18 Best HVAC contractor in San Antonio for SameDay Service

Comfort-Air Engineering & Primo Plumbing is a combined San Antonio operation pairing an engineering-rooted HVAC company with a full plumbing outfit. The HVAC side serves residential, commercial, and institutional clients across San Antonio, Boerne, New Braunfels, Seguin, Helotes, and South Texas, handling everything from ductless mini-splits and chilled water systems to wine cellar cooling. Primo Plumbing covers complete plumbing service: pressure reducing valves, expansion tanks, sewer inspections and lines, fixture work, and repairs for homes and businesses. Review themes center on honest diagnostics and upfront quotes: technicians Luis M., Fernando, Mitch Brown, and Gabriel are named, and one customer sends the team to relatives for second opinions, trusting them against other companies. Maintenance-plan customers describe twice-yearly servicing with polite, knowledgeable techs. One billing dispute appears among otherwise positive feedback, a reminder to confirm invoices on larger jobs. This is a fit for San Antonio property owners wanting one accountable company across complex HVAC and plumbing needs, including commercial and institutional work most residential shops do not touch. The maintenance plans suit owners who prefer scheduled care over reactive calls.

County Wide Service Co.- AC, Heating and Plumbing is a heating, cooling, and plumbing company serving San Antonio and Bexar County. The HVAC side covers AC repair and installation, furnace and heating system repair and installation, duct cleaning, insulation, and indoor air quality products like dehumidifiers. Plumbing services include toilet and faucet repair, drain repair, pipe installation and repair, water heater replacement, and plumbing inspections, with electrical and wiring work also on the menu. Maintenance plans bundle ongoing HVAC and plumbing care. Review themes center on the technicians: Ruben, Joaquin, Tim, and Edgar are named for skilled, courteous work and same-day turnarounds — one plumber persisted through a tricky toilet blockage until it cleared, and an AC failure turned a first-time caller into an active recommender. Yearly maintenance customers describe thorough, on-time visits. Financing options and a free service call with repairs lower the barrier on bigger jobs. This is a fit for San Antonio households wanting one long-established company for both comfort systems and plumbing, especially those who prefer maintenance-plan relationships over one-off calls. The breadth suits owners who would rather build history with a single shop across AC, heating, and plumbing needs.

Shafer Services Plus is a family-run San Antonio company providing both plumbing and heating and air conditioning service, with a separate commercial-services operation alongside its residential work. Its plumbing side handles repairs, drain cleaning, water heaters, and fixture service, while the HVAC teams cover AC and heating repair and installation, ductwork, and indoor air quality — and the commercial division serves businesses with larger-scale mechanical needs. Reviewers describe same-day scheduling for jobs like water heater flushes, technicians who explain each step before starting, and standout service from techs Benjamin, John, Danny, Ismael Partida, and Chris W., plus commercial manager Mark Patino for business clients. Senior discounts are part of its pricing, and online booking adds convenience. Some reviewers describe pricing on the higher side, so the options-based quotes deserve a careful read. It is built for customers who want one accountable provider for plumbing and comfort systems: homeowners bundling HVAC and plumbing work, and commercial property managers who need a dedicated business-services team. The family-run identity and deep San Antonio roots appeal to customers who prefer local ownership, while the commercial division makes it a practical choice for businesses with ongoing mechanical needs.

Evenflow Home & Commercial Services is a San Antonio company providing residential and commercial plumbing, HVAC, and electrical work from master-licensed tradespeople. Its plumbing services include whole-home repiping, water heater and tankless water heater installation, water softeners, garbage disposal replacement, sewer and drain work, and backflow preventer installation; the electrical side covers panel upgrades, rewiring, surge protection, and lighting; and it also installs and services standby generators — a notable specialty in storm-prone Texas. The company is BBB-accredited with an A+ standing, and its service area stretches across the metro to Boerne, New Braunfels, Schertz, and Converse. A couple of reviews note prices on the higher side — the trade-off customers describe for the depth of service. It fits customers who want all three trades under one roof: homeowners planning a repipe alongside electrical upgrades, businesses needing commercial plumbing and generator backup, and anyone who values a single accountable provider for complex projects. The generator specialty and master-level licensing make it a strong choice for preparedness-minded households and commercial clients alike.

Leaky’s Plumbing, Heating & A/C - San Antonio is a San Antonio home-services company covering both plumbing and HVAC, with 24/7 availability for emergencies. Its plumbing side handles repairs, sewer and drain work including trenchless replacement, water heaters, water softeners, and whole-home repiping, while the HVAC teams cover AC and furnace service and installation — so one company can handle a burst pipe in January and a dead AC in August. Reviewers describe one-hour emergency response times even in peak season, Sunday service availability, and technicians who wear shoe covers and keep the work area clean. Corey, Ivan, and Marco are named in reviews for professional, communicative work, and customers highlight transparent pricing with cost calculators that help set expectations before the tech arrives. It is built for homeowners who want a single provider for plumbing and comfort systems: families with aging HVAC and plumbing alike, households that need genuine emergency response rather than next-day callbacks, and anyone who values seeing cost ranges before booking. The around-the-clock availability and dual-trade coverage make it a convenient choice for busy households that would rather make one call than coordinate two contractors.

Elmer's Home Services is a San Antonio home-services company covering plumbing, heating and air conditioning, and electrical work, with around-the-clock availability for emergencies. On the plumbing side it handles water heater replacement, emergency repairs, and general plumbing calls, while the HVAC side covers AC installation and repair, furnace service, and a signature multi-point tune-up the company markets as the Elmerization. The company runs on upfront, no-commission pricing, and offers financing for larger projects, which suits the big-ticket nature of system replacements. Reviewers name techs Nathan, Daniel, Raul, and Jonathan for clear explanations and photo-documented work, and customers describe thorough assessments before any recommendation. A smaller share of reviews mention follow-up delays on complex installations — worth knowing for anyone scheduling multi-day projects. It is built for homeowners who want one provider for the whole mechanical system: families replacing an aging AC and water heater together, households that value scheduled tune-ups, and anyone who prefers financing options on major installs. The trade-off to weigh is scale — as a large multi-city operation, scheduling can be less personal than a neighborhood shop, but the breadth of services and transparent pricing structure make it a convenient single stop for whole-home work.

Jon Wayne Service Company is a San Antonio home-services company covering plumbing, heating and air conditioning, electrical work, and smart-home installation under one roof. On the plumbing side it handles repairs, water heaters, drain work, and fixture service, while the HVAC and electrical teams cover system installation, repair, and maintenance — so a homeowner can bundle a plumbing repair, an AC tune-up, and an electrical fix into a single provider relationship. Technicians carry NATE certification on the HVAC side, and reviewers describe thorough diagnostics, accurate quotes, and next-day scheduling availability for non-emergency work. Javier, Andrew, and Efrain Ortiz are named in reviews for clear explanations and professional workmanship, and the company runs membership plans that give customers scheduled maintenance visits and priority scheduling across its trades. It is built for homeowners who would rather have one number to call for the whole house: families with aging AC and plumbing systems, new homeowners who want maintenance handled on schedule, and anyone mid-renovation needing electrical and plumbing work coordinated. The single-provider model, documented diagnostics, and maintenance-plan option make it a convenient choice for households that value planned upkeep over one-off emergency calls.

Radiant Plumbing & Air Conditioning - San Antonio is the local branch of a Texas home-services company, operating from Wye Drive with plumbing and HVAC under one roof. The plumbing side covers drains, leak repair, faucet repair and installation, toilet installation, water heater repair, and gas line hookups; the air side handles AC repair and installation, system maintenance and tune-ups, thermostat installation, and heating work. Emergency service is advertised, and financing is offered on larger jobs. Review themes center on thorough, communicative technicians. Troy is the name that repeats — praised for clear explanations of each maintenance step, safety tips, and efficiency recommendations on preventive visits. Plumber Jason earns the same treatment for faucet, toilet, and water heater work described as thorough, accurate, and honest. Kevin Sanchez's AC repair and Wayne, Jonathan, and Hector's gas line hookup draw similar praise for fast, explained work. The record is not perfect: one complaint describes a disputed AC diagnosis at a parent's home, so getting a second opinion on big-ticket HVAC calls is reasonable. Radiant fits San Antonio homeowners who want one accountable company for both plumbing and cooling — a real convenience in South Texas heat. Its preventive-maintenance culture suits customers who want seasonal tune-ups with explanations, not just part swaps. For landlords with rentals, the branch's stated willingness to work properties into the schedule is a practical plus.
