Best Heating contractor in Hoboken for SameDay Service

Dependable Plumbing & Heating Inc. is a Hoboken plumbing and heating contractor at 323 Washington St handling water heater installation and replacement, drainage work, heating systems, and general repairs. Owner Steve appears personally in customer accounts: one describes an under-an-hour arrival, after which Steve and technician Rino replaced an apartment water heater in under two hours — the customer's third attempt after two other plumbers walked away. Another recounts Steve guiding a caller through relighting a boiler pilot by phone at 4:45 a.m. at no charge. Review themes cluster around fast daytime response and blunt, practical advice: one account describes technician Jay resolving leftover bathroom-remodel plumbing defects in under fifteen minutes; another praises negotiating price directly with the owner. The company also shows a pattern of not charging for visits that produce no work: a shower repair was declined because the customer's own parts were wrong, with no callout fee, though the reviewer notes the caution cost weeks without a working shower. The owner publicly disputes reviews he considers planted by competitors, which colors the online record. This is a fit for Hoboken residents who want an owner-involved shop for water heater swaps, heating fixes, and everyday plumbing repairs during weekday hours — the shop is closed Saturdays and Sundays. It suits people who prefer dealing directly with the person quoting and doing the work rather than a dispatch desk. Customers needing same-day water heater replacement report quick turnarounds; anyone needing weekend or late-night coverage would need a different option.
