Best Contractor in Lubbock for SameDay Service

Churchwell Plumbing is a Lubbock plumbing company at 8807 Urbana Ave that combines service work with a plumbing supply store and septic system services. Its core specialty is trenchless drain repair and replacement — swapping out sewer lines without excavating floors, driveways, or parking lots — alongside drain cleaning, sewer cleaning, water and gas leak repairs, camera inspections, slab leak repairs, and Pelican water system installation. The company offers financing for larger jobs and advertises emergency plumbing services, covering Lubbock and surrounding areas within a roughly 50-mile radius. Positive review accounts praise the trenchless work: one customer describes an epoxy liner fixing a cracked main line and avoiding extensive digging, while another credits technician Steve with promptly snaking a slow drain, arriving on time, verifying the line was clear, and cleaning up afterward. The record includes two dissatisfied accounts, both tied to new-construction work — one describing misplaced bathroom plumbing and missed ice-maker lines, another reporting a sewer replacement that skipped the final 12 feet from the cleanout to the house. These accounts suggest service and repair work is the stronger fit than new builds. This is a fit for Lubbock-area homeowners facing sewer line problems who want trenchless options evaluated before any digging begins. Those with slow drains, slab leaks, or gas line issues can use the same shop for diagnosis and repair. Property owners outside the city but within the 50-mile service area may find the combined supply store and service model convenient for parts and repairs together.

Gibson Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning, Inc. is a plumbing and HVAC contractor in Lubbock operating around the clock, with a supply store attached at its US-87 location. Its plumbing services include repiping of hot and cold water lines, slab leak repair, fixture and faucet work, piping and line replacement, and water heater installation including tankless units. HVAC work covers air conditioner installation and repair, plus humidifiers and filtration systems. The supply store component serves mobile home owners sourcing parts directly. Reviews describe same-day tankless water heater installations and full repiping projects completed by technicians customers call knowledgeable and efficient, with Scott Gibson named for thorough HVAC quotes. Repeat customers cite steady, professional service over multiple years. Against that record, one reviewer reported a warranty dispute in which a new air conditioner froze repeatedly over two to three years without resolution, and another described refrigerant service pricing they considered excessive. These accounts suggest outcomes can vary, particularly on warranty follow-through. Gibson fits Lubbock homeowners planning repiping, slab leak repair, or tankless water heater installation who value same-day scheduling and around-the-clock availability. Mobile home owners may use its supply store for parts alongside service. Customers considering major HVAC purchases could weigh the long-tenured customer base against the reported warranty disputes before committing.
