Best Plumber in Lyons for SameDay Service

Thy-Plumber is a plumbing contractor based in Lyons, Illinois, serving the Chicago area with round-the-clock availability. Listed services cover 24-hour emergency plumbing, pipe repair, and drain repair. The company operates from an industrial unit on 44th Street in Lyons, working the near-west suburbs and surrounding Cook County towns. Reviews are mixed, and both sides are worth knowing. Positive reviewers describe fast response — one customer with a cold shower reports a technician arriving within the hour, presenting three repair options, and fixing the problem at a reasonable price. Christian is named for on-time, responsive problem-solving. Negative reviewers describe a water heater replacement that stretched across a full day with a leak appearing on newly installed pipework afterward, followed by unreturned calls, alongside complaints about aggressive truck driving. This is a fit for Lyons-area customers who need fast emergency response and want to compare options before committing — getting the quote and timeline in writing is wise given the mixed feedback. The company may suit straightforward repairs where speed matters most. Anyone planning a larger installation should weigh the negative reviews carefully and consider a second quote before proceeding.

Chicago Sewer Experts is a Lyons-based full-service plumbing company on 1st Avenue serving Chicago and the western and southwestern suburbs, from Oak Park and Berwyn to La Grange, Hinsdale, and Orland Park. The service menu is extensive: sewer and drain cleaning, sewer repair and replacement, hydro jetting, sump pumps and ejector pumps, water heater installation and repair, leak detection with thermal imaging, faucet installation, gas line services, and backflow preventers. The company runs 24/7 emergency dispatch. Reviewers describe fast emergency response — technicians arriving within hours for burst pipes and ceiling leaks — with Robert, Jonathan, Terry, Nick, Mike, John, Joseph, and Keith named for professional, clearly explained work. One customer described a condo building's failed ejector pump diagnosed and replaced within hours, with the technicians walking through the testing and offering maintenance tips. The pattern is competent, communicative crews who explain the work before starting and clean up after. This is a fit for western suburban homeowners who want a full-service plumber with real sewer capability — the hydro jetting, rodding, and camera inspection tools that smaller shops lack. The emergency dispatch suits anyone facing a middle-of-the-night leak or backup. For property managers overseeing condo buildings, the documented ejector pump and building-scale work shows the company handles more than single-family homes.
