Best Air conditioning contractor in Oakland for SameDay Service

Harry Clark Plumbing and Heating Inc is an Oakland plumbing and heating contractor based at 3026 Broadway, covering plumbing, heating, and air conditioning from one shop. Its listed work includes furnace repair and installation, thermostats and zoning, gas line repairs, trenchless sewer repair, toilet repairs, re-piping, drain cleaning, mystery leak repairs, valve pressure issues, and heat pump and air conditioning service including ducted central and ductless mini-split systems. The company serves Oakland and Berkeley. Review themes center on heating expertise and older homes: Don Marshall is named as the heating specialist, Brian is noted for special-ordering an unusual-size water heater and installing it on time, and Jason's crew is praised for inspection work that accommodates tight real estate schedules, with office staff member Daniele noted for responsive communication. Longtime customers describe fair prices and reliable service over many years. The record also carries honest negatives: one detailed review describes a sewer lateral replacement with poor communication and a disputed code issue, and another reports a slow, poorly communicated street restoration job. This company fits Oakland and Berkeley owners of older homes who need both plumbing and heating handled by one long-standing local contractor, including heat pump and furnace work. Weekday hours of 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM with weekends closed point it toward planned projects rather than emergencies. Given the two detailed negative experiences, asking for a clear written scope and timeline before approving larger jobs is prudent.
