6 Best Furnace repair service in Pittsburgh for SameDay Service

Comfy Kozy®️ Heating Cooling Plumbing is a veteran-owned home services company in the Pittsburgh area with a shop address on West Street, serving Allegheny County. The business is HVAC-first: heating and cooling repair and installation, air duct cleaning and replacement, air quality and mold testing, and geothermal heating, combined with plumbing services including drain cleaning, water heater repair and replacement, sewer camera inspection, radiant heating, and sanitary inspections. Its service listings span central air conditioning, heat pumps, tankless water heaters, and grease-trap work, and the company advertises emergency availability. Technicians Mark and Shawn are named across reviews, which describe fast, accurate diagnostics: one customer says a technician solved in ten minutes a cooling problem another company had spent hundreds on, and reviewers praise prompt arrival, professional conduct, and thorough explanations of equipment. Balanced accounts include a complaint about tiered service plans — Bronze to Platinum packages quoted at steep prices for furnace work — suggesting customers ask for itemized estimates before approving. Overall feedback centers on courteous, efficient technicians who leave systems working properly. The company fits homeowners needing a single contractor for combined heating, cooling, and plumbing needs, including families wanting second opinions on expensive diagnoses from other companies. It serves residential customers across Allegheny County's suburbs and city neighborhoods. Customers with urgent failures can request emergency service, and those comparing quotes may benefit from the firm's willingness to explain options before starting work.

Poremski Michael F Plumbing & Heating is a master plumbing company at 41 Glenbury Street in Pittsburgh's Overbrook neighborhood. The firm's residential and commercial menu includes water heater installations, fixture replacements, sewer line services, gas line installation and repair, pipe and drain repairs, frozen water pipe repairs, sewer snaking, drainpipe leak service, waste and overflow removal, and water line emergencies. Heating and specialty work adds boiler service, French drains, excavating, video pipe inspection, dye testing, backflow prevention, and complete kitchen and bathroom plumbing. The company's own materials list master-plumber credentials and a long presence in the South Hills, with neighborhoods like South Side and Overbrook in its service footprint. Customer accounts vary: the bulk of public reviews are strongly positive about prompt, clean, fairly priced work, while at least one reviewer reports a poor experience with a rude technician and a quote judged excessive afterward. That split makes it a company where asking for a detailed written estimate upfront is prudent. Homeowners and small commercial properties needing sewer, gas, water heater, or excavation work form the core clientele.

The company describes itself as family-run and traces its history to 1929. It operates as a Bryant Factory Authorized Dealer with NATE-certified technicians and offers 24-hour emergency service. Service offerings cover furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and hot water and steam boilers, plus radiant floor heat, custom sheet metal fabrication, air purification, and humidification systems for residential and commercial customers. It also offers service and maintenance contracts, load calculations for proper system sizing, and ductwork evaluation, making it suitable for homeowners and builders who want design-to-install coverage and ongoing upkeep of mechanical systems. Reviewers praise prompt responses, friendly technicians, and professional service, and the company cites a 2011 Better Business Bureau Torch Award for ethics. A minority report high prices, misdiagnosis, or poor follow-up, so the record is mostly positive with cost as the recurring friction point. It suits customers seeking a long-established full-service HVAC contractor with emergency coverage.

CALFO Home Services is a multi-trade home services company based at 91 Terence Dr in Pittsburgh's 15236 ZIP, covering the South Hills and surrounding areas. Its trades span plumbing, heating, air conditioning, electrical, and home inspection, so one dispatcher covers leak repairs, furnace and AC work, duct cleaning, gas pipe installation, and electrical jobs alike. The company runs around the clock and offers online appointment booking with next-day availability. Review themes name technicians across the trades. Alex Brackman and Benito Contouris fixed a backed-up sewer, arriving early and making sure the problem would not recur. Dom and Jonathan are noted for thorough air conditioning checkups. For South Hills homeowners who would rather keep one company's number for plumbing, heating, cooling, and electrical needs, this is a fit for consolidated home care. The multi-trade bench suits urgent situations where a problem crosses trades, such as a sewer backup tied to electrical work or an HVAC failure tied to ducting, and next-day availability helps when a repair cannot wait.

South Side Plumbing & Heating is a plumbing and HVAC company at South 20th Street in Pittsburgh's South Side Flats, handling boilers, furnaces, water heaters, air conditioning, sewer and drain work, and general plumbing. The company installs and services heating and cooling systems for homes, and its plumbing side covers water heater replacement including tankless units, faucets, garbage disposals, and gas valve work. The office keeps weekday business hours, while emergency calls show up in the record at all hours — including a Christmas Eve blower-motor replacement that had a family's heat restored the same morning. The feedback record runs on repeat business: customers describe years of service calls, technicians who explain each repair before doing it, and cleanup after the job. Ryan, Brian, Jake, Rich, and John are named across feedback for heating repairs, boiler and furnace installs, and water heater replacements. Pricing comes up often as fair and clearly explained, with customers noting they were shown options before choosing a repair, and the office staff is described as helpful with scheduling. This is a fit for Pittsburgh homeowners who want one company covering both plumbing and HVAC, especially owners of older homes with boilers that need regular attention. Landlords with rental units in the South Side could use the firm for both emergency heat calls and scheduled water heater work under one relationship, while buyers of homes with aging heating systems get a shop that diagnoses first and quotes clearly.
