13 Best HVAC contractor in Columbus for SameDay Service

Service Experts Columbus, operating locally as Stevenson Service Experts, is a plumbing, heating, and air conditioning contractor on Diplomacy Drive in Columbus's West Scioto neighborhood. Its categories span plumbing, AC contracting and repair, furnace repair, and heating contracting, with 24-hour availability. It operates as part of the national Service Experts network, serving the Columbus area as a full-service home comfort company. Review themes center on thorough, informative technicians: Robert Roquemore, Chris Merz, and Shawn Chaute are named for professional, detailed explanations, while Kenneth Wooten is credited with going beyond a filter change to inspect and clean an AC unit. One customer describes a defective tankless unit replaced the next day. The record is not spotless — some customers report rescheduling friction and complaints around financing terms, which anyone signing a payment plan should read carefully. This is a fit for Columbus homeowners who want HVAC and plumbing from one established company with round-the-clock coverage. The next-day replacement pattern suits urgent equipment failures. For customers who value detailed system explanations over a quick in-and-out visit, the technician record points in that direction.

Columbus Worthington Air is a heating and air conditioning contractor on Fiesta Drive in Columbus's Northwest neighborhood, operating as part of the ARS network of locally managed service centers. Its services cover heating and air conditioning system repairs, replacements, and maintenance, including furnaces, central AC, heat pumps, and indoor air quality equipment. The company serves homeowners across the Columbus area. Review themes center on thorough, communicative technicians: Jamie is named for texting on the way, wearing foot coverings, explaining maintenance results, and carrying the correct filter on the truck; a furnace and AC replacement was completed in one day with no disruption to the household. One edited review describes three post-install system failures, which balances the otherwise consistent record on installs and maintenance. The operation is high-volume, with multiple crews and a large customer base. This is a fit for Columbus homeowners planning a furnace or AC replacement who want a large, established operation with same-day install capacity. The maintenance-visit pattern suits households that want a yearly check handled thoroughly. For anyone scheduling during peak season, the fleet scale can mean faster availability than a small shop.

Muetzel Plumbing, Heating & Cooling is a plumbing and HVAC contractor on Kenny Road in Columbus's Olentangy West neighborhood, serving residential, commercial, and industrial customers across central Ohio. Its services span plumbing repair and installation, drain cleaning, pipe installation, gas leak repair, design-build plumbing, and heating and cooling service and installation. Emergency service runs 24/7. The review record emphasizes clean workmanship and no-pressure diagnostics: technicians lay down protective flooring and wear booties, and one customer describes a technician assessing a thermocouple issue, stating the cost up front, and recommending the customer nurse an old water heater along rather than replace it. Nick Agriesti is named for commercial HVAC work, Josh Debolt for leading an 84-unit apartment remodel, and David for explaining options with price quotes at every step. One review describes a three-week wait for a project estimate, which any project customer should weigh. The company is also a visible community presence, sponsoring youth teams and donating plumbing work to local charities. This is a fit for Columbus property owners who want plumbing and HVAC from one contractor with a record of honest, non-pushy service. The commercial and design-build capability extends the fit to contractors and property managers. For customers comparing quotes on larger projects, confirming the estimate timeline up front is the prudent move.

Atlas Butler Heating, Cooling & Plumbing is a Northland Columbus contractor on Evanswood Drive offering 24/7 HVAC and plumbing service across the Columbus area. The heating and cooling side covers furnace and air conditioning repair, installation and maintenance, duct cleaning, ductless systems and heat pumps, while the plumbing side handles water heaters, sump pumps, drain cleaning and hydrojetting. A two-hour arrival window and a no-after-hours-fees policy are central to the pitch, and a Comfort Club maintenance plan bundles ongoing service for both systems. Customers name technicians like Mike George, Brandon Chapman, Alex Lanning, Tyler Landis, Karon Williams and Kelton in their reviews, and the volume of feedback is large. Recurring themes are on-time arrivals, technicians who explain the work in plain language, and thorough cleanups afterward. NATE-certified technicians appear in the company's positioning, and the maintenance plan is aimed at homeowners who want both the furnace and the plumbing checked on a schedule rather than only when something breaks. One water-heater pricing complaint sits in the record, a reminder to confirm the quote in writing for big-ticket replacements. For the rest, the picture is of a large multi-trade operation that answers around the clock, shows up in a defined window and covers nearly the whole home comfort spectrum — heat, air, ducts, drains and hot water — under one roof.

Logan Services A/C, Heat & Plumbing is a high-volume home-services company in Columbus's Golfview Woods area on Interchange Road, covering heating, cooling and plumbing for the Columbus market. The HVAC side is the core: furnace and air conditioner installation, repair and maintenance, heat pumps and full system replacements, with NATE-certified technicians in the company's positioning. The plumbing division handles water heaters, drain work and general plumbing calls, and emergency service is offered for the failures that cannot wait for a scheduled visit. Customers name technicians like Aaron, Bobby, Kyle, Jake, David, Nicholas and Clay in their reviews, and the recurring themes are professionalism, clear communication and clean job sites. Reviews describe technicians who explain what they found, lay out the options without pressure and leave the work area tidy — the details that matter when a crew is moving a furnace or opening up plumbing in a finished home. The company's scale shows in its scheduling: same-day and next-day appointments come up often in customer accounts. For Columbus homeowners, the appeal is one large, well-staffed company for the whole home-comfort package — heat, air and plumbing — with emergency coverage and a maintenance structure behind it. The volume of reviews makes the record unusually visible, and the dominant pattern is consistent: on-time arrivals, knowledgeable techs and no-pressure estimates. For big-ticket replacements, the company's own reviews still make the case for comparing the quote in writing against the final invoice.

Evolved Services - Plumbing, Electrical, HVAC is a Columbus company on Huntley Road covering all three home-service trades from one shop. The plumbing menu includes backflow service, repiping, leak detection and repair, bathroom remodeling, emergency plumbing, toilet repair, water heater installation and drain cleaning, with the electrical and HVAC divisions handling panels, fixtures and heating and cooling work. The company lists daily hours of midnight to midnight with 24/7 emergency service, and it serves Columbus and the surrounding areas from its north-side base. Customers name technicians like Mike, Tyler and Jim in their reviews, and the praise centers on fast emergency response, fair and transparent pricing, and technicians who explain the problem before picking up the wrench. One reviewer describes a tricky root-plugged drain resolved quickly with a full explanation of what was done; another highlights a water heater replacement handled professionally from quote to cleanup. The company's positioning as a veteran-owned, locally operated shop shows up in reviews that mention the owner's follow-up on jobs. The record is not uniformly positive — one strongly negative review alleges rude staff, poor work quality and ignored complaints. That account stands apart from the broader pattern of praise for responsiveness and workmanship, but it is part of the public record. For Columbus homeowners weighing the company, the practical move is the standard one: get the quote in writing, confirm the scope before authorizing, and judge the visit on the communication the positive reviews describe.

Ohio Heating is an HVAC and plumbing contractor in Columbus's Fairgrounds neighborhood, operating as Ohio Heating & Refrigeration. Its services span air conditioning installation and repair, furnace and boiler service, heat pumps, geothermal systems, plumbing and water heaters, backflow prevention, air duct cleaning, sheet metal fabrication, and commercial refrigeration. It handles both residential and commercial customers and lists 24/7 emergency service. Review themes emphasize honest diagnostics and fair dealing: customers describe technicians replacing a hot water tank and furnace in one visit, saving a system another company said needed replacement, and getting an AC unit cooling again the same day a call was made. Technician Zac is named for explaining every step of a refrigerant service. The record skews positive on professionalism, competitive pricing, and timely arrival. This is a fit for property owners who want heating, cooling, and plumbing handled under one roof rather than coordinating separate contractors. The commercial refrigeration and building-controls expertise extends the fit to restaurants and small businesses. For Columbus residents dealing with a mid-winter furnace failure or a summer AC outage, the round-the-clock emergency availability covers the urgent cases directly.

Bassett Services: Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, & Electrical is a full-service home contractor operating from Cleveland Avenue in Columbus, serving Columbus, Westerville, Gahanna, Reynoldsburg, Dayton, Eaton, and central Ohio communities. Reviews highlight technicians Nick, Kyle Tanner, Brandon, and Bryan for camera-assisted drain diagnostics, same-day heater fixes, and clear in-home education about what was found. Customers praise prompt scheduling, clean work areas, and representatives who answer questions patiently. A kitchen leak review describes a full sink basin, fixture, and disposal replacement completed with quality parts in one visit. NATE affiliation is listed for its technical staff. This fits homeowners who prefer a single provider for heating, cooling, plumbing, and electrical, simplifying maintenance across all four trades. Same-day response on heaters and drains suits urgent situations, and the wide service footprint covers most of the Columbus metro plus Dayton. Customers comparing contractors get a corporate-scale operation with standardized scheduling and emergency dispatch.

TRANSIT & FLOW is a Columbus plumbing and HVAC company based on North High Street in the Short North, serving residential and commercial customers across the metro. Its service list spans drain cleaning, sewer inspections with camera equipment, hydro jetting, water heater services, sump pumps, leak repairs, water line repairs, air conditioning service, heating service, and emergency home service. The company advertises flat-rate pricing approved by the customer before work starts, plus free estimates, and keeps 24-hour emergency availability for plumbing and HVAC failures alike. The review record is younger and smaller than established competitors, but early themes are consistent: fast response and professionalism. One customer describes calling about a leaky outdoor spigot over a weekend and being impressed by how quickly the team responded and worked through scheduling to fit the repair in. The company's own materials stress hydro jetting and sewer cameras as diagnostic tools, which positions it for drain and sewer jobs where the cause needs to be seen before it is fixed. This is a fit for Columbus homeowners who want plumbing and HVAC under one roof — a failed furnace and a backed-up drain can go to the same dispatcher. It suits buyers who prefer approving a flat price before work begins rather than watching an hourly meter. As a newer company with a limited review trail, buyers weighing large projects may want to compare its bid against a more established shop's before committing.

The Waterworks Plumbing, Drain, Heating & Cooling is a Schrock Road company in north Columbus covering plumbing, drain cleaning, heating, and cooling for homes and businesses. Its plumbing side handles leaking or clogged pipes, interior and exterior drains, and sewer and drainage pipes. The HVAC side covers all heating systems, air conditioning, humidity control and humidifiers, and indoor air quality — making it a single-call option when a house has both a plumbing problem and a comfort problem. Same-day response is a stated operating standard. Review themes name technicians across both trades: Steve for diagnosing a problem in plain language and explaining what went wrong, Michael for thorough plumbing work that earned go-to status, and Will for a meticulous HVAC checkup that included cleaning, a future-upgrade recommendation, and thermostat verification. Customers describe fast arrivals, itemized repair-and-cost breakdowns, technicians wearing shoe protection, and checkups completed efficiently. The record skews strongly toward prompt, courteous service. This is a fit for Columbus homeowners who want one established contractor for plumbing and HVAC rather than coordinating two companies. It suits buyers who value technicians explaining diagnoses in plain terms, since that is the dominant praise theme. Maintenance-minded customers appear in the record too, making it relevant for annual checkups as well as breakdowns.
