7 Best Furnace repair service in Omaha for SameDay Service

Skradski Heating & Cooling is an Omaha HVAC contractor operating from Center Street, and it is HVAC-first rather than a plumbing shop — its trade categories run across heating, air conditioning, furnace repair, duct cleaning, and air-conditioning equipment. It serves residential and commercial customers in the Omaha metro, with weekday hours posted at 7:30 AM to 5 PM. The business presents itself as a multi-generation family operation, now run by its third generation of the Skradski family. Review themes are strongly technician-driven: customers name Blake for diagnosing a furnace issue with exceptional transparency, Zach for heading up an HVAC replacement with steady communication, Eduardo for thorough AC service with written notes, and Ryan for explaining AC problems so a customer could make a rational decision. Same-day scheduling comes up as a positive. The pattern is consistent — communicative technicians, clear explanations, no-upset scheduling. This is a fit for Omaha homeowners needing furnace, AC, or full HVAC system replacement from a shop with deep local roots and a strong service reputation. The family-run structure shows in the personalized reviews. It is not the call for plumbing repairs — its trade is heating and cooling — but for anyone pairing HVAC work with home comfort upgrades, or seeking yearly AC and HVAC maintenance, it matches the review record well.

Thermal Services, Inc. is a full-service residential and commercial HVAC and plumbing company based in Millard, Omaha, covering heating, cooling, and plumbing under one roof. Its offerings include furnace and air conditioner repair, replacement, and maintenance, heat pump installation and service, ductless air conditioning, commercial HVAC and refrigeration work, and routine check-up plans. On the plumbing side, the company handles drain fixes and fixture projects such as walk-in shower installations, with technicians available around the clock for emergencies. Reviews name technicians including John, Connor, Hayden, Mathew, and Eli, describing personable, knowledgeable service and clear explanations of features and options. One customer reports a dead furnace fixed within three hours of calling, with the technician also setting up routine maintenance. Another describes a full HVAC replacement where the sales process laid out multiple options without pressure, and long-term customers reference decades of twice-yearly maintenance visits from consistently courteous techs. This is a fit for homeowners who want one accountable company for both climate systems and plumbing rather than juggling separate contractors. It suits anyone considering a maintenance plan, since the review record repeatedly describes the twice-yearly check-up rhythm. Commercial property owners can also look here, given the dedicated commercial HVAC and refrigeration capability.

Its plumbing side includes drain cleaning and unclogging, sewer lines and systems, water heater installation including tankless models, water softeners and filtration, backflow preventers, gas lines, bathroom and kitchen fixtures, leak protection, water shut-off systems, cleanout installation, and remodeling and replacement work. The company operates 24 hours a day serving residential and commercial properties across the Omaha area. Review themes center on the technician experience. Named technicians including Oscar, Jake, Travis, Mike, James C., and Steve Douthit are described as friendly and thorough. Jake earned praise for clearing a drain and explaining the full picture in plain terms, while James C. was noted for walking a customer through pipe corrosion and the case for a water filtration system. Customers describe same-day appointments for drain work, careful diagnostics, and technicians who answer questions without rushing. This is a fit for Omaha homeowners who prefer a single point of contact for the mechanical systems of a house, rather than separate plumbers, electricians, and HVAC contractors. Owners of older homes with layered problems such as corroded pipes, failing water heaters, or aging furnaces may benefit from the broad bench of technicians. For anyone weighing options on a larger job, the pattern of explained choices before work begins gives a clear starting point for comparison.

Plumbing Today HVAC is a multi-trade contractor based on Spaulding Street in North Omaha, covering plumbing, heating, cooling, and bathroom remodeling. Its listed services include water heater repair, drain cleaning, sewer repairs, gas piping, sump pump systems, air conditioning installation, video camera inspections, indoor air quality work, and water purification. The company serves the greater Omaha and Council Bluffs metro areas and positions itself around same-day service with 24-hour emergency availability every day. Reviewers name technicians Tony and Austin for explaining work in detail: one customer describes Tony scoping a drain blockage, arriving prepared, and walking through maintenance steps to prevent recurrence; another credits Austin with reaching a home within the hour for a shower that would not shut off and staying until the repair was finished. Customers also describe prompt scheduling for urgent calls and being talked through problems in plain language. This is a fit for Omaha-metro homeowners who want plumbing, heating, cooling, and remodel work from a single contractor rather than coordinating multiple trades. The around-the-clock emergency positioning suits burst pipes and drain backups that cannot wait for business hours. For customers comparing multi-trade outfits, the breadth of the service list — from gas piping to water purification — is the distinguishing feature.

As a Trane dealer, its HVAC side handles AC and furnace installation, repair, service, and cleaning, while the plumbing side covers urgent repairs, water heater installation, drain work, and sewer issues. Listed hours run Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 7 PM, with weekend availability. Reviewers describe technicians as knowledgeable, informative, and professional, with several noting years of repeat service. One critical review describes a water heater quote nearly double a competitor's, a counterpoint worth weighing. This is a fit for Omaha and Council Bluffs customers who want HVAC and electrical work from one contractor. The maintenance-checkup structure suits commercial clients and homeowners with older equipment who want scheduled oversight. For furnace or AC failures in extreme weather, the 24-hour availability and quick turnaround — including next-day installs in some accounts — address the urgent need.
