11 Best Plumber in San Diego for SameDay Service

Core Plumbing is a father-and-son owned and operated plumbing shop at 7292 Opportunity Road in the Kearny Mesa area of San Diego, open 24 hours a day. Services cover plumbing repair, sewer services, drain cleaning, gas services, water heater installation, replacement, and maintenance, water filtration, backflow prevention including device installation and testing, pipe jetting, sewer line inspection, cleanout installation, garbage disposal installation and repair, and remodeling plumbing. The company describes its ethic as craftsmanship in a family tradition. Reviews name technicians Kevin, Joe, Luke, Eli, and Tim: customers describe texted arrival updates with a photo of the technician, multiple written quotes for bigger jobs, and clear explanations of each option. One reviewer met owner Don on the job and praised the personal accountability. The recurring theme is no-upsell honesty — techs who explain what can wait. One reviewer calls a small-job faucet charge excessive, so pricing can read high on minor work even as most customers call it fair. This is a fit for Kearny Mesa and greater San Diego homeowners who want a family-run shop with modern dispatch conveniences — online scheduling, arrival tracking — and technicians who present options before selling. It suits water heater, sewer, and gas work where a second written quote is welcome, with 24/7 availability for urgent calls.
