Best Gasfitter in Madison for SameDay Service

Avid Plumbing LLC is a Madison, Wisconsin plumbing contractor at 818 Post Road serving the greater Madison area. Its service range spans drain repair and repiping, fixture replacements, kitchen and bathroom plumbing, water treatment, water heaters and water lines, gas pipes, sewers, backflow testing, sump pumps, and remodeling work. The company's stated motto is plumbing with integrity and expertise, and its shop hours run Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 5 PM, closing early on Fridays and staying closed on weekends. The review record centers on technician Brian, named across reviews for water heater replacement estimates, and on broader themes of punctual, courteous, informative technicians who explain the work before starting. Customers describe fast scheduling for urgent leaks and knowledgeable guidance on upgrades like tankless water heaters. A couple of reviews describe visits that fell short — one where the technician arrived without the right equipment for a drain clearing, and another noting cleanup after a leak repair could have been better — suggesting the experience can vary by job. This is a fit for Madison homeowners who want a full-service residential plumber that also handles remodel rough-ins, water treatment systems, and backflow devices under one roof. It suits customers who value technicians explaining options in plain terms, and the weekday-only hours make it better for planned projects than weekend emergencies.
