Best Plumber in Buffalo for SameDay Service

Hertel Plumbing & Heating Co., Inc. is a plumbing and HVAC contractor at 250 Ramsdell Ave in Buffalo's Military neighborhood, operating a combined service company and walk-in hardware store. The plumbing side handles repipes — including galvanized-to-PEX-and-copper replacement — leak repairs, gas line fixes, sewer work, water heaters, and general repairs. The HVAC side covers furnaces, boilers, air conditioning, heat pumps, and ductless mini splits, with upfront pricing across both trades. The hardware store adds key cutting and supplies. Hours are Monday to Friday 8 AM to 4 PM and Saturday 9 AM to 2 PM. Reviews highlight honest scoping and careful work in older homes. One customer described a two-day basement repipe with water restored each night, praising the company for quoting only sections actually needing replacement after another plumber recommended a full tear-out. Another described a Friday-afternoon gas leak fixed late that night so a tenant could move in over the weekend. Named technicians include Victor, Kelly, Jake, Jordan, and Mike C. Kept honest: one dissatisfied customer reported a sewer repair that failed shortly after the job and poor follow-up when they called back. This is a fit for owners of older Buffalo homes needing repiping, leak, or gas work from people comfortable with aging systems, who also value the attached hardware store. Landlords facing tenant move-in deadlines may appreciate the willingness to finish urgent jobs after hours. Note the limited weekday hours and Saturday-only schedule; check emergency coverage outside those hours.

Roy's Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical is a full home-services contractor at 430 Hinman Avenue in Buffalo, covering plumbing, heating, cooling, and electrical work. The company operates around the clock, offering 24/7 service across all four trades. Its scope spans plumbing inspections, water heater installation including tankless systems, pipe repairs, furnace and boiler service, air conditioning repair, and electrical work such as whole-home rewiring. Review themes highlight named technicians and thorough explanations. Josh Butry appears repeatedly for leak repairs, water filter advice, and tankless-system walkthroughs; Tom Olson is praised for running a water line and installing gas dryers and stoves; Christian, Jim McNeill, and Steve Martin are also named for clear communication and clean work. Customers describe same-day response, including an air conditioner repaired the day it was called in and a pipe repair dispatched the same morning. One honest negative: a reviewer felt the price was high for a minor shower cartridge repair even though the work itself earned full marks. This is a fit for Buffalo-area homeowners who want one contractor covering plumbing, HVAC, and electrical rather than coordinating separate trades. The named-technician record suits customers planning larger projects like tankless water heater installs, rewiring, or gas appliance hookups. For urgent faults, the documented same-day dispatch and 24/7 hours address the most time-sensitive needs directly.
