65 Best Plumber in San Diego for SameDay Service

Plumbing Tree is a full-service plumbing repair company at 2640 Financial Court in the Bay Ho area of San Diego, serving San Diego County. Its offerings include water filtration systems, backflow services, fixture installation and repair, garbage disposal repair, sewer services, whole-home copper repiping, tankless water heater installation, and scheduled plumbing inspections that assess pipes and drains throughout the house. The company takes a consultative approach — educating customers on multiple options with no high-pressure sales — and advertises strong warranties on its work. Hours run around the clock Monday through Friday, with Saturday hours and Sunday closed. Reviews name technicians Steven C., Luis, Angel, and Jesse, and owner Freddy for a personal touch: a six-year customer praises Steven C.'s meticulous valve replacement and full-house inspection, while another describes a same-day shower drain fix with photo reports and clear pricing. The company texts customers a photo of the arriving technician. Long-term users — some for a decade — cite scheduled maintenance visits, preventive recommendations, and consistent follow-through. A week-long whole-home copper repipe with three to four plumbers daily drew praise for courtesy and professionalism. This is a fit for San Diego County homeowners who want an education-first plumber with documented inspections and strong warranty backing. It suits both emergency leak calls and planned projects like repipes and filtration systems, with communication that keeps customers updated before, during, and after the work.

American Plumbing Co | Plumber in San Diego is a small residential plumbing shop on 21st Street in the Sherman Heights neighborhood of San Diego, open weekdays 9 to 5 and weekends on reduced hours. Its work focuses on everyday residential repairs: leaky toilet and shower valve fixes, copper re-piping, sewer line repair, water heater installation and repair, drain snaking, garbage disposals, and preventive drain maintenance. The customer experience is personal — nearly every review names Charlie, the plumber who answers, diagnoses, and does the work. Review themes are consistency, fair pricing, and honesty: one customer got a leaking pipe fixed within two hours on Christmas Day at what they called more-than-fair pricing, another got free phone advice when Charlie said the job was outside his service area, and several describe same-day visits with free estimates. Reviewers repeatedly call him honest and note that minor extras — a bathtub unclogging, a water heater adjustment — are handled without added charges. This is a fit for central San Diego homeowners who prefer dealing with one trusted plumber rather than a dispatched crew. It suits straightforward repair and maintenance jobs where honest pricing matters more than around-the-clock coverage, and where the owner answers the phone himself.

Elite Rooter Plumbers is the San Diego office of the national Elite Rooter brand, operating from Pickwick Street with phone lines answered 24 hours a day. Its services cover drain clearing, sewer repair including trenchless lining, water heater repair and installation, leak detection, toilet and fixture installation, camera inspections, water filtration and softening equipment, and gas valve work. The company covers San Diego and surrounding areas such as Coronado. Review themes center on rapid response and thorough diagnostics: technicians Sam, Stan, Omar, Ricardo Gonzalez, Grayson, and Caleb are named. One customer's tree-root sewer lateral was scoped Friday evening and finished by Sunday morning; a leaking water heater drew arrival in under an hour. Reviewers describe detailed written estimates with no hidden fees, technicians who explain each option, and a fix-it-right rather than patch-it philosophy. A small minority of reviews are critical, but the dominant pattern is prompt, well-equipped service. This is a fit for San Diego homeowners facing sewer and drain problems who want camera-based diagnosis and trenchless options before committing to excavation. The 24/7 answering and sub-hour reported arrivals suit urgent calls, and the national-brand structure supports larger multi-day projects.

Mr. Rooter Plumbing of San Diego County is the local franchise of the national Mr. Rooter brand, operating from Chesapeake Drive in San Diego. Its service list is broad: drain cleaning, water heater service, sewer line repair, repiping, video camera inspections, leak detection, plumbing repairs, gas line piping, water line work, well pumps, water filters and softeners, and even heating, air conditioning, and remodeling. It serves residential and commercial customers across all of San Diego County, 24 hours a day. Review themes center on speed and equipment: technicians Omar, Francisco, Noe, and Jesus are named, with one customer reporting arrival within 40 minutes of calling. A detailed review describes a whole-house stoppage resolved over three days with snaking, hydro scrubbing, camera inspection, and a five-foot dig to replace a broken pipe — the reviewer credits the company for having the right equipment when the warranty company's plumber did not. Customers describe courteous, professional techs who explain the problem and the fix. This is a fit for San Diego County property owners who want a large, always-available operation for complex jobs — sewer lines, repipes, camera diagnostics — that smaller shops cannot always handle. The franchise backing and around-the-clock dispatch suit emergencies and multi-day projects alike.

Discount Plumbing San Diego is a plumbing company serving San Diego County from Mississippi Street, operating 24 hours a day. Services cover drain cleaning, hydro jetting, sewer line repair and replacement including trenchless methods, water heater repair and replacement, gas line service, leak detection, fixture and garbage disposal work, and water filtration systems, for both residential and commercial customers. The company advertises a 60-minute emergency response, free estimates, upfront pricing, and a one-year labor guarantee. Reviews consistently praise speed and communication: technicians Jose, Javier, Roberto, Isaiah, Hector, and Sergio are named, with office staff Tina and Corey credited for smooth scheduling across multiple properties. Property managers use the company across their portfolios for everything from toilet installs to 1950s-era bathroom plumbing brought up to code. A same-day tankless water heater flush and a free estimate on a major leak are typical of the reported pattern. This is a fit for San Diego homeowners and property managers who want fast emergency response with pricing agreed before work starts. The trenchless sewer offering suits owners facing line replacements who want to avoid full excavation, and the 24/7 schedule covers middle-of-the-night failures.

Same Day Heating, Cooling, Plumbing is a San Diego company on Clairemont Mesa Boulevard that grew out of HVAC and now covers plumbing too. The HVAC side handles AC repair and installation, heater service, tune-ups, and air quality equipment; the plumbing side handles drain clearing, water heater installation, and sewer repair. Its signature promise is that if the technician does not fix the system the same day they arrive, the customer does not pay the service fee. The company operates 24 hours a day, backs installations with a 24-month satisfaction guarantee, offers free estimates, and serves Spanish-speaking customers. Reviews name technicians Elias, Wilbert, Hector, and Pancho for fast, knowledgeable work — one AC failure was fixed by noon the day after a nighttime call, and a drain emergency drew same-day plumbers who explained preventive steps. Several reviewers highlight the crew returning to make an install right. On the other side, one customer disputes an unrefunded payment and another reports a parts delay during a heat advisory, so the same-day promise holds in most reported cases but not all. This is a fit for San Diego County homeowners who want one company for both climate and plumbing emergencies, day or night. It suits people who value a formal same-day guarantee and Spanish-language service, and who want installation work backed by a written warranty.

Pros Plumbing San Diego Services is a downtown San Diego plumbing company based on B Street, operating 24 hours a day. Its listed category is plumbing, and the downtown location places it in the densest part of the city — high-rise condos, office buildings, restaurants, and historic structures sharing tight quarters. In that environment, plumbing work often means coordinating with building management, navigating shared stacks, and working around occupied commercial spaces. For a downtown plumbing shop, the likely scope is the standard service catalog: leak repairs, drain clearing, water heater service, fixture installation and replacement, and emergency calls for burst pipes or backups. The 24-hour schedule is the defining operational feature, matching a downtown rhythm where after-hours work is often the only way to service restaurants, offices, and residential towers without disruption. This is a fit for downtown San Diego residents and businesses that need a centrally located plumber available at any hour. The location suits urgent calls in the urban core, where travel time from suburban shops can be the bottleneck. For property managers overseeing downtown buildings, a nearby 24-hour option simplifies emergency response planning. As with any contractor where public review evidence is limited, confirming licensing and a written estimate before authorizing work is a sensible step.

CITY PLUMBER is a Pacific Beach plumbing company based on Garnet Avenue, with a trade profile spanning plumbing, general contracting, drainage service, gas installation service, and repair work. The 24-hour schedule covers most days of the week, and the company is license-verified with a California C-36 plumbing contractor listing. The Pacific Beach base puts it in the middle of one of San Diego's densest beach communities — older bungalows, apartment blocks, and commercial strips along Garnet. The category mix — plumbing plus gas installation plus general contracting — suggests a company that can take on bigger jobs: gas line work, drain and sewer projects, and repair work that crosses into light construction. That combination suits the beach-area housing stock, where aging pipes, sandy soil, and older gas lines are common issues, and where a single job can easily span plumbing and building repair. This is a fit for Pacific Beach and coastal San Diego homeowners dealing with gas line, drain, or sewer problems in older homes. The gas installation category is the differentiator — not every plumber handles gas, and beach cottages with aging gas systems need someone who does. For landlords with multiple beach-area rentals, the 24-hour availability and broad trade coverage make this a practical single-call option.

Handy Manny Plumbing is a small, owner-operated plumbing company based in Grantville, San Diego. Owner Manuel Valencia Haro is a California-licensed plumbing contractor whose background has been verified, and he handles jobs personally rather than dispatching a crew. The services center on plumbing repairs: faucets, fixtures, and pipe repair or replacement, plus water heater installation, replacement, and repair. Free estimates are offered, and hours run 8 AM to 8 PM Monday through Saturday, closed Sundays. The company's stated positioning is honest, reliable service at a fair price with no upselling — clear communication, quality workmanship, and options that fit the customer's budget. As a one-person operation, the customer gets the owner on every job, which keeps accountability direct and explanations firsthand. The business accepts cash, check, credit card, and Zelle for payment flexibility. This is a fit for Grantville and central San Diego homeowners who prefer dealing directly with the plumber doing the work, particularly for repairs and water heater jobs where straight answers matter more than a large company's scheduling machine. The no-upsell stance suits budget-conscious customers comparing quotes. For landlords and property owners with smaller repair lists, a single owner-operator can be a simpler, more responsive relationship.

Drain Medic / Rx Plumbing is a San Diego County drain and sewer contractor with a residential plumbing division covering the full trade. Its drain and sewer work includes high-resolution camera inspections, heavy-duty hydro jetting, trenchless repair, pipe lining, pipe bursting, grease trap service, and sump pump work. On the plumbing side, the company handles faucets and fixtures, copper repiping, garbage disposals, slab leak repairs, pressure regulators, remodels, toilets and bidets, tubs and sinks, water heaters including tankless units, gas and water repipes, polybutylene repairs, electronic leak detection, and backflow certification. The company's stated method is camera-first: locate the blockage, diagnose on video, and present a clear repair picture before any tool is picked up. Customers describe same-day availability with 24/7 emergency response, free estimates, flat-rate pricing, and financing options for larger projects. Technicians Omar, Joshua, Sam, Emilio, and Chris are named for knowledgeable, patient service, with commercial clients citing grease trap replacement paired with hydro jetting done with minimal disruption to operations. This is a fit for San Diego County property owners facing sewer or drain problems where the cause is unknown, since the camera-led diagnosis addresses exactly that uncertainty. The commercial capability — after-hours scheduling, occupied-facility work — suits restaurants, retail, and office properties. For homeowners with aging lines, the trenchless repair and pipe bursting options offer fixes without tearing up the yard.
