Best HVAC contractor in Ferndale for SameDay Service

Cregger Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical is a Ferndale plumbing and HVAC contractor at 2335 Goodrich Street serving Detroit and Wayne, Macomb, and Oakland counties. The plumbing side covers emergency repairs, water heaters, leaks, garbage disposals, toilets, showers and bathtubs, sinks, faucets, dishwashers, and washing machines, plus sewer line replacement, drain cleaning, backflow prevention, boiler repair, radiant heat, and heat pump maintenance. Led by master plumber Frank Cregger, the company also handles heating, cooling, and electrical work including panel upgrades and EV charger installation. It operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Technicians named in reviews include Joshua, Deson, Paul Pauly, and Danny. Review themes highlight diagnostic skill: Joshua traced storm-driven basement water with a sketched diagram before presenting repair options, and a clogged sewer line was cleared with a power auger plus camera verification. Reviewers praise reasonable pricing, detailed quotes, and clean, inspection-ready work. The record carries one sharp complaint alleging unprofessional technician conduct on a blocked sanitary line, which the owner defended — a reminder to judge fit through direct conversation. This is a fit for Ferndale and metro Detroit homeowners wanting a single contractor for plumbing plus HVAC and electrical work. The 24-hour operation suits customers with overnight emergencies, and the boiler and radiant heat specialty serves older homes with non-forced-air heating.
