5 Best HVAC contractor in Wichita for SameDay Service

Fahnestock Plumbing, HVAC & Electric is a full-service plumbing, heating, air conditioning, and electrical contractor at 3532 N Comotara St in Wichita. Its offerings include energy-efficiency improvements, comprehensive maintenance plans, radiant heating products, geothermal system installation, and electrical repair and wiring. The company serves residential and commercial customers, with most work performed within a 50-mile radius of Wichita. Reviews point to fast emergency response and clear communication. Technician Jeremy is named for an emergency call about a clogged sink where he discovered a broken, leaking basement pipe and handled both problems. Other reviewers describe weekend furnace calls, technicians who explain each step -- Dylan is named for patient explanations -- and installations of new furnaces and air conditioners that run quietly. The team includes NATE-certified comfort professionals. This is a fit for homeowners planning larger comfort-system projects -- geothermal installs, radiant heating, or full furnace and AC replacements -- who want one company to design and maintain the system. The maintenance-plan offering suits buyers who want scheduled upkeep rather than one-off repairs. For northeast Wichita and nearby suburbs, the Comotara Street location keeps dispatch distances short.

Action! Heating / Cooling Plumbing is a multi-trade contractor in Wichita combining plumbing with heating and cooling. The HVAC side covers installation, repair, and maintenance of furnaces, air conditioners, and mini splits for residential, commercial, and industrial clients, while the plumbing side handles drain clogs, fixture replacement, and repairs such as bathtub valve replacement. It advertises emergency service around the clock, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Reviews center on fast response and follow-through. One reviewer describes calling in the evening about a failed air conditioner, getting a technician out the next day for diagnosis, and having cold air restored two days after the first call, with Michael and Max named on the job. Another describes a clogged bathroom drain cleared the same day by Alex and Larry with almost no mess left behind. Johnny and Larry are named for a bathtub valve and fixture installation that ran into obstacles but was finished completely. A repeat customer notes the company answers the phone directly and schedules quickly. This is a fit for homeowners and property managers who want one contractor covering both plumbing and HVAC -- an apartment community in Andover reportedly calls on the company for drain clogs, and a barbershop for a mini split install, which points to commercial accounts as well as homes. The round-the-clock emergency posture makes it a candidate for after-hours breakdowns on either trade. Callers describing the problem clearly and asking for a written scope tend to get the smoothest experience.

Frederick Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning is a Wichita plumbing, heating, and air conditioning contractor based on North Main Street that handles all three trades for homes and businesses across the city. Its plumbers cover emergency repairs, pipe and drain work, water heater service, and appliance hookups, while its HVAC side repairs furnaces and air conditioners, installs replacement systems, and tunes up heating and cooling equipment. The company also installs indoor air cleaner systems and offers a yearly service agreement for maintaining HVAC equipment. Its around-the-clock schedule makes it a practical option for urgent breakdowns, with technicians responding at night and on weekends rather than leaving customers to wait until morning. Customer feedback describes courteous, professional staff who schedule quickly, arrive promptly, and clean up after the work is done, including multi-day furnace and compressor replacements where the owner consulted directly beforehand. One reviewer objected to an after-hours service charge that pushed the final bill far higher than expected, a reminder to confirm overtime pricing before booking a night call. Frederick suits homeowners who want one company covering plumbing and HVAC together, especially during heating-season failures or midsummer air conditioning outages. Customers who value careful, consultative installation work report strong experiences with full system replacements.

Comfort Systems is a mechanical contractor on South West Street in Wichita covering plumbing, heating, and air conditioning for residential and commercial customers. Its plumbing work includes repairs and installations; its HVAC work covers air conditioning installation and repair, gas furnace repairs, ductwork repair, and electric heating system repairs. The company also installs geothermal heat pumps, solar systems, and radiant floor heating, and runs a locally based home warranty program. Emergency service for heating, cooling, and plumbing runs around the clock. Review themes center on fast response and long-term use: same-day visits, punctual arrivals, and clean jobs. Mark is the most frequently named technician, noted for explaining repairs in plain terms, servicing Navien equipment annually, and advising an older home on freeze prevention. Several customers describe relationships spanning more than two decades, with planned maintenance contracts covering both HVAC and plumbing. Technicians are described as respectful, professional, and thorough. This is a fit for Wichita homeowners who want one contractor for plumbing and HVAC instead of coordinating separate trades. Houses with geothermal heat pumps or radiant floor heating will find that capability harder to source locally. For property managers and small businesses, planned maintenance agreements plus round-the-clock emergency coverage make it a workable long-term partner.

Dan's Heating and Cooling is an HVAC-first contractor based on North New York Avenue in Wichita, with plumbing as a secondary offering. Its core work is heating and cooling: air conditioner installation and repair, furnace installation and service, heat pumps, air cleaners, thermostats, and humidifiers, plus service contracts and maintenance plans. It is listed as a Trane dealer, and its plumbing services include water heater installation — such as tankless-to-tank conversions — and plumbing pipe repairs. Customer reviews describe a consultative, no-pressure approach: one customer noted that Earl provided a detailed quote and answered every question without pushing an immediate decision, while another credited James with diagnosing a thermostat issue after installation and resolving it. Install crews are described as polite and efficient, cleaning up debris and leaving systems running correctly, with portable cooling units supplied while a replacement was completed. Financing options and regular maintenance plans are part of the offering. Dan's suits homeowners replacing or maintaining heating and cooling systems, particularly those who want an established local HVAC company that can also handle connected plumbing work like water heaters. Customers with failing furnaces or air conditioners may benefit from maintenance plans that reviewers say caught problems before breakdowns.
