeast, praise fair and transparent pricing, note community involvement like ads in local church bulletins, and highlight responsiveness to strict building paperwork requirements for commercial jobs. Edward Hughes & Son, Inc. is a plumbing and heating contractor based on Cedar Street in Philadelphia's Fishtown neighborhood, describing itself as a family-oriented business. Its listed offerings cover backflow prevention, heating installation and repairs, sewers and drains, water lines, and fixture installation, spanning both plumbing and HVAC work. The company serves Philadelphia and the surrounding counties, with its license board record showing a large volume of permitted projects over the years. The review record is mixed, and prospective customers should read it carefully. Positive reviews describe furnace failures repaired within an hour in freezing weather, with technicians arriving reasonably close to schedule, asking for a towel to wipe their boots, and offering prevention tips. Other reviews report serious dissatisfaction: improperly completed heating work, missed return visits, property damage, and one customer who described pursuing legal action over a steam heating system repair. The contrast makes it a company where the specific technician, the clarity of the quote, and written expectations matter more than average. This is a fit for Philadelphia homeowners who need plumbing or heating work and are comfortable vetting thoroughly before hiring, starting with a detailed written scope and confirming scheduling commitments. Customers who have had a good experience with a specific technician tend to call back directly. For complex or high-cost jobs like steam system or full heating replacements, comparing this company's quote against at least two others is the prudent approach given the range of reported outcomes.

Greater Works Plumbing is a plumbing company based on East Chelten Avenue in East Germantown, Philadelphia, also serving surrounding areas with a second presence on South Street. Its listed offerings cover drain cleaning, hydro jetting, heating repairs and installs, remodel rough-ins, and general plumbing repairs, with reviews describing tankless water heater repairs, water heater and furnace replacement, sewer replacement, and whole water line replacements. The company operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and advertises free estimates with online booking. Technician Quinton is named across reviews for arriving on time, diagnosing problems quickly, and fixing them right the first time without upselling. Standout review stories include a failed water line to the house handled within two hours of the call with a next-morning installation, a kitchen remodel's new water lines run neatly and passing inspection on the first attempt, and sewer replacement work described as professional and on time. Financing options and fair pricing are mentioned as helping customers move forward on larger jobs. This is a fit for Philadelphia homeowners facing major underground or water-line failures where fast response and financing flexibility matter, especially in older neighborhoods with aging lead lines. Households planning kitchen remodels that need plumbing rough-in work benefit from the documented inspection-pass track record. Renters and owners dealing with simultaneous plumbing and heating replacements can use the combined service list to consolidate vendors.

Its plumbing services span toilets, water line repairs, outdoor hose faucets, burst pipe repairs, fixtures, garbage disposals, and clogged toilets. The drain and sewer division handles RootX tree root treatment, video inspections, jetting, drain unclogging, and sewer line repairs, while the heating and air side covers boilers, furnaces, radiant heat, thermostats, and inspections, plus water filtration systems. Reviews revolve around Andy himself: prompt, neat, and knowledgeable, explaining everything as he works. Named jobs include a garbage disposal fixed, a noisy pipe issue diagnosed and eased, a sewer line cleared, a bathroom faucet repaired with a supply-house run when the part wasn't on the truck, and a busted water heater replaced the same afternoon by technician Joe. Customers in the Roxborough-Manayunk area describe it as a neighborhood institution with reasonable pricing and spotless cleanup, noting financing options for larger plumbing and heating repairs. This is a fit for Roxborough-Manayunk homeowners who want the owner-operator relationship, with the same person often diagnosing and fixing the problem. The same-day water heater service and sewer-line expertise suit urgent situations as well as planned replacements. East Falls Plumbing & Heating is a plumbing and heating contractor based on West Commissioner Street in Philadelphia, led by Master Plumber Bill Bierman. Its specialty is troubleshooting and repairing old plumbing and heating systems in Victorian and early-20th-century homes: stack pipe replacement, stormwater drain lines, radiator valves, boiler gauges, steam systems, and water heater installation. The company also handles everyday repairs — toilets, faucets, leaks, and drain cleaning. Review patterns show an expert in old Philly houses: a stack pipe replaced the same day it failed two days after a customer bought their first home, and a stormwater line running under a kitchen repaired over two days with options presented at each step. Customers describe fair pricing, clear communication, protective covers worn in the home, and thorough cleanup. Bill is repeatedly praised as trustworthy, responsive, and completely respectful. This is a fit for owners of older Philadelphia homes whose plumbing and heating systems predate modern standards. The old-house expertise suits buyers of Victorian and early-1900s properties facing their first major failure. Joseph Giannone Plumbing & Heating is a small plumbing and heating contractor based on South Juniper Street in South Philadelphia. Its listed offerings cover drains and sewer lines, toilet installation and repair, faucets and fixtures, piping, water leaks, water heater services, and heating installation, maintenance, and repair. The company handles both residential and commercial work, with reviewers noting particular strength in foodservice and hospitality kitchens. The defining trait in reviews is the owner himself: Joe Giannone answers calls personally and is repeatedly praised for honest advice, including steering customers away from plumbing work they do not need. Reviewers describe fast, careful jobs — a broken fifty-year-old bathtub fixture replaced within hours, with two unmentioned problems fixed without being asked. Technicians such as Alphonzo are noted for diligence, and workspaces are left cleaner than found. This fits customers who prefer dealing directly with the owner rather than a dispatch center, and who value straight talk over upselling. The commercial kitchen experience makes it relevant for restaurants and foodservice operators in Philadelphia. For South Philadelphia homeowners with aging fixtures and finicky old plumbing, the pattern of thorough diagnosis and money-saving honesty is the practical draw.

Precision Plus Plumbing is a West Philadelphia plumbing, heating, and water damage restoration company based on North 54th Street, open 24/7/365. Its stated scope covers general plumbing, water heater service and installation with same-day availability, furnace and heating repairs, gas lines, boiler repair, and drain cleaning. The water cleanup side covers water damage restoration with technicians trained in moisture detection, air quality protocols, and mold prevention, and the company states it works with insurance companies on water heater claims. Customer accounts center on technician Derrick, describing a Christmas Eve toilet repair, an 11 p.m. drain burst answered within the hour with a hand-drawn diagram of the problem, a burst pipe resolved the next morning during a cold snap, and a flooded basement where he replaced bad cast-iron drain pipe and snaked the under-floor section the first plumber had missed. Review themes include camera inspections showing pipe condition on a monitor, drop cloths and furniture protection, and drywall repair arranged after the work. Precision Plus Plumbing suits West Philadelphia homeowners facing water emergencies where plumbing repair and water damage restoration overlap. The combination of same-day water heater service, 24/7 availability, and restoration capability makes it a single call for failures that flood as well as fail.
