63 Best Plumber in Philadelphia for SameDay Service

Dr. Leaks - Leak Detection & Mold Remediation Philadelphia is a diagnostic specialist based on Ridge Ave in the Allegheny West neighborhood, focused on finding leaks other contractors cannot. Instead of guessing, its technicians use camera and tracing equipment to pinpoint the exact source of roof, plumbing, and structural leaks, then repair the leak and restore damaged areas. The company also handles mold detection and remediation: inspecting the affected area, fixing the moisture source behind the mold, removing it, dehumidifying, and completing cosmetic repairs. Reviewers repeatedly describe leaks that survived multiple roofing companies and years of failed fixes, resolved by Dr. Leaks in a single day. Customers praise the thoroughness of the diagnosis, clear reporting on where water enters and how it will be fixed, and professionalism across the assessment and repair teams. A local mason notes the service ends the familiar blame game between roofers and masons over mystery leaks. This is a fit for Philadelphia homeowners with recurring or unfindable leaks who have already paid for fixes that did not hold. The diagnostic-first approach suits anyone deciding between a targeted repair and a full roof replacement. It also serves property owners dealing with mold tied to hidden moisture, since the company addresses the source rather than just the symptom.

The review record is mixed, and prospective customers should read it carefully. Positive reviews describe furnace failures repaired within an hour in freezing weather, with technicians arriving reasonably close to schedule, asking for a towel to wipe their boots, and offering prevention tips. Other reviews report serious dissatisfaction: improperly completed heating work, missed return visits, property damage, and one customer who described pursuing legal action over a steam heating system repair.
