Best Gas installation service in Omaha for SameDay Service

Southside Plumbing is a plumbing contractor on South 27th Street in Southeast Omaha also operating as Aksarben Sewer & Drain, handling residential and commercial work. Its services include drain cleaning and repair, water heater installation, leak repairs, and 24-hour emergency response, alongside commercial plumbing such as floor drains and backflow prevention. Its category set also includes bathroom and kitchen remodeling, gas installation, septic service, and water purification, pointing to a broader full-service profile than the drain-focused name suggests. The review record shows two distinct patterns. Positive reviews center on rapid response and thorough assessment: one customer describes calling at 11 a.m. and having Shawn E on site by 12:30 for a full basement inspection with step-by-step explanations and emailed estimates, while named technicians Mike, Riley, Josh, Zach, Johnny, and Sean appear across reviews for prompt, professional drain and catastrophe work. Other reviews describe unresolved drain issues and billing disputes, painting a mixed record where outcomes vary by job. This is a fit for Omaha customers with a clearly defined drain, leak, or water heater problem who value fast scheduling and detailed written estimates before committing. The 24-hour emergency positioning and commercial capabilities make it relevant for businesses as well as homes, though the mixed review pattern suggests agreeing on scope and cost in writing before work starts.

Plumbing Today HVAC is a multi-trade contractor based on Spaulding Street in North Omaha, covering plumbing, heating, cooling, and bathroom remodeling. Its listed services include water heater repair, drain cleaning, sewer repairs, gas piping, sump pump systems, air conditioning installation, video camera inspections, indoor air quality work, and water purification. The company serves the greater Omaha and Council Bluffs metro areas and positions itself around same-day service with 24-hour emergency availability every day. Reviewers name technicians Tony and Austin for explaining work in detail: one customer describes Tony scoping a drain blockage, arriving prepared, and walking through maintenance steps to prevent recurrence; another credits Austin with reaching a home within the hour for a shower that would not shut off and staying until the repair was finished. Customers also describe prompt scheduling for urgent calls and being talked through problems in plain language. This is a fit for Omaha-metro homeowners who want plumbing, heating, cooling, and remodel work from a single contractor rather than coordinating multiple trades. The around-the-clock emergency positioning suits burst pipes and drain backups that cannot wait for business hours. For customers comparing multi-trade outfits, the breadth of the service list — from gas piping to water purification — is the distinguishing feature.
