Best HVAC contractor in Boise for SameDay Service

Drake Mechanical | HVAC & Plumbing Services is a combined plumbing and heating-and-cooling contractor in Boise, at 5551 W Gowen Rd, serving the Treasure Valley. Its plumbing work covers water heater installation and repair, drain cleaning, well pumps, gas piping, water softeners, and leak detection, while the HVAC side covers furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, ductwork, and indoor air quality products. The company keeps a preventative maintenance program and advertises 24/7 live customer service. Reviewers describe technicians arriving quickly for urgent calls — Greg stayed from late evening into the early morning hours to clear a flooded apartment building on New Year's Eve, and a same-day water heater dispatch saved a business owner from a full replacement. Technicians named in reviews include Ben, John, Braulio, Trevor, and Nathan, with customers describing thorough inspections and explanations of options before work begins. A few reviews describe uneven follow-through, including one account of a maintenance visit ending in a disputed repair recommendation. This is a fit for homeowners who want one contractor covering plumbing, heating, air conditioning, boilers, and gas piping rather than managing separate trades. It suits property managers and apartment complexes dealing with after-hours emergencies, given the documented overnight response, and households comparing furnace or water heater options who want each alternative explained before authorizing the work.
