Customers describe easy scheduling, same-day accommodation for a Friday leak, next-day appointments with free estimates, and thorough explanations with photos. The tone is consistently trustworthy and professional. Wedgeworth fits Houston homeowners wanting a full-service shop for everything from faucets to sewer lines and tankless heaters, especially those who value no-pressure diagnostics. The commercial arm and bathroom remodel offering make it relevant for businesses and owners planning renovations. Easy scheduling and same-day flexibility suit busy households that need problems handled promptly.

5 Star Plumbing Houston is a plumbing company based on North Loop West in Houston's Lazybrook/Timbergrove area, handling residential and commercial work. Its service profile covers plumbing repairs, installations, and commercial plumbing, with 24-hour emergency availability among its stated offerings. The company is also categorized as a contractor and building consultant, suggesting a construction-aware approach to plumbing jobs. Directory profiles describe a professional, reliable, and affordable operation with experienced plumbers and rapid emergency response. The weekday 8-to-5 hours with weekend closure point to a planned-schedule shop rather than a round-the-clock dispatcher, so emergency claims likely refer to response priority during business days. Public review detail is thin, so specifics on specialties or technician patterns are sparse. 5 Star Plumbing Houston fits Lazybrook, Timbergrove, and nearby central Houston homes and businesses wanting a weekday contractor for repairs and installations. The contractor and building-consultant categories may suit owners dealing with construction-adjacent plumbing, such as remodel or build-out work. Customers should confirm emergency coverage details directly, given the weekday-only listed hours.

Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup is the Houston branch of the national Roto-Rooter network, operating from Sam Houston Parkway with round-the-clock availability. Drain cleaning is the signature service — the brand's namesake — alongside sewer line work, burst and leaking pipe repair, sump pumps, toilet and faucet repair and replacement, garbage disposals, water heaters, and bathtubs and showers. The branch also handles water damage restoration and mold remediation, serving both residential and commercial customers across Harris County. Review themes split clearly. Positive reviewers describe middle-of-the-night water emergencies handled compassionately — one customer called at 3 AM and praises technician Mark's knowledge and kindness — and drain techs like Joaquin who unclog lines then arrange camera inspections to diagnose the root cause. Critical reviewers focus on pricing: one describes a costly diagnostic visit, another urges customers to get a second opinion after being steered toward a five-figure sewer replacement that a different contractor resolved with heavier equipment. This is a fit for Houston customers who need a plumber at any hour and value the dispatch infrastructure of a national brand — the 24/7 coverage is the real differentiator. Drain and sewer emergencies are the natural use case. Given the pricing complaints, confirming the full price before authorizing work, and getting a second quote on any five-figure recommendation, is the prudent approach.
