1213 Plumbing is a residential and commercial plumbing contractor at 1933 70th St in Lubbock's Bayless Atkins area, run by owner Rudy Bustamante. Services include gas line installation and replacement, bringing gas appliances up to code, drain cleaning, sewer line and sink repair, water heater draining, flushing, and installation, toilet and tub drain repairs, kitchen remodel plumbing, new construction plumbing, leak detection, and water and sewer line work. The company positions itself across Lubbock and surrounding South Plains communities such as Idalou, Wolfforth, Shallowater, and Abernathy, with emergency service advertised. Reviews describe Rudy as quick to respond and punctual. One customer says he was the only plumber in town willing to come out the same day for a shower repair; another credits him with replacing gas pipes and bringing appliances up to code. A kitchen remodel customer describes him diagnosing a stubborn drain problem, trying the least invasive fix first, and returning the next day to replace a section of main drain pipe when needed. Reviewers characterize the work as professional, the explanations as clear, and the rates as fair. This is a fit for homeowners with gas-line issues needing code compliance work from a contractor reviewers describe as meticulous about it. Remodel projects where drains misbehave mid-job match the pattern of his reviewed work. Customers who prefer an owner-operated business with direct accountability, rather than a dispatched crew, are the natural audience for this profile.
