11 Best Plumber in San Jose for SameDay Service

Pacific Coast Home Services is a multi-trade home services company headquartered on Qume Dr in north San Jose, with regional offices across the Bay Area. Beyond plumbing it covers HVAC, electrical, and indoor air quality — alongside 24/7 emergency plumbing, water heater installation and service, leaky pipe repair, and kitchen and bath remodels. The breadth makes it a one-call option for plumbing, heating, cooling, and electrical on the same property. Review themes center on fast response and thorough explanation. One account describes techs arriving at 9 PM the same night a drain call was placed, running a camera inspection, and clearing a full-house blockage in under an hour while leaving the home clean. Another describes a first-home buyer who got a full repipe plus a tankless water heater upgrade financed through the company, with the crew leaving the home in clean condition. Named techs include Raphael Alvarez, Juan Robledo, Rafael Jr., Omar, Cesar Ortega, Roy, and Luis Martinez; tidy cleanup recurs as a detail. Some accounts report pricing variability on the electrical and HVAC side. This is a fit for homeowners who want a single vendor across plumbing, HVAC, and electrical — especially buyers of older homes needing repipe work plus system upgrades. The financing option suits customers spreading a large project over time. For emergency drain and sewer calls, the same-day and late-night dispatch pattern is the concrete strength; for bigger projects, the camera inspection and written scope are worth requesting up front.

Proper Hour Home Service is a San Jose home services company on Seaboard Avenue that bundles multiple trades under one roof: plumbing repair and installation for kitchens, bathrooms, and whole-home systems; electrical work by qualified technicians; handyman and general home repair; and interior and exterior painting plus carpentry. The multi-trade model targets homeowners who would rather keep one contractor on file than coordinate separate plumbers, electricians, and painters for a renovation. Published review themes — drawn from company-announced milestones and customer writeups — emphasize punctuality, honest quoting, and standing behind completed work. The company is led by founder Vadim Litvinenko, and its materials stress technicians who show up on time and communicate clearly about scope. Because much of the coverage is promotional press, the verifiable core is the trade list and the Santa Clara County service area rather than the superlatives. This is a fit for Bay Area homeowners planning multi-trade projects, such as a bathroom remodel needing plumbing, electrical, and painting in sequence. It suits repeat-call relationships where one number covers whatever breaks next. Buyers comparing against single-trade specialists should ask which trades are handled in-house and which are subcontracted before committing to a bundled job.

Water Heaters Only, Inc is a water-heater-only contractor based on Old Bayshore Hwy in north San Jose, serving the wider Bay Area including Los Altos, Palo Alto, Mountain View, Sunnyvale, Santa Clara, Fremont, Milpitas, Cupertino, Los Gatos, and Saratoga. The company handles residential gas and electric units, commercial gas water heaters, and tankless installations, with repair services covering thermopile, valve, and controller replacements plus maintenance like annual inspections, tank flushes, and recirculation checks. It operates 24/7 with no extra charge for weekend or holiday service. The review record emphasizes same-day speed and meticulous workmanship. Customers describe calling at 7 AM with a failed heater and having a new unit installed and operating before noon, with technicians protecting floors and cleaning up. Named technicians include Kevin West — requested by name after a 17-year-old installation passed a city inspection without comment — Alex Buenrostro, and Loni. Accounts highlight detailed explanations before work starts, financing options, and a meet-or-beat promise on competing onsite bids for similar product and scope. This is a fit for anyone whose water heater has failed and needs a dedicated specialist rather than a general plumber. The 24/7/365 footing suits holiday and weekend emergencies, and the financing plus price-match policy helps customers comparing quotes. For landlords managing multiple units across the Bay Area, the single-trade focus and documented long service life of prior installs make it a practical repeat vendor.

ARS/ Rescue Rooter is the Bay Area South branch of the national ARS/Rescue Rooter network, based on Paragon Dr in north San Jose and serving Santa Clara, San Mateo, and Santa Cruz counties. The branch combines plumbing with HVAC: drain and sewer line cleaning, excavation and repair, plumbing fixture repair and replacement, Scour-Jet high-pressure grease removal, video sewer inspection, water heater and water line repair and installation, plus heating and air conditioning services. It operates 24/7 with same-day emergency scheduling. Review themes center on fast diagnosis and detailed estimates. One account describes a technician arriving within the hour for a whole-house backup caused by a rock lodged in the main drain — diagnosing the exact location in minutes and fixing it in a way that avoided the city digging up the sidewalk. Named techs include Jerry, Edgar, and Enzo, with customers praising polite, professional conduct and clear walkthroughs of options. Repeat customers describe using the company for recurring drain clogs. One independent consumer survey shows weaker satisfaction scores than the review-site pattern, so the picture is not uniform across sources. This is a fit for homeowners and businesses who want a large, resourced operation for drain and sewer problems — the kind of job where excavation equipment, camera gear, and a stocked truck matter. The combined HVAC offering suits customers consolidating vendors. For anyone comparing, the contrast suggests asking for a written estimate and confirming the technician assigned before work begins.

A Sunday caller was offered the choice of a Sunday-night emergency visit or shutting the water off until Monday. The on-time commitment is a recurring brand theme. This is a fit for homeowners who want a large, structured operation with membership maintenance and guaranteed arrival windows. The sewer and slab-leak specialties suit older homes with underground problems. Those preferring a small owner-operated shop may find the franchise structure less personal.

Its published service range covers plumbing repairs, residential plumbing, and drain cleaning, while its listed offerings add water tank repair and installation, pool plumbing repair, outdoor plumbing system repair, and leak repair. The profile suggests a company comfortable with both indoor fixtures and the outdoor systems — tanks, pools, yard plumbing — that other shops sometimes decline. Review themes center on speed and straight pricing. Customers describe a water heater restored to hot water in a single visit, a kitchen sink backup cleared with hydro jetting plus a faulty faucet fixed in the same trip, and a Sunday-evening burst pipe call answered with a Monday-morning visit. Reviewers repeatedly note being given a clear price before work started, with the final bill matching the quote, and technicians who explain each step as they go. Garbage disposal installs and leak repairs round out the commonly mentioned jobs. This is a fit for San Jose homeowners who want a quote locked in before tools come out, since pricing transparency is the dominant review theme. It suits callers with bundled problems — a clogged sink plus a failing faucet, for example — where one visit covers multiple fixes. Weekend emergency callers appear in its customer history, making it relevant for urgent no-hot-water or burst-pipe situations.

Free estimates appear in the record, with cleanup noted after jobs. One reviewer felt the price was high relative to their income, though they praised the workmanship itself. This is a fit for San Jose homeowners facing water heater failures who need next-morning turnaround, since emergency heater replacement is a repeated strength. It suits drain and sewer buyers who want hydro-jetting paired with fixture touch-ups in one call. Weekend callers benefit from the answered-phone record, a practical differentiator when other shops go to voicemail.
