8 Best HVAC contractor in Buffalo for SameDay Service

Animo Plumbing is a Buffalo-based contractor offering plumbing and HVAC services, headquartered at 3975 Main Street. The company describes itself as available for any plumbing emergency and operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Its listed trade categories span plumbing, air conditioning installation and repair, and heating and furnace services, positioning it as a combined plumbing-and-HVAC outfit serving the greater Buffalo area. Public review material for the company is limited, so no consistent themes around specific technicians, pricing, or scheduling could be confirmed. What is documented is the company's around-the-clock emergency posture and its dual plumbing-and-HVAC scope: plumbing emergencies can be routed to the company at any hour, and heating or cooling faults can be handled by the same provider. This is a fit for Buffalo homeowners who want one provider covering both plumbing and HVAC emergencies without shopping two trades. The 24/7 posture makes it relevant for after-hours failures such as burst pipes, failed furnaces, or air conditioning breakdowns in summer. Customers who value a single point of contact across home systems may find the combined scope convenient.

Roy's Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical is a full home-services contractor at 430 Hinman Avenue in Buffalo, covering plumbing, heating, cooling, and electrical work. The company operates around the clock, offering 24/7 service across all four trades. Its scope spans plumbing inspections, water heater installation including tankless systems, pipe repairs, furnace and boiler service, air conditioning repair, and electrical work such as whole-home rewiring. Review themes highlight named technicians and thorough explanations. Josh Butry appears repeatedly for leak repairs, water filter advice, and tankless-system walkthroughs; Tom Olson is praised for running a water line and installing gas dryers and stoves; Christian, Jim McNeill, and Steve Martin are also named for clear communication and clean work. Customers describe same-day response, including an air conditioner repaired the day it was called in and a pipe repair dispatched the same morning. One honest negative: a reviewer felt the price was high for a minor shower cartridge repair even though the work itself earned full marks. This is a fit for Buffalo-area homeowners who want one contractor covering plumbing, HVAC, and electrical rather than coordinating separate trades. The named-technician record suits customers planning larger projects like tankless water heater installs, rewiring, or gas appliance hookups. For urgent faults, the documented same-day dispatch and 24/7 hours address the most time-sensitive needs directly.

Zenner & Ritter Home Services is a long-standing Buffalo home-services company based at 3404 Bailey Ave in the LaSalle neighborhood, combining plumbing, heating, cooling, generator systems, and duct cleaning under one roof. Plumbing work covers water heaters and tankless units, sewer cleanouts, sinks, faucets, and toilets; the HVAC side handles boilers, forced-air systems, and air conditioning; and the company also installs and services automatic standby generators, plus air duct cleaning, water treatment, and radon testing. Emergency service is advertised as available around the clock. Customers consistently describe quick emergency response and knowledgeable technicians. One account described a hot water tank breaking at midnight, with technician RayShawn arriving the next morning, explaining the options, and finishing the replacement within the hour. Another described a gas line installed the day after the estimate, with the crew respectful of the property. Named technicians include Eli, Dominick, Tim, Kevin, and Earl, and scheduler Erica is noted for friendly, efficient booking. Several reviewers mention a texted photo and arrival time for their technician. This is a fit for homeowners who want a single company covering the full mechanical picture of a house — heat, cooling, plumbing, and backup power — rather than separate specialists. The generator business makes it especially relevant for customers concerned about winter outages, and the emergency line suits no-heat and no-hot-water situations. For homeowners planning larger projects like boiler replacements or whole-home generator installs, the free project estimates and deep bench of technicians provide a structured, low-pressure starting point.

Hertel Plumbing & Heating Co., Inc. is a plumbing and HVAC contractor at 250 Ramsdell Ave in Buffalo's Military neighborhood, operating a combined service company and walk-in hardware store. The plumbing side handles repipes — including galvanized-to-PEX-and-copper replacement — leak repairs, gas line fixes, sewer work, water heaters, and general repairs. The HVAC side covers furnaces, boilers, air conditioning, heat pumps, and ductless mini splits, with upfront pricing across both trades. The hardware store adds key cutting and supplies. Hours are Monday to Friday 8 AM to 4 PM and Saturday 9 AM to 2 PM. Reviews highlight honest scoping and careful work in older homes. One customer described a two-day basement repipe with water restored each night, praising the company for quoting only sections actually needing replacement after another plumber recommended a full tear-out. Another described a Friday-afternoon gas leak fixed late that night so a tenant could move in over the weekend. Named technicians include Victor, Kelly, Jake, Jordan, and Mike C. Kept honest: one dissatisfied customer reported a sewer repair that failed shortly after the job and poor follow-up when they called back. This is a fit for owners of older Buffalo homes needing repiping, leak, or gas work from people comfortable with aging systems, who also value the attached hardware store. Landlords facing tenant move-in deadlines may appreciate the willingness to finish urgent jobs after hours. Note the limited weekday hours and Saturday-only schedule; check emergency coverage outside those hours.

The company lists licensed master plumber, contractor, and HVAC technician credentials. Listed hours run round the clock Monday through Saturday, with Sunday closed. Customers describe fast, knowledgeable visits and quotes that hold. Technician John is named across accounts for diagnosing pipe breaks accurately, finishing within the promised time, and leaving clean work areas without exceeding the quoted price. Office contact Renee is praised for guiding a customer through a no-heat ordeal during scheduling. Other accounts mention same-day visits for plumbing issues, a father-and-son tech pair answering questions during a heater repair, and new furnace installations completed to the customer's satisfaction. This is a fit for homeowners who want to consolidate trades — plumbing, HVAC, flooring, and gutters — with one company instead of coordinating separate contractors. The combination of drain and sewer diagnostics with exterior gutter work suits customers dealing with water problems that span inside and outside the house. For Black Rock and North Buffalo residents, the local base and Saturday round-the-clock availability make it practical for urgent issues that land on the weekend.

Named technicians include Ben for main sewer line snaking, Jason for thermostat work, Mike M for fast emergency repairs, and Logan for furnace tune-ups. Customers describe texted arrival updates with technician photos and work priced below competing quotes. Round-the-clock availability suits emergencies like burst pipes, failed furnaces, or backed-up sewers. The Western New York footprint also makes it practical for investment property owners who need a sewer or water heater job diagnosed and completed without being on site.

Separate plumbing and electrical departments handle both small and large jobs, including HVAC upgrades, energy-efficient water heaters, kitchen remodel work, backflow preventer installation, and attic ventilation. Customer accounts describe technicians as professional and flexible — one reviewer credits Matt and his crew for electrical and repair work completed within budget with steady updates. Another reports a problem found and corrected quickly. The tone of the record is budget-conscious and communicative rather than premium. This is a fit for Buffalo homeowners wanting one contractor for interconnected home systems — a radiant floor project that also touches plumbing and electrical, or a heating upgrade paired with water heater replacement. Small jobs are accepted alongside larger installs. Buyers can request a free estimate; the shop suits those who value a single point of accountability across trades rather than coordinating separate plumbers and electricians.
