Best Air conditioning repair service in Newark for SameDay Service

City Plumbing Heating Air conditioning & Sewer Drain Cleaning is a Newark, NJ contractor at 494 Broad St in the Central Ward, sharing the same City Plumbing brand as the Belleville location. The business combines plumbing, heating, cooling, drain and sewer work with bathroom and kitchen remodeling, water damage restoration, and water removal. Listed services cover clogged drains, sewer repair, sewer camera inspections, frozen pipe repair, water leak detection, water heater repair, faucet installation and repair, and 24/7 emergency plumbing — a broader build-and-restore menu than a standard plumber, extending into remodeling and post-damage cleanup. The review record centers on emergency response. Customers describe fast arrival for urgent plumbing jobs, technicians who explain the work as they go and clean up afterward, and pricing that compared favorably with other companies. A counterbalancing review from November 2025 describes a technician accepting cash only, asking for a tip, and the company failing to email a receipt after two requests, with the reviewer warning others to be careful. The listing positions the business as open 24/7. This is a fit for Newark homeowners and landlords dealing with urgent plumbing failures — bursts, backups, water damage — who want one company that can repair, remediate, and remodel in a single engagement. The 24/7 positioning suits two-family owners managing tenant emergencies at odd hours. The cash-and-receipt complaint is the clear counterpoint: confirming payment terms and getting everything in writing before work begins is the practical step.

National Plumbing & Heating Inc is a plumbing and heating contractor based at 236 S 11th Street in Newark's Fairmount neighborhood. Its work spans water service and heating system repair and installation, covering plumbing repairs, water heater replacement, heating system service, and air conditioning work in the greater Newark area. The company describes itself as a full-service plumbing and heating specialist positioned for both scheduled jobs and emergency calls. Reviews point to whole-house and system-level work: customers describe technicians replacing a water heater tank quickly, replacing all piping from the curb to the house in a project involving old galvanized pipe, and installing gas piping with a pressure test coordinated with the inspector. Named staff include Yohan, Jorge, and Al. Reviewers mention competitive pricing, fast and responsive communication, and work that stood up to inspector scrutiny, with one noting the company owned up to and fixed hiccups during a large repiping project. This is a fit for Newark homeowners undertaking major plumbing or heating projects such as whole-house repiping, water heater replacement, or gas line work. It suits people who want a local contractor experienced with older homes and municipal inspections. Customers comparing quotes on system replacements may appreciate the pattern of clear estimates and competitive pricing reported in reviews.
