9 Best Air conditioning repair service in Mesa for SameDay Service

AirTime Cooling and Heating is a Mesa-based company covering air conditioning, heating, and plumbing for homes in the East Valley. Its HVAC work spans air conditioner repair and replacement, heater repair, new system installations, heat pumps, and gas and electric systems from brands including Trane, Carrier, Amana, Goodman, Bryant, and Lennox. It installs ductless mini-splits, services multiple units on a single visit, and runs an annual membership program that covers AC, furnace, and water heater tune-ups. The company keeps seven-day hours from morning to evening. Reviews name technicians Dan, Kyle, Monty, Garrett, Joshua, David, Axel, and Tim, with repeated mention of thorough explanations and careful cleanup. Themes include urgent Saturday-morning scheduling for failed air conditioners, accurate quotes that avoid unnecessary replacements, and install crews that coordinate on equipment placement with the homeowner. Several customers describe buying a second system after a positive first experience. AirTime suits East Valley homeowners who need a dependable cooling contractor during extreme heat, whether for a sudden breakdown or a planned replacement. Its multi-unit servicing fits landlords and owners of guest houses, while the membership program appeals to households that prefer preventive maintenance over emergency calls. Anyone comparing quotes on a new system can get a written recommendation with options.

AZ Home Services Group AC Repair & Plumbing Services of Mesa is a dual-trade home services company covering both HVAC and plumbing from its Mesa location, serving the wider Phoenix metro. Its HVAC side includes air conditioning installation, repair, and maintenance plus heating system service. Its plumbing side spans water heater repair and replacement, drain cleaning, leak detection, hydro jetting, camera inspections, and trenchless sewer repairs, with tankless systems among its specialties. Technicians Justin, Daniel, and Michael Bear are named across reviews for diagnosing problems accurately and explaining the work in plain terms. Customers describe AC parts sourced and installed within the hour, late-night emergency troubleshooting on Friday nights with replacement systems installed over the weekend, and water heater fixes like anode rod replacement completed without mess. Reviews also note technicians recommending repairs only when warranted rather than pushing full system replacements. This is a fit for homeowners who want a single company for both their cooling and plumbing needs, particularly during Phoenix summers when an AC failure and a plumbing problem can land in the same week. The same-day and emergency appointment positioning makes it relevant for urgent breakdowns. For customers comparing quotes on system replacements, the pattern of fair, itemized quotes and technicians who talk customers out of unnecessary upsells addresses the trust question directly.

Rainforest Plumbing & Air is a large plumbing and HVAC contractor in Mesa at 1837 N Rosemont, operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week across the greater Phoenix area. Its plumbing services include leak detection, backflow prevention, water heater service and sales, drain and sewer work with camera inspections, shower and tub repairs, sump pump systems, and emergency calls. The HVAC side covers air conditioning repair, refrigerant leak detection, mini-split systems, and indoor air quality work, and the company offers an upfront price guarantee with free estimates and a military discount. Reviews name technicians Adam, Brady, Cory, and Kevin: one customer describes Brady correctly diagnosing a sump pump and sewer problem two other companies had failed to fix, saving the customer from an unnecessary five-figure pump replacement, while others praise Adam's detailed sewer scope inspections for homebuyers. Customers describe fast response times, shoe covers and cleanup, and technicians who explain the full system before recommending work. One reviewer reports a disappointing experience, a reminder that a large operation's quality can vary by crew. Rainforest fits Mesa-area homeowners who want a big, always-available shop for both plumbing and air conditioning, especially buyers who want a sewer scope before closing on a home. It suits people with complex problems like sump pump failures or sewer line issues who want a careful diagnostician, and families with both plumbing and AC needs who prefer one contractor. The 24/7 schedule and military discount make it practical for emergencies and service members.

John's Heating, Cooling, and Plumbing is a Mesa-based home services company at East 10th Drive that leads with heating and cooling but carries plumbing as a full second trade. The HVAC side covers air conditioning repair and installation, furnace repair and replacement, air duct cleaning, and indoor air quality work; the plumbing side covers water heater repair and replacement, sewer line services, and general plumbing repairs. The company operates 24 hours a day, every day, with same-day and emergency service advertised — a posture built for Arizona summers, when AC failure is an emergency. Reviews are dominated by air conditioning work: customers describe full system replacements completed within hours, including a Friday-afternoon holiday-weekend install finished in under three hours, and same-day response when units failed at 115 degrees. Technicians named include Derek Adams, Tyson, Mario, Cory, Sergio, and Carlos, with reviewers noting prompt arrival, clean work areas, and fair itemized pricing. Plumbing reviews follow the same pattern — a same-day water heater valve replacement with the technician explaining the system to the homeowner. One critical review describes a warranty-parts delay with poor communication, showing outcomes can depend on parts availability. This is a fit for Mesa-area homeowners who want one company covering both the air conditioning and the plumbing — a failed compressor in July or a dead water heater in December draws the same 24-hour dispatch. Given the occasional parts-delay complaint, anyone scheduling a warranty or special-order repair should pin down the timeline and communication plan first.

J&L Plumbing and Air is a Mesa company combining plumbing and air conditioning service from its Iron Avenue shop. Plumbing-side offerings include drain service and maintenance, drain replacements, fresh water repipes, tankless water heater installation, and general plumbing repair. On the HVAC side, the company covers AC repair, system tune-ups, AC installation, and indoor air quality work. Reviews mention technician Zach for honest assessments, such as advising against a toilet replacement a customer expected to need. The company runs weekday shop hours with half-day weekend hours and advertises same-day service plus emergency plumbing availability. Customers can reach one company for both a leaking pipe and a failing air conditioner. This fits East Valley homeowners who prefer a single contractor for home comfort systems rather than separate trades. It works for households planning AC maintenance ahead of summer heat alongside plumbing upgrades like repiping or tankless water heaters. The weekend hours make it an option for Saturday-morning problems that cannot wait until Monday.

Action Plumbing Heating Air & Electric is a multi-trade contractor based in Mesa at 3707 E Southern Ave, covering plumbing, heating, air conditioning, and electrical work for residential and commercial customers. It operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and its service scope spans drain cleaning, plumbing repairs and remodeling, water heater work, HVAC service, septic service, and electrical work. The company positions itself as a single point of contact for all home systems. Review themes are mixed in a pattern worth knowing. On the positive side, customers praise tech Rodney for quick electrical diagnostics, techs Ethan and Chase for professional water heater work with clear options, and tech Trey for explaining a sink problem and scheduling same-day service. On the other hand, multiple reviewers describe significant pricing complaints: one customer reported being billed much more for a repeat shut-off valve job than the prior year, and another described feeling overcharged for a disposal installation. The honest takeaway is that service quality gets frequent praise while pricing satisfaction is inconsistent, so getting a written quote before work begins is advisable. Action suits homeowners who want one contractor for plumbing, HVAC, and electrical, especially landlords and busy households that value a single phone number for all trades. The 24/7 availability fits urgent calls across any system. Given the pricing complaints in the record, the best fit is a customer who confirms the quote in writing first and uses the company's breadth for bundled or recurring multi-trade work.

Reidhead Plumbing & Air is a family-run Mesa contractor at 1749 N Country Club Dr that combines plumbing with solar services, a distinctive pairing for Arizona. Its plumbing side covers leak detection, water heater installation and repair, septic services, and general residential and commercial repairs, while its solar division installs solar water heaters and solar pool heating systems that cut conventional energy use. The company offers free estimates, same-day service, and 24/7 emergency response across Mesa and the East Valley. Reviews describe the team as knowledgeable, professional, and respectful, with particular praise for explaining work clearly before starting. The solar angle draws specific mention from customers who had solar water heating or pool solar installed alongside plumbing repairs. One detailed negative review describes a miscommunication that led to unauthorized credit card charges, which the customer resolved only after repeated follow-ups; this single serious complaint sits against a broader record of satisfied customers, but it suggests confirming payment details and authorization in writing before work begins. Reidhead fits Mesa-area homeowners interested in solar water heating or solar pool systems who want those installed by a plumbing shop rather than a solar-only company. It suits families dealing with leaks, septic issues, or water heater replacements who value a family-run contractor, and customers who want one call for both plumbing repairs and renewable hot water upgrades. The 24/7 emergency line also serves anyone with an after-hours leak or backup.

Go Direct Plumbing, Sewer and Water is a Mesa company at 1826 W Broadway Rd #22 that stays open around the clock every day, covering plumbing alongside sewer and water line work. Its listed offerings include trenchless sewer line repair, whole-house repiping, water line replacement and repair, fixture repair and replacement, sewer main clearing, water heater installation and replacement, and drain clog clearing. The combined plumbing, sewer, and HVAC trades in its categories mean it also handles air conditioning repair calls alongside wet-side plumbing. Public information on the company is thin: its directory profile lists moderate pricing and credit card acceptance, and a handful of customer reviews cover sewer and water heater jobs. One recent public review asserts the Arizona operation is out of business, a claim that cannot be verified from other sources but introduces uncertainty for anyone comparing options. The company also appears under the variant name Go Direct Plumbing And Sewer LLC in contractor directories. This is a fit for Mesa homeowners weighing trenchless sewer repair or repiping who want a single contractor for both the water line and the sewer line, within its advertised 24-hour availability. Because the public record is sparse, it suits people who prefer to verify current operations before booking. For owners facing combined plumbing and air conditioning issues, the dual-trade coverage could resolve both problems in one call.

PlumbSmart Plumbing Heating and Air is a Mesa-based plumbing and HVAC contractor serving the wider Valley, with listed locations in Mesa and Phoenix and service coverage across Tempe, Chandler, Gilbert, Scottsdale, Peoria, Glendale, Goodyear, Sun City, San Tan Valley, Apache Junction, Paradise Valley, Sun Lakes, Cave Creek, and Fountain Hills. Its plumbing work spans leak detection and repair, drain cleaning, water heater installation and repair, garbage disposals, faucet and toilet installs, and water treatment including softeners and reverse osmosis systems. The HVAC side covers air conditioning repair and replacement, heating tune-ups, duct sealing, whole-house air filtration and humidifiers, and thermostats. Emergency service runs around the clock, every day of the week. Reviewers frequently describe same-day or within-hours response: a farmhouse sink installation handled the same day as the call, an emergency drain backup cleared within two hours, and a technician named Trevor who arrived fast and left no mess. Named technicians include Brian, Charles, Francisco D., Juan, Scott, and Devin, with customers highlighting clear explanations of options and upfront pricing before work begins. A small number of reviewers on contractor sites reported high costs and feeling pressured into additional repairs, so price-sensitive customers may want to compare quotes. This is a fit for Valley homeowners who want one contractor for both plumbing and HVAC, particularly for combined projects like a water heater plus water softener or RO installation. The broad service area and 24/7 scheduling also suit urgent failures outside normal business hours.
