Best Repair service in Berkeley for SameDay Service

One Step Plumbing is a Berkeley plumbing contractor based on 67th Street in Southwest Berkeley, handling residential, commercial, and industrial work. Its listed services cover trenchless sewer installation, pipe repair and installation, drain cleaning and repair, garbage disposal installation, faucet and fixture work, water heater installation (including tankless units), gas lines, earthquake shut-off valves, septic service, and grease trap cleaning. It also takes on complete kitchen and bathroom remodels and offers 24-hour emergency plumbing. Reviews repeatedly name one technician, Leonard, and describe a consistent pattern: careful diagnosis before recommending replacement, clear explanations, and work in difficult locations. One reviewer describes Leonard spending time trying to repair a sewage ejector pump to save money before replacing it; another describes a hot water heater replaced in a challenging location at a reasonable price. Garvey is named for a same-day tub leak repair, with parts on hand. Reviewers mention fair pricing and evening availability. One older review describes a recommendation to replace a nearly new water heater rather than repair the pilot light — a reminder that quotes on big-ticket replacements deserve a second opinion. This is a fit for Berkeley and East Bay homeowners dealing with sewer lines, ejector pumps, tankless water heaters, or earthquake valves who want a contractor that diagnoses before defaulting to replacement. Property managers may find the commercial coverage, grease trap cleaning, and remodel capability useful for multi-unit work. The extended evening hours suit people who need service after work, and the 24-hour emergency positioning covers sudden failures.
