Best Contractor in Livonia for SameDay Service

Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup is a full-service plumbing, drain, and water damage restoration contractor operating from Livonia, Michigan, with 24-hour availability every day. Its services span faucet and sink repairs, toilet repair and replacement, water heater repair and replacement, and complete sewer cleaning, repair, and replacement. Beyond plumbing, the company handles water damage restoration and pipe restoration and excavation, covering both residential and commercial properties across the Detroit metro area. The review record is extensive and polarized, with technicians Chris Stanley, Joel, Austin Abdal, Derek, Jordan H., and Nathan named for professionalism, thorough explanations, and responsive emergency work, including holiday-weekend calls. Several customers describe same-day sewer diagnosis and weekend drain clearing that resolved urgent problems without delays. The same record carries a clear counterpattern: recurring complaints about charges running far above competitors, upsold jetting services that customers considered unnecessary, and disputes over scheduling and communication that left some jobs unresolved for months. This is a fit for homeowners and businesses facing time-critical problems such as sewer backups, burst pipes, or water damage who need a single contractor that can clean drains, repair plumbing, and restore water damage. Customers who prioritize speed and one-call coverage may find the trade acceptable, while those sensitive to cost should get the scope in writing before work begins and confirm whether proposed jetting or excavation is genuinely necessary.
