Best Dry wall contractor in Lexington for SameDay Service

Handy Manny's LLC is a general contractor in Lexington, Kentucky, led by owner Manny Santos and operating under a Lexington general contractor license. Its stated services include kitchen remodels, bathroom remodels, basement finishing, roofing, storm damage repair, and commercial renovation. Residential work covers a roughly 40-mile radius around Lexington, including Georgetown, Versailles, Nicholasville, and Winchester, while commercial projects extend across Kentucky. Hours run Monday through Saturday with Sunday afternoon hours, and 24/7 emergency service is advertised. Review themes emphasize communication, responsiveness, and tidy execution. Customers describe a metal roof installed on time with efficient work, a major roof leak discovered during a snowstorm evaluated on Friday and repaired by Saturday morning with photo updates, and kitchen and bathroom remodels delivered with itemized estimates. Reviewers repeatedly praise quick turnaround, fair pricing, and crews that keep homes tidy while working. One out-of-state homeowner highlighted regular updates and availability for questions during a whole-home renovation. This is a fit for Lexington-area homeowners planning kitchen or bathroom remodels, basement finishing, or roof replacement who want one accountable contractor across trades. The storm-damage and insurance-claim handling makes it relevant after hail or wind events, when documentation and adjuster coordination matter. Homeowners relocating from out of state, who need remote coordination and steady updates, match the pattern in its review record.

Distinctive Design Remodeling is a home remodeling contractor based in Lexington serving Central Kentucky, including the Louisville area. Its project menu centers on large-scale residential work: room additions, finished basements, ADUs and in-law suites, garage additions, covered decks and patios, screen rooms, and sunrooms. The company walks homeowners from initial consultation through design, permitting, and final walkthrough, positioning itself as a design-build partner rather than a task-based handyman. It keeps weekday hours, Monday through Friday 9 AM to 5 PM. Reviews frequently name Jesse and Jon on the design side and project managers such as Chad for keeping projects on track. Recurring themes include open communication throughout long projects, accurate estimates of start and completion dates, helpful navigation of permitting snags, and flexibility for mid-project modifications without friction. Recent projects reviewers describe include new decks, outdoor patios, basement finishes, and screened-in porches that blend with existing structures. A minority of critical reviews report disappointment after the contract is signed, centered on project-manager communication, so responsiveness expectations are worth pinning down before committing. This is a fit for homeowners planning substantial projects — additions, finished basements, or outdoor living spaces — who want design guidance alongside construction. It suits people who value structured communication and a single point of accountability across a months-long job. It is less of a fit for quick small repairs; the operation is built for project work, not one-off fixes.
