3 Best Plumber in Jersey City for SameDay Service

Royal Heating Corporation is a heating and plumbing contractor at 10 Martin Luther King Dr in Jersey City's Greenville section, specializing in full heating and cooling system installation. Its service list spans gas furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, air handlers, ductless and zoned systems, thermostats, generators, indoor air quality equipment, and domestic water heating, plus energy-efficient water heaters, radiant floor systems, and whole-house fans. Customer accounts center on Don and Chris — described in reviews as a father-and-son team — who walk customers through equipment options before installation. Review themes stress consultative, cost-conscious service. One reviewer describes Chris replacing an oversized 140,000-BTU system with a right-sized 90,000-BTU unit after another company quoted a far larger project; another praises a Lennox SLP98 furnace install with thorough explanations. A central-AC diagnostic account notes the technician cleaned filters, verified the system, and tried to sell nothing. The record also includes condo and multi-family managed properties, with reviewers noting reliability across years of repeat calls. Pricing is repeatedly characterized as fair. This is a fit for Jersey City homeowners comparing quotes on furnace, boiler, or full HVAC replacement who want sizing and options explained rather than rushed. It suits buyers who suspect an existing system is oversized and want a contractor willing to recommend less equipment. Weekday-only hours (7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., closed weekends) make it best for planned installations and scheduled service rather than middle-of-the-night emergencies. Condo boards and small landlords managing multiple units are in its wheelhouse given the managed-property work described.

Nelson's Construction LLC is a general contractor and carpenter based on Stevens Avenue in Jersey City's Greenville neighborhood, also listed for plumbing and roofing work. Its project scope spans roof replacement, water heater installation, basement renovation, garage and attic conversions, home additions, outdoor kitchens, and window, door and stair replacement — a broad remodeling outfit rather than a plumbing specialist. Nelson personally handles jobs, and reviews describe him as responsive by phone and text with fair estimates. The company keeps 24/7 hours. Review themes lean positive: customers call Nelson a perfectionist and describe an emergency water heater replacement completed within about a day of the estimate. One negative review reports a toilet installation that loosened after a few months, with the reviewer unable to reach the company afterward — post-job support can be a weak point. Separately, a contractor directory record shows the company's listed New Jersey contractor license as expired at the last check in August 2026, so licensing should be verified directly before hiring. This fits Greenville homeowners who want one operator for mixed carpentry, plumbing and roofing projects — a basement renovation, a garage conversion, or a water heater swap alongside other repairs. Before hiring, confirm current license status with the state licensing board, get the scope and estimate in writing, and clarify callback coverage once work is done.

Sewer Works is a Jersey City plumbing and sewer contractor based at 149 Fulton Ave in the Greenville area, focused on sewer and drain work for homes and businesses. Its listed offerings include sewer line jetting, camera inspections, sewer and drain cleaning, and emergency repair. The company operates weekday hours, Monday through Thursday from 9 AM to 6 PM with a Friday half day, and positions itself around prompt, affordable service for North Jersey customers. Reviews consistently name Lazer as the technician who handles the work, describing him as honest, straightforward, and unwilling to oversell. Customers describe fast response times, including a Sunday evening arrival within an hour during a snowstorm to clear a blocked sewer trap that had spilled sewage material into a home. Camera inspections, jetting, and trap and pipe repairs draw praise for thoroughness, with reviewers noting he checks the line from multiple entry points before leaving. Follow-up communication after the job is another recurring theme. This is a fit for Jersey City and Hudson County homeowners dealing with sewer backups, foul odors, or slow-draining main lines who want a specialist rather than a generalist. The camera-first diagnostic approach suits buyers and owners who want to see the blockage before committing to repair or replacement. For landlords managing tenant-occupied properties, the responsiveness and follow-up check-ins noted in reviews address the practical need to resolve a tenant's plumbing outage quickly.
