Best Plumber in Bakersfield for SameDay Service

Slater Plumbing & Mechanical is a Bakersfield plumbing and mechanical contractor serving all of Kern County and surrounding areas, operating under the motto that large or small, it services it all. Its listed offerings span structural welding, industrial plumbing, hydro jetting, residential plumbing, and commercial plumbing, with a stated focus on commercial and industrial clients including processing plants, factories, hotels, restaurants, and management companies. Listed services also cover water heater installation, toilet repair, line location, leak detection, drain cleaning, and general pipe repair. Review themes point to professional, timely, and knowledgeable technicians: Carlos G. is named for fixing a customer's plumbing issues in a timely, professional, and honest manner, and Laurie Rankins is thanked for service described as professional and timely, with the customer planning to call again for future work. One reviewer described the work as very knowledgeable but noted it was expensive — a candid signal that this shop prices at the professional end. The company advertises 24/7 emergency service alongside scheduled appointments. This fits commercial and industrial customers — plants, hospitality, property management — that need a licensed, insured contractor with industrial capability like structural welding and hydro jetting. For residential customers in Kern County, it suits complex or urgent plumbing work where professionalism and 24/7 emergency availability matter more than the lowest bid.

Forward Bound Plumbing is a Bakersfield plumbing contractor serving both residential and commercial customers, with same-day service positioned as a core offering. Its residential catalog covers drain services, gas lines, water heater maintenance, repair, and installation, hydro jetting, plumbing maintenance plans, and trenchless pipe bursting for underground line repairs without digging up the yard. The commercial side focuses on efficient drain services and prompt service calls meant to minimize business disruption. Review themes name technicians Chris, Devin, Bryant, and Josh Coleman: Chris is described as quick and knowledgeable, Devin and Bryant as professional and timely on toilet and drainage problems, and Josh as skilled with bathroom work. Customers mention jobs finished faster than expected, bills lower than feared, and clear explanations of what was done. The company shows particular familiarity with Kern County hard-water issues and local building code compliance. This is a fit for Bakersfield homeowners facing persistent hard-water problems or slow drains who want a contractor that also handles code compliance and water heater upkeep. Businesses dealing with drain issues that threaten operations could find the commercial service relevant. The same-day positioning suits urgent situations, while the maintenance plans offer an option for preventive care.
