Best Wholesaler in Detroit for SameDay Service

Plumbers Wholesale Supply is a wholesale plumbing supply store on West Eight Mile Road in Detroit's Five Points area, serving licensed plumbers, contractors, and trade customers rather than performing service calls itself. The counter stocks water heaters and tankless water heaters, pipe, valves, fittings, plumbing fixtures, toilets, faucets, sinks, sump pumps, and garbage disposals, with brands including Sioux Chief, Oatey, Zoeller, and Canplas on the shelves. Weekday morning-to-afternoon hours position it as a trade-counter business for working contractors. Customer accounts focus on the counter experience rather than job sites: sales representatives and counter staff are consistently described as knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, and patient, helping customers find parts they searched weeks for elsewhere, suggesting forgotten items, and preparing orders quickly with help loading purchases. Reviewers report efficient service and state they return for future projects. The long-established operation carries a reputation for solid water heater pricing and a selection that covers even hard-to-find fittings for decades-old fixtures. This is a fit for Detroit-area plumbers and contractors who need wholesale parts, water heaters, and fittings with same-day counter pickup during workweek hours. Property managers and serious do-it-yourselfers sourcing parts for renovations can benefit from the staff's product knowledge and delivery options. Because it is a supply house and not a service company, customers seeking installation should pair their parts purchase with a licensed installer.

Advance Plumbing & Heating Supply is a plumbing supply store and kitchen-and-bath showroom on Parsons Street in Detroit's Cass Corridor area. The business positions itself as a single-source distributor for plumbers, builders, interior designers, kitchen and bath dealers, and the general public, carrying plumbing fixtures, tools and parts, and premium brands, and operates as a Milwaukee tool dealer with an extensive tool and part supply. Showroom displays support kitchen and bath remodel projects with professional consultants on hand. Customer accounts emphasize knowledgeable counter staff: Mitch is named for product expertise, and reviewers describe employees who anticipate the problem before the customer finishes describing it, with helpful guidance for plumbing novices. A city maintenance buyer reports purchasing materials two to three times a week as a preferred supplier. The record carries one dissenting account citing a difficult product database that complicated stock lookups, so customers with specific SKUs should bring part numbers. This is a fit for Detroit-area contractors, remodelers, and designers sourcing fixtures, tools, and parts for kitchen and bath projects, particularly those who value a showroom where they can compare premium-brand fixtures in person. Homeowners planning remodels benefit from the consultative showroom model, while professionals on tight schedules can use Saturday hours to pick up materials. Because it is a supply house rather than a service company, installation work needs a separate licensed contractor.
