8 Best Air conditioning repair service in Columbus for SameDay Service

Service Experts Columbus, operating locally as Stevenson Service Experts, is a plumbing, heating, and air conditioning contractor on Diplomacy Drive in Columbus's West Scioto neighborhood. Its categories span plumbing, AC contracting and repair, furnace repair, and heating contracting, with 24-hour availability. It operates as part of the national Service Experts network, serving the Columbus area as a full-service home comfort company. Review themes center on thorough, informative technicians: Robert Roquemore, Chris Merz, and Shawn Chaute are named for professional, detailed explanations, while Kenneth Wooten is credited with going beyond a filter change to inspect and clean an AC unit. One customer describes a defective tankless unit replaced the next day. The record is not spotless — some customers report rescheduling friction and complaints around financing terms, which anyone signing a payment plan should read carefully. This is a fit for Columbus homeowners who want HVAC and plumbing from one established company with round-the-clock coverage. The next-day replacement pattern suits urgent equipment failures. For customers who value detailed system explanations over a quick in-and-out visit, the technician record points in that direction.

Columbus Worthington Air is a heating and air conditioning contractor on Fiesta Drive in Columbus's Northwest neighborhood, operating as part of the ARS network of locally managed service centers. Its services cover heating and air conditioning system repairs, replacements, and maintenance, including furnaces, central AC, heat pumps, and indoor air quality equipment. The company serves homeowners across the Columbus area. Review themes center on thorough, communicative technicians: Jamie is named for texting on the way, wearing foot coverings, explaining maintenance results, and carrying the correct filter on the truck; a furnace and AC replacement was completed in one day with no disruption to the household. One edited review describes three post-install system failures, which balances the otherwise consistent record on installs and maintenance. The operation is high-volume, with multiple crews and a large customer base. This is a fit for Columbus homeowners planning a furnace or AC replacement who want a large, established operation with same-day install capacity. The maintenance-visit pattern suits households that want a yearly check handled thoroughly. For anyone scheduling during peak season, the fleet scale can mean faster availability than a small shop.

Logan Services A/C, Heat & Plumbing is a high-volume home-services company in Columbus's Golfview Woods area on Interchange Road, covering heating, cooling and plumbing for the Columbus market. The HVAC side is the core: furnace and air conditioner installation, repair and maintenance, heat pumps and full system replacements, with NATE-certified technicians in the company's positioning. The plumbing division handles water heaters, drain work and general plumbing calls, and emergency service is offered for the failures that cannot wait for a scheduled visit. Customers name technicians like Aaron, Bobby, Kyle, Jake, David, Nicholas and Clay in their reviews, and the recurring themes are professionalism, clear communication and clean job sites. Reviews describe technicians who explain what they found, lay out the options without pressure and leave the work area tidy — the details that matter when a crew is moving a furnace or opening up plumbing in a finished home. The company's scale shows in its scheduling: same-day and next-day appointments come up often in customer accounts. For Columbus homeowners, the appeal is one large, well-staffed company for the whole home-comfort package — heat, air and plumbing — with emergency coverage and a maintenance structure behind it. The volume of reviews makes the record unusually visible, and the dominant pattern is consistent: on-time arrivals, knowledgeable techs and no-pressure estimates. For big-ticket replacements, the company's own reviews still make the case for comparing the quote in writing against the final invoice.

Ohio Heating is an HVAC and plumbing contractor in Columbus's Fairgrounds neighborhood, operating as Ohio Heating & Refrigeration. Its services span air conditioning installation and repair, furnace and boiler service, heat pumps, geothermal systems, plumbing and water heaters, backflow prevention, air duct cleaning, sheet metal fabrication, and commercial refrigeration. It handles both residential and commercial customers and lists 24/7 emergency service. Review themes emphasize honest diagnostics and fair dealing: customers describe technicians replacing a hot water tank and furnace in one visit, saving a system another company said needed replacement, and getting an AC unit cooling again the same day a call was made. Technician Zac is named for explaining every step of a refrigerant service. The record skews positive on professionalism, competitive pricing, and timely arrival. This is a fit for property owners who want heating, cooling, and plumbing handled under one roof rather than coordinating separate contractors. The commercial refrigeration and building-controls expertise extends the fit to restaurants and small businesses. For Columbus residents dealing with a mid-winter furnace failure or a summer AC outage, the round-the-clock emergency availability covers the urgent cases directly.

Bassett Services: Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, & Electrical is a full-service home contractor operating from Cleveland Avenue in Columbus, serving Columbus, Westerville, Gahanna, Reynoldsburg, Dayton, Eaton, and central Ohio communities. Its plumbing trade covers water heater service, drain cleaning, leak repair, and fixture work; HVAC covers furnace repair, air conditioning installation and repair, and system maintenance; and electrical covers repairs, panel work, and generator installation. The company offers emergency services and runs 24-hour scheduling. Reviews highlight technicians Nick, Kyle Tanner, Brandon, and Bryan for camera-assisted drain diagnostics, same-day heater fixes, and clear in-home education about what was found. Customers praise prompt scheduling, clean work areas, and representatives who answer questions patiently. A kitchen leak review describes a full sink basin, fixture, and disposal replacement completed with quality parts in one visit. NATE affiliation is listed for its technical staff. This fits homeowners who prefer a single provider for heating, cooling, plumbing, and electrical, simplifying maintenance across all four trades. Same-day response on heaters and drains suits urgent situations, and the wide service footprint covers most of the Columbus metro plus Dayton. Customers comparing contractors get a corporate-scale operation with standardized scheduling and emergency dispatch.

The Waterworks Plumbing, Drain, Heating & Cooling is a Schrock Road company in north Columbus covering plumbing, drain cleaning, heating, and cooling for homes and businesses. Its plumbing side handles leaking or clogged pipes, interior and exterior drains, and sewer and drainage pipes. The HVAC side covers all heating systems, air conditioning, humidity control and humidifiers, and indoor air quality — making it a single-call option when a house has both a plumbing problem and a comfort problem. Same-day response is a stated operating standard. Review themes name technicians across both trades: Steve for diagnosing a problem in plain language and explaining what went wrong, Michael for thorough plumbing work that earned go-to status, and Will for a meticulous HVAC checkup that included cleaning, a future-upgrade recommendation, and thermostat verification. Customers describe fast arrivals, itemized repair-and-cost breakdowns, technicians wearing shoe protection, and checkups completed efficiently. The record skews strongly toward prompt, courteous service. This is a fit for Columbus homeowners who want one established contractor for plumbing and HVAC rather than coordinating two companies. It suits buyers who value technicians explaining diagnoses in plain terms, since that is the dominant praise theme. Maintenance-minded customers appear in the record too, making it relevant for annual checkups as well as breakdowns.

Apex Pros Plumbing, Electrical, Heating and Air is a multi-trade contractor headquartered on Huntley Road in north Columbus, with additional offices across Central Ohio including Dublin, Gahanna, Dayton, Newark, and Lancaster. Its service range covers plumbing, electrical, heating, and air conditioning for residential and commercial customers: wastewater pipe repair and replacement, water line work, water heater installation, faucet and fixture installs, furnace and AC service, and electrical work. Free estimates, flat-rate pricing, and 24/7 live phone answering are part of the operating model, supported by a large fleet of stocked service vehicles. Review themes name technicians across trades: John and Jeremy for a thorough wastewater pipe repair quote, Shannon for running new shower water lines with a faucet and showerhead install, Josh for a fast emergency water heater replacement, and Blake and Abdul for a hot water tank replacement that arrived ahead of the appointment window. Customers describe professional, courteous techs who take pride in the work. The recurring counter-theme is price: one reviewer admits Apex came in pricier than other estimates but chose the company anyway for promptness in an emergency. This is a fit for Central Ohio property owners who want plumbing, electrical, and HVAC under one accountable contractor, including commercial accounts needing code-compliant work. It suits emergency callers who prioritize speed and live answering over the lowest bid. Budget-conscious buyers should compare the flat-rate quote against a smaller shop's estimate, since the premium pricing theme is consistent.

Bassett Services: Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, & Electrical operates from its Arlingate Plaza location in the Golfview Woods area, bringing the company's full multi-trade coverage to Columbus's west side and the surrounding suburbs. The trade scope spans heating and cooling — furnace repair and replacement, air conditioning service, maintenance plans — alongside plumbing work like water heaters, drain cleaning and fixture repairs, plus electrical service including panel work and generators. The company lists 24/7 availability for emergencies across the Columbus, Westerville, Gahanna, Reynoldsburg, Dayton and Eaton areas. Customers name technicians like Nick for camera drain inspections, Kyle Tanner, Brandon and Bryan in their reviews, and the pattern that repeats is the one-visit fix: a tech who diagnoses on the spot, explains the options in plain terms and completes the repair the same day. NATE certification shows up in the company's technician credentials, and the electrical and generator work makes the company a fit for customers who want standby power handled by the same shop that services the furnace. For west-side homeowners, the value is coordination: one number for the AC that quits in July, the water heater that fails in December and the panel that needs attention in between. Reviews skew toward professional, thorough visits with upfront pricing discussions, which suits customers who prefer to know the cost before the work begins.
