Customers describe a full Goodman system install with excellent duct work completed the same day by Rob's team, and a two-furnace, two-heat-pump, plus mini-split install handled with professionalism. Recurring themes are fair pricing without upselling, prompt return calls, and honest second opinions that found a smaller fix where another company had quoted a full replacement. This is a fit for Boise-area homeowners who want a locally owned HVAC company for furnace, heat pump, and air conditioning work with straightforward pricing. Households on a maintenance plan can use scheduled visits for furnaces and AC units to avoid emergency calls. Snowflake Air is a heating and cooling contractor based in Boise, Idaho, at 6037 W Franklin St, serving the Treasure Valley. The company specializes in ductless mini-split systems as a Mitsubishi Diamond Contractor, handling installation, repair, and cleaning of ductless units alongside conventional furnace and air conditioner maintenance, repairs, and replacements. Its plumbing-side work covers drain and sewer cleaning. A standing 'Worry-Free Filter Program' delivers replacement air filters to customers' doors on schedule, taking routine filter changes off the homeowner's list. Reviewers repeatedly highlight responsiveness in cold-weather emergencies: one customer reported that owner Jose Aguilar arrived within three hours on a snowy day when a furnace quit. Technicians Arturo and Jake are named for polite, efficient service, particularly on mini-split cleanings and furnace repairs. Pricing comes up often, with customers describing fair quotes and one detail-oriented reviewer noting Snowflake's bid came in well below competitors while beating them on technical knowledge. Customers say they leave jobs feeling informed about what was done and why. This is a fit for Treasure Valley homeowners adding or servicing a ductless system — especially Samsung or Mitsubishi units — and for anyone whose furnace fails during an Idaho winter and needs a fast response. Saturday hours, 7 AM to 7 PM, make it practical for weekday workers. Households that want a maintenance plan rather than one-off repairs can enroll in the filter program and scheduled tune-ups, keeping heating and cooling equipment serviced year-round.

Drake Mechanical | HVAC & Plumbing Services is a combined plumbing and heating-and-cooling contractor in Boise, at 5551 W Gowen Rd, serving the Treasure Valley. Its plumbing work covers water heater installation and repair, drain cleaning, well pumps, gas piping, water softeners, and leak detection, while the HVAC side covers furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, ductwork, and indoor air quality products. The company keeps a preventative maintenance program and advertises 24/7 live customer service. Reviewers describe technicians arriving quickly for urgent calls — Greg stayed from late evening into the early morning hours to clear a flooded apartment building on New Year's Eve, and a same-day water heater dispatch saved a business owner from a full replacement. Technicians named in reviews include Ben, John, Braulio, Trevor, and Nathan, with customers describing thorough inspections and explanations of options before work begins. A few reviews describe uneven follow-through, including one account of a maintenance visit ending in a disputed repair recommendation. This is a fit for homeowners who want one contractor covering plumbing, heating, air conditioning, boilers, and gas piping rather than managing separate trades. It suits property managers and apartment complexes dealing with after-hours emergencies, given the documented overnight response, and households comparing furnace or water heater options who want each alternative explained before authorizing the work.

Customers say technicians talk them through systems they previously knew nothing about. This is a fit for homeowners who want one company across plumbing, heating, and cooling — particularly first-time HVAC buyers who value education during the visit. Right Now Heating and Air Conditioning is a Boise HVAC company whose trade mix also covers plumbing and electrical work. Its core services center on heating and cooling: furnace service, tune-ups, and replacement; air conditioner repair and replacement; and full system installations, alongside plumbing repairs and electrical services. The company is listed as open 24 hours and presents itself as a large, full-service contractor for the Boise area. The review record names technicians Mathew, Josh, Zurbie, Mike, Jason, Manny D, and Chase Christensen. Positive themes include punctual arrivals, technicians explaining their work step by step, quick scheduling, and successful repairs that customers describe as worth the money. The record is mixed, though: some reviewers describe estimates arriving far above competing quotes, with a price-match offer appearing only after a lower bid surfaced, and express frustration over warranty coverage and follow-through on recent installations. Others report smooth, professional visits throughout. This is a fit for homeowners needing heating or cooling repair or replacement who plan to compare estimates from more than one company. People who value a single contractor for HVAC, plumbing, and electrical work may appreciate the combined trade coverage, while the mixed review record suggests asking pointed questions about scope, warranty, and follow-up before committing.

The review themes also highlight specialty installs — 200-amp panel replacements, hot tub electrical circuits, and home EV chargers — alongside thorough whole-home electrical inspections where problems get traced to the source. This is a fit for homeowners who want one accountable company for electrical, plumbing, and HVAC work instead of juggling three contractors. It particularly suits buyers of EV chargers, panel upgrades, or hot tub hookups who need the electrical side done to code, and landlords managing rentals across trades. Households planning larger projects — service upgrades paired with plumbing remodels — can benefit from the single-scheduling, stocked-van model that reviews describe.

Named technicians include Jonathan, noted for a same-day toilet repair at a rental home; Mark, praised for clearing a mainline blockage quickly with a friendly helper; and Chris, who fixed a kitchen sink leak within an hour. A recurring theme is straightforward explanations of the work and its cost, with no pressure tactics. The company's own listings emphasize licensed, insured technicians and moderately priced service. This is a fit for Treasure Valley homeowners who want one contractor for plumbing, heating, cooling, and electrical issues instead of coordinating separate trades. It also suits property managers and commercial clients overseeing buildings with rooftop units, split systems, and complex mechanical portfolios. Anyone facing a combined failure, such as a water heater problem alongside HVAC trouble, could resolve both with a single call.

Review themes highlight technicians explaining equipment and findings in detail: customers name Luke, Derrick, Lucas, Josh, Kyle, and Tyler across heating, cooling, and plumbing visits. Reviews mention careful walkthroughs of furnace and system components, photos documenting work performed, and prompt responses to heating concerns. The company also offers a maintenance plan with scheduled seasonal inspections, which several customers describe joining after a first visit. This is a fit for Boise homeowners who want one service company covering both HVAC and plumbing, avoiding the need to coordinate separate trades.
