3 Best Air conditioning repair service in Memphis for SameDay Service

Crowe Services HVAC & Plumbing is a Memphis heating, air conditioning, and plumbing contractor serving all of Shelby County from its West Street office, with weekday hours from 7:30 AM. Its plumbing work covers drain cleaning, leak detection and repair, and emergency plumbing calls, while the HVAC side handles AC installation, replacement, repair and maintenance, heat pumps, and Generac generator installations. The company positions itself around fast dispatch and patient, plain-language explanation of every job. Review themes are consistently warm. Anthony Baker is repeatedly named for thorough, patient explanations of checks, results, and recommendations during system visits, with customers requesting him by name for return work. Jamey earns praise for arriving within half an hour of a call and fixing drain problems the same day, and Richard Crowe himself answered a holiday-weekend AC emergency personally — arriving in under twenty minutes and not charging for his time. A pinhole ceiling leak was diagnosed and repaired next-day, and generator and full HVAC installs get efficient, communicative crew work from DJ, Kaleb, and their teams. Crowe is a fit for Memphis homeowners who want a responsive multi-trade shop for both HVAC and plumbing, particularly those who value technicians who explain before they act. The holiday-weekend responsiveness makes it relevant for urgent cooling and leak calls outside normal business hours. Homeowners considering generator installation or a full system replacement get a contractor whose review record centers on communication and follow-through rather than upsell pressure.

Service Experts Memphis is the Memphis branch of a national HVAC contractor, at 6949 Appling Farms Parkway, and is a heating and cooling company rather than a plumbing-first shop. It covers air conditioning service, maintenance, and repair; HVAC installation including new AC systems, thermostats, and heat pumps; heating inspection, maintenance, and repair; duct cleaning; indoor air quality; and commercial HVAC. Its Membership Advantage and Maintenance+ programs offer subscription-style maintenance with semiannual checkups, and emergency HVAC service runs around the clock, every day. Reviews name technicians across a large local team: Matt Taylor for thorough seasonal checkups with clear explanations; Billy Hamilton, a long-requested favorite for preventive maintenance visits; JW for AC failures diagnosed and repaired within a day of calling; Tim and Krista for furnace servicing; David Morgan for polite, understandable explanations; and Terry, Denzel, and Khalil for emergency and repair work. One account describes a Sunday no-heat fix completed within a couple of hours. Review summaries note occasional communication gaps during installations but describe the service as generally reliable and courteous. This is a fit for Memphis homeowners who want HVAC handled by a large provider with a membership model, particularly those who prefer scheduled biannual maintenance over reactive repairs. The 24/7 emergency line suits no-heat and no-cool breakdowns at any hour. Commercial property managers fall within its stated service range, and the subscription programs appeal to owners who want maintenance costs predictable.

Conway Services is a large Memphis-area home services company covering air conditioning, heating, plumbing, and electrical from its Cordova operation, with 24/7 emergency availability. Its plumbing lineup includes water heater installation and replacement, drain cleaning, leak detection, pipe repairs, faucet fixes, sewer repairs and replacement, toilets, and garbage disposals. The HVAC side runs deeper: AC installation, replacement, repair and maintenance, ductless mini-splits, generators, indoor air quality, and attic insulation, all backed by a Pro Service Plan for recurring customers. Review themes center on speed and professionalism across the trades. One customer describes a leaking water heater diagnosed at 2 PM Friday with a full tank replacement, drain pan, roof vent work, and hot water restored by 6 PM the same day, with the old tank hauled away. Technician Jacob is named for replacing shut-off valves and faucets quietly and cleanly, Adam Mclaurin for same-day diagnosis with upfront costs, and Donald Walker and Kentrell for on-time, knowledgeable HVAC visits. Install crews like Steve, Will, and Grover earn praise for thorough, punctual full-system replacements. Conway is a fit for Memphis homeowners who want one contractor covering the whole house — a failed water heater in the afternoon and a dead air conditioner the same night fall under one dispatch. The Pro Service Plan suits owners who prefer scheduled maintenance handled for them rather than remembered. Customers comparing large multi-trade shops get value from the company's stated practice of presenting costs upfront and sending dedicated crews for same-day emergency work.
