Best Handyman/Handywoman/Handyperson in Kansas City for SameDay Service

Handyman 2 The Rescue LLC is a handyman and property maintenance company based at 1715 W 39th St in Kansas City's Volker neighborhood — not a dedicated plumbing shop, but a generalist for smaller home jobs. Owner Victor and his team take on repair work, maintenance and odd jobs for both interior and exterior needs, with a specialty in smaller projects lasting one to eight hours and a typical turnaround of 24 to 48 hours. Services are also provided in Spanish. Hours run 9 AM to 9 PM every day of the week. Review themes describe jobs such as mounting large TVs, exterior railings built to satisfy an FHA appraisal, and labor-intensive yard cleanups, with customers praising honest communication, transparent pricing and punctuality. One reviewer, however, reported a frustrating scheduling experience: a two-and-a-half-week wait for an estimate that was then rescheduled without explanation, so arrival reliability can vary. This is a fit for Kansas City homeowners and small businesses sitting on a backlog of minor repairs — drywall patches, fixture mounting, railings, cleanup — who want one visit handled by a communicative crew rather than calling a specialist for each item. The daily 9-to-9 hours make scheduling possible on weekends and evenings.

Full Nelson Plumbing Heating & Cooling is a plumbing and HVAC contractor in Kansas City, Kansas, serving the metro with 24/7 emergency response. Its services cover leak repair, drain and sewer cleaning, fixture repair and installation, garbage disposal repair, frozen and burst pipes, water heater installation and repair, AC and furnace installation and repair, heat pumps, generators, air duct cleaning, indoor air quality, and excavation. The company handles both residential and commercial work. Reviewers describe versatile technicians: Stephen extended a gas line to a generator and caught small leaks during pressure testing, Cody, Cain, Zack, and Kyle handled a main sewer line replacement with clear communication throughout, and Travis ran high-pressure jetting with strong customer service. Matt White draws praise for explaining the work patiently. One documented counter-experience involves a small copper fitting repair that the customer felt was overpriced, so asking for the quote structure before approving small jobs is prudent. This is a fit for Kansas City homeowners who want one company for plumbing and HVAC, including seasonal system maintenance alongside drain work. The generator and excavation capabilities add coverage for storm preparedness and underground projects. The second-opinion review in the record suggests the company is also worth calling when another shop's bid feels high.
