The mechanical side covers heating and air conditioning equipment installation and replacement. Emergency service runs around the clock. Technician Stephen is named in customer feedback for showing up early, listening to the customer's read of the problem, and communicating his findings clearly. Review themes include consistent, experienced technicians rather than rotating crews, upfront pricing, code-compliant workmanship, and attention to safety on gas and water heater jobs. Customers highlight the family-run feel and dependable scheduling. This is a fit for homeowners who need both plumbing and HVAC under one roof, for example a water heater replacement alongside an air conditioning issue. McBee Sr. and Jr. The company covers residential and commercial plumbing — repairs, installations, remodeling projects, and plumbing for new homes and additions — alongside heating and air conditioning installation, repair, and maintenance. Its specialties include sheet metal fabrication and erection, gas piping, refrigeration, hydronic and radiant piping, and control wiring, and it offers preventative maintenance agreements for homes and businesses. On the commercial side, Best Mechanical handles tenant fit-outs, restaurant and kitchen work, new commercial facilities, and design-and-build projects from bidding through on-time completion. Its service territory spans Baltimore plus Towson, Dundalk, Pikesville, Timonium, Cockeysville, Owings Mills, Rosedale, Parkville, and Perry Hall. For homeowners and property managers, the firm also promotes same-day service scheduling for plumbing and HVAC needs. Review themes point to clear communication on estimates, skilled ductwork and heat pump work, and responsiveness when systems fail under time pressure. Best Mechanical is a fit for customers who want a single contractor handling plumbing, heating, and cooling across a residential or commercial property.

Abend Services is a plumbing and heating contractor at 407 Bon Air Ave in Baltimore, handling both plumbing and HVAC work. Its plumbing menu is unusually broad: leaky faucet, toilet, and pipe repair, garbage disposals, sump pumps, sewage ejector pits, laundry tubs, gas line installation and repair, tankless water heaters, well systems and well pumps, clogged drains and sewer lines, video pipe inspection, whole-house repiping, water leak detection, hose bibs, and flooded basement work. HVAC upgrades, heat pumps, and energy-efficient water heaters round out the offering. Emergency service runs around the clock. Reviewers describe same-night and even 30-minute arrivals, with technicians Dave and Ritchie and coordinator Katie named for clear communication, detailed explanations, and work areas left cleaner than found. Well system work and old-house plumbing come up repeatedly, including pressure switch and bladder tank replacements. One record describes a flat-rate pricing dispute, though the company responded that the price was agreed up front, so confirming the written quote before work starts is the lesson. This fits Baltimore homeowners with older houses, crawlspaces, and well systems who need a company comfortable with difficult access. Same-day and late-night breakdowns are the sweet spot. Anyone with a bigger HVAC-plus-plumbing project gets one contractor for both.

Amazing Plumbing, Heating & Air is a combined plumbing and HVAC company at 2630 Georgetown Rd in Morrell Park, serving Baltimore City and Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Harford, Howard, Montgomery, and Prince George's counties plus Annapolis. The HVAC side dominates: ductless systems, gas and oil furnaces, heat pumps, air conditioners, hot water and steam boilers, geothermal systems, air cleaners and purifiers, humidifiers, and dehumidifiers. Its plumbing work covers fixture repair and replacement, water heaters, water and gas line repair and installation, well systems, water treatment and filtration, and drain cleaning and inspection. Reviewers name sales rep Greg for thorough measurements and plain-terms explanations, and installers Austin, Jamal, and Mike for professional, prompt work. The company offers free second opinions on other companies' repair quotes and runs a Comfort Club maintenance membership with seasonal tune-ups and priority scheduling. Financing through a third-party lender is available on qualifying installations. This fits homeowners bundling an HVAC replacement with plumbing work, who benefit from one contractor and one financing path. Boiler and ductless system buyers get specialist depth. Anyone with a big quote from another company can use the free second opinion before committing.

Free Da Block Drain Cleaning Services, LLC, is a drain cleaning and plumbing company at 5129 Chalgrove Ave in Baltimore's Central Park Heights neighborhood. The company offers 24-hour emergency service and serves both residential and commercial customers. The public record is modest but positive: Michael is named on Thumbtack for a Saturday-evening emergency on a broken HVAC condensation drain pipe, assessed and completed within an hour, and testimonials describe diligent appliance installs and prompt service with cleanup afterward. The company frames itself on punctuality and affordability. This fits northwest Baltimore homeowners and renters facing a drain backup or emergency leak who want a local, responsive crew rather than a large franchise. The combined plumbing-plus-HVAC coverage suits properties with both systems aging. Commercial clients get the same emergency availability.

A.J. Michaels is a heating, cooling, and plumbing contractor at 4512 York Rd in Baltimore, tracing its history to 1978. Its listed trades span air conditioning, heating, plumbing, and home performance work, including furnace and boiler replacement, heat pumps, water heater installation, drain work, plumbing inspection, and repairs, with emergency service offered around the clock. The company positions itself on doing all work in-house with no subcontractors, with a degreed engineer inspecting completed jobs. Reviewers name Brian for quick, clean water heater installs, Annie C. for courteous scheduling, and Craig, Jason, Corey, and Danny for thorough HVAC estimates and on-time, on-budget installs. Against the positives, one record describes a drain charge disputed for lack of price confirmation, so asking for the price before authorizing work is the lesson. This fits Baltimore homeowners and rental-property owners who want a single contractor for both HVAC and plumbing. Water heater and furnace replacements are recurring strengths. The 1978 history is a longevity signal, though the mixed record makes written estimates the practical habit.

Abbott Brothers Plumbing & Heating of Maryland is a family-run plumbing and heating contractor in Baltimore's Hampden neighborhood. Its listed work spans drain cleaning, water heater installation and replacement, new gas piping, water service line replacements, full sewer line replacements, and boiler installations. The company serves Baltimore and surrounding suburbs, answers emergency calls around the clock, and offers free estimates on large jobs with a one-year warranty. Reviewers describe fast turnarounds: one customer called after 6 p.m. on a Friday with technicians on site Saturday morning, and names Mike, Paul, and Dawn for clear communication, knowledgeable work, and tidy cleanup. Customers note fair pricing, quick estimates measured in minutes, and a crew that persisted through a difficult water-line pull rather than cutting extra trenching. Flexible payment arrangements through the owner come up as a plus for larger projects. This is a fit for homeowners comparing quotes on sewer or water service line replacements who want the scope explained before work starts. Water heater and boiler replacement customers report estimates the same day and installs as early as the next morning. Baltimore city and county residents looking for a smaller family-run shop rather than a national franchise will find the profile matches that need.

Michael & Son Services is a large home-services company at 6420 Erdman Ave covering plumbing, electrical, heating, air conditioning, remodeling, and restoration across the Baltimore region. Its plumbing work includes water heater repair and replacement, sewer main clearing, drain and blockage clearing, leak repair, and general plumbing repairs, while the same company installs and services HVAC and electrical systems. Reviewers name technicians Elijah, Trey, Adam White, Abdul, Sherman, and Caleb Harper for thorough troubleshooting, clear explanations of the work ahead, and careful cleanup on messy jobs. Water heater replacements and emergency leak fixes get same-day visits. The record is mixed on the HVAC side, where some customers describe unclear tune-up inclusions or missing follow-ups, so getting the scope in writing is the practical lesson. This suits homeowners who want one company for plumbing plus HVAC and electrical, especially landlords managing multi-trade problems. Buyers comparing water heater quotes can expect same-day or next-day availability. Those scheduling HVAC maintenance should confirm exactly what the visit includes before the technician arrives.

SJT Plumbing & HVAC is a locally owned plumbing, gas fitting, and HVAC company at 1232 Scott St in Baltimore's Pigtown neighborhood. Its listed services cover gas piping repairs and installation, water heater repairs and replacements, HVAC repair and installation, and sewer and water line replacement. The company focuses on residential and light commercial work, and its HVAC side won the Baltimore Magazine 2022 Best of Baltimore readers' poll. Reviewers describe strikingly fast turnarounds: one customer reached out on a Wednesday and had gas pipes rerouted behind a new range by Thursday lunch, with the crew also checking a furnace that had trouble restarting. Themes include reasonable pricing, clean work, and a hands-on owner who treats employees well. Office manager Miranda Dull is named in the company's own community profile. This fits South Baltimore and Pigtown-area homeowners who want a local shop rather than a franchise, especially for gas piping and appliance-related plumbing. Buyers planning HVAC replacements get an award-recognized installer. The residential-plus-light-commercial focus suits small business owners with shopfront or office plumbing needs too.
