6 Best Plumber in Matthews for SameDay Service

Red Fox Plumbing is a Matthews plumbing company on Smith Farm Road serving the southeast Charlotte metro, run by Shane and his son Max as a small, owner-involved operation. Listed categories cover general plumbing and drainage service. Jobs in customer accounts include garbage disposal replacement, under-slab re-piping, whole-house filtration systems, toilet and fixture installations, automatic shut-off valve installation, and bathroom faucet rebuilds. Review themes center on transparency and fair dealing: customers describe firm quotes given from photos without a service fee for the estimate, and no upcharging after the job was booked. Shane is named repeatedly for detailed, itemized estimates, clear communication by text, clean work areas, and punctual arrivals. One reviewer reports a toilet install quoted well below a competitor's figure for the same job, and several note the techs refusing unnecessary upsells. This is a fit for homeowners who want a firm quote before committing and dislike vague pricing or pressure to add extras. The under-slab re-pipe and shut-off valve work suits owners dealing with hidden leaks or wanting flood prevention, while the same-day response record helps with urgent repairs.

Nadi Plumbing Services is a Charlotte-area plumbing company based on Smith Farm Road in Stallings, serving Charlotte, Matthews, Huntersville, Monroe, and Indian Trail. Its service list spans drain cleaning, sewer line repair and replacement, water line repair, backflow testing and prevention, tankless and conventional water heater installation and repair, hydrojetting, whole-house water filtration, gas line repair, sump pump work, and storm drain cleaning. Commercial plumbing is a stated specialty, and emergency service is offered around the clock. The company also describes a niche commercial line: private fire hydrant installation, testing, and repair for HOAs, multi-family communities, and commercial properties, including service agreements with local developments. Customer accounts on the hiring platform describe commercial and residential projects completed with attention to workmanship, and the founder's background spans a decade with established regional plumbing companies before launching Nadi. This is a fit for homeowners dealing with clogs, sewer problems, or water heater failures who want a broad service menu from one visit. Property managers and HOA boards with private hydrant responsibilities get a specialist, while the round-the-clock emergency coverage suits urgent situations across the metro.

Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup is the Matthews branch of the national Roto-Rooter franchise, based on Sam Newell Road and operating around the clock. Services span plumbing, drains, sewer work, and water damage restoration, including excavating and repair work. The franchise model brings standardized processes: upfront cost communication, nationally branded equipment, and crews that can roll from a burst-pipe call into water extraction and restoration. Review themes describe fast emergency response: one customer recounts a midnight burst pipe fixed within half an hour by technician Dennis, with the supervisor walking through the insurance claim process afterward, and another praises Ty's thorough drain work with cleanup. The record also carries friction: one reviewer asked in vain for a rough weekend price before a main-line visit, and another called a small pipe repair overpriced. The profile is genuinely mixed. This is a fit for homeowners facing middle-of-the-night emergencies like burst pipes, where 24-hour dispatch and combined plumbing-plus-restoration matter most. The mixed pricing record suggests asking for a firm quote before work begins is wise.
