Best Bathroom remodeler in Virginia Beach for SameDay Service

Virginia Shower & Bath is a bathroom-only remodeling company in Virginia Beach focused on showers and baths: walk-in showers, shower enclosures with sliding glass doors, walk-in tubs, and tub-to-shower conversions. Installations are typically completed in one to two days, with products custom-sized to the existing space. Its listings also mention laundry room renovation as an additional service. The company emphasizes custom-made products and certified installation specialists rather than general contracting. Reviews praise installation crews by name — Tez, Jorge, Evan, and Jose — for punctuality, politeness, walking customers through the process, and cleaning up between and after jobs. One customer describes a two-day walk-in shower installation with careful cleanup; another calls the finished shower beautiful and says the crew took time to do it right. Criticism exists: some reviewers report long waits and repeated unreturned calls when seeking warranty service after the company changed over to Hansons, and one describes shower fixtures corroding and recaulking molding within a year. This is a fit for Virginia Beach homeowners who want a fast bathroom refresh — a new walk-in shower, tub conversion, or fixture upgrade — without a weeks-long gut renovation. The one-to-two-day install timeline suits busy households that cannot spare the bathroom for long. Customers who value responsive post-installation warranty support should clarify how service requests are handled under the current ownership before signing, given the complaints in the review record.

The John Doctor is a small residential plumbing outfit in Virginia Beach led by John, specializing in water and drain leaks including under-slab and crawl-space work, plus drain pipe replacement. Documented jobs include replacing a roughly fifty-foot cast iron kitchen drain line with transparent quoting and thorough under-house documentation, clearing clogs beneath the house, replacing full runs of old drain pipe, and complete bathroom remodeling. The company operates seven days a week, 8 AM to 8 PM, and accepts both credit cards and cryptocurrency. Reviews revolve around honesty and fair pricing: one customer showed John their cards about a suspected major bathroom problem and was told it was fine as it was, and another credits a same-day visit that fixed a garage leak quickly at a reasonable price. John's small crew is described as prompt, professional, and communicative. Customers say they were won over by straightforward quotes, with one noting the best price among competing bids on a cast iron replacement, and several describe returning for additional jobs after a good first experience. This is a fit for Virginia Beach homeowners who want a small, owner-led crew for leak diagnostics, drain and cast iron pipe work, or bathroom remodels, and who value being talked out of unnecessary work as much as the work itself. The daily 8-to-8 schedule and same-day responsiveness suit urgent calls that cannot wait for a weekday appointment. Customers comparing bids on large drain jobs can expect a competitive quote and a photo-backed, well-documented process.
