16 Best Air conditioning contractor in Fort Wayne for SameDay Service

Sheets Heating, Cooling and Plumbing is a Fort Wayne contractor that pairs plumbing with heating and air-conditioning service under one roof. Its plumbing side covers residential and commercial work, while the HVAC side handles furnace repair and installation, air-conditioner checkups, and preventive maintenance aimed at extending equipment life. Reviewers consistently name technicians such as Tyler, Jeremy, and Austin, describing them as knowledgeable and communicative, and note that office staff answer quickly and schedule same-day visits. Several customers report the company chose repair over replacement, including one who said Sheets fixed an AC problem another contractor had framed as a multi-thousand-dollar compressor failure. Long-term customers also describe returning for maintenance plans after new-equipment installs. The company advertises round-the-clock availability, which suits homeowners facing burst pipes, dead furnaces, or failed AC during extreme weather. It fits households looking for a single vendor for both trades, plumbing repairs alongside seasonal HVAC tune-ups, rather than coordinating separate contractors.

MJM Mechanical is a Fort Wayne HVAC and plumbing contractor operating from its Speedway Drive office. The HVAC side covers air-conditioner installation and repair, including blower-motor replacement and diagnosing long-standing performance problems, furnace repair and tune-ups, and geothermal system service. The plumbing side handles repairs such as tracing and fixing sewage odors, and customers describe technicians who explain each diagnostic step as they work. Review themes emphasize honest scoping: one reviewer praised the technician for fixing a repairable blower motor rather than pushing a full replacement, and another noted thorough checks of electrical boxes and breaker panels during service visits. Named staff include lead technician Brandon, assistant Bill, and office staff Josie and Elena. Customers report arrival-time calls before the truck shows up and consistent use of shoe covers indoors. MJM suits Fort Wayne homeowners wanting one company for both heating and cooling and plumbing, especially those who value detailed explanations and second opinions before big purchases, which the company advertises free of charge. Commercial work appears in the mix as well, with reviews covering rooftop and commercial-unit replacement. Weekday-only hours mean after-hours emergencies would need another provider, though the company advertises same-day scheduling during business hours.

PG Heating & Cooling is a Fort Wayne heating, cooling, and plumbing company on Cass Street in the Bloomingdale area, serving residential customers around the clock. Its plumbing side covers repairs like drain work and water heater service alongside its HVAC core: furnace installation and repair, central air conditioning repair, geothermal system diagnosis and repair, and air duct and vent cleaning. The company also offers membership-style maintenance plans that bundle annual furnace, HVAC, and water heater checkups. Review themes center on fast response and clear explanations. Reviewers name technicians like Leo, Tucker, Alex, David, and Ben for arriving quickly — including on a Sunday air-conditioning failure — diagnosing problems carefully, and walking customers through options before work starts. Installers draw praise for fast, clean furnace changeouts, and several reviewers note honest assessments, such as identifying a geothermal issue as a simple sensor fault rather than a major failure. One kitchen-sink job drew a serious complaint: a quoted cleanout did not stop the backup, and the customer felt follow-up went quiet — so confirm scope before authorizing drain work. This is a fit for homeowners who want one company handling both HVAC and plumbing under one maintenance plan, with fast scheduling for urgent breakdowns.

The company operates 24 hours and runs offices in Fort Wayne, Decatur, Angola, and Lima, Ohio. Reviews name technicians including Jacob, Skip, Cory, Dave, and Mitchel Minnick, with a running theme of persistent troubleshooting — one furnace took multiple visits before a faulty control board was found and replaced under labor warranty. Other customers describe same-day scheduling for breakdowns and a furnace install completed two days after consultation. This is a fit for homeowners who want one contractor covering heating, cooling, plumbing, and electrical rather than juggling four vendors.
