Academy Air Heating, Cooling, Plumbing and Electric
Academy Air Heating, Cooling, Plumbing and Electric is a full-service home services contractor headquartered in Hazelwood, Missouri, covering heating, cooling, plumbing, electrical, and drains and sewer work for St. Louis-area homes. Offerings include heating and cooling repair and installation, drain cleaning, electrical installations, scheduled maintenance appointments, and a standing home care plan for ongoing maintenance and priority service. The company keeps 24-hour daily hours and serves the St. Louis metro including St. Charles, Chesterfield, and Ballwin. Reviews name technicians Joe, Casey Mattea, Isaiah Smith, Connor, Dajuan, Jimmy, and Elijah across both trades. Positive accounts describe on-time arrivals, thorough explanations of findings, and issues like wrong-size filters caught during routine visits. The record also carries criticism: some customers describe poor follow-through on parts and scheduling, and disputes over diagnostic recommendations and costs. Review volume is very high, reflecting a large operation. This is a fit for St. Louis homeowners who want one contractor across heating, cooling, plumbing, and electrical, including emergency calls at any hour and planned maintenance through the care plan. Given the mixed review record, customers may want to confirm diagnostic recommendations and costs before authorizing work.
