Best Electrician in West Orange for SameDay Service

MDL Electric Cooling & Heating is an electrical and HVAC contractor based in West Orange, New Jersey, combining electrician services with heating and cooling work. Its electrical side covers panel and wiring upgrades, complete electrical renovations, and updating older homes wired with knob-and-tube, while the HVAC side handles air conditioning installation and repair, central and ductless systems, heating and furnace service, whole-house fans, radiant floor, and energy-efficient upgrades. Generator installation, service, and maintenance form a third pillar of the business. Reviews repeatedly name owner Miguel, credited with whole-house generator installations and staying available afterward for questions and maintenance, and technician Issac, praised for punctual generator servicing. Themes include showing up on time when other contractors do not, fair pricing without upselling, and careful explanations of the work. One strongly negative reviewer reported paying a deposit for a job that was never completed, describing repeated no-shows and excuses, a serious complaint that stands against an otherwise positive pattern. This is a fit for homeowners who want electrical and HVAC work handled by one contractor, especially those installing standby generators or modernizing aging electrical systems. The combination of generator service and full electrical renovations suits northern New Jersey homeowners preparing for outages or upgrading old wiring. Its weekday-plus-Saturday availability makes it an option for urgent electrical or cooling failures as well as planned projects.
