Best Plumber in Suffolk for SameDay Service

Lanthorn Plumbing is a Suffolk plumbing company handling residential, commercial, municipal, and industrial work. Its services cover general plumbing repairs, water heater installation and repair including tankless exterior natural gas units, drain cleaning, video pipe inspections, leak detection, backflow preventer testing, sewer laterals, sewer pump stations, and sump pumps. It also lists electrical repairs and installations, gas services, outdoor plumbing, and septic system work among its offerings, making it one of the broader full-service shops in the area. Reviewers describe same-day and even same-afternoon visits, with customers reporting technicians arriving within hours of a call and quotes issued on the spot. Named technicians include Paul, Joe, Ronald, Logan, Chris, Greg, Matt, and Robby, and customers mention an arrival-tracking app that shows the tech en route. General contractors praise it as a plumbing subcontractor for new construction that communicates well with clients, and customers compare its quotes favorably to competitors for water heater replacements. One negative review disputes a warranty claim, keeping the record balanced. This is a fit for Suffolk homeowners needing quick-turn repairs or competitive quotes on water heaters and septic work. It suits general contractors seeking a plumbing partner for new construction, and customers who value arrival tracking and techs who explain issues on the spot.

Tidewater ProBuild is a remodeling and general contracting company at 1980 Northgate Commerce Parkway in Suffolk, serving Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Suffolk, and the surrounding Hampton Roads area. Its primary work is kitchen and bathroom remodeling, home additions, home repair, and exterior solutions such as decks and porches. The company describes a personalized, start-to-finish operation: design concept through final product, with an emphasis on quality materials and customer relationships. Customer accounts praise craftsmanship and hands-on project management. Reviewers name project manager Ryan Gibson for answering questions patiently through kitchen renovations and additions, and Caleb Witten for being present and punctual, and for taking on smaller jobs such as porch repairs, tile replacement, and vanity-top swaps between larger projects. A water-damage customer describes the company fitting in a short-fused job. One dissatisfied account describes a large gap between an initial verbal estimate and the written quote. This fits homeowners planning kitchen or bathroom remodels who want one company handling design through construction, including change orders along the way. It also suits customers with smaller repair jobs that still need craftsmanship, since modest projects are taken alongside full renovations. Anyone comparing quotes should ask for written, itemized pricing up front, given the one account of a verbal estimate that did not match the final quote.
