Best Hardware store in East Orange for SameDay Service

Crosstown Plumbing Supply is a plumbing supply store at 196 S Grove St in East Orange, New Jersey — a trade counter, not a service plumber. It describes itself as a large plumbing supplier in northern New Jersey, stocking materials and tools for residential and commercial plumbing across hundreds of brands, plus heating and cooling equipment and kitchen and bathroom fixtures. Its product lines include boilers, water heaters, bathroom and kitchen fixtures, and an affordable kitchen cabinet line with free measurement service. Named brands include American Standard, Moen, Delta, Elkay, Gerber, Weil-McLain, Utica, and Crown boilers, sold at near-wholesale pricing. Its review record centers on sourcing hard-to-find parts and knowledgeable counter staff. One customer describes a kitchen sink delivered to the house the next day after a big-box purchase went wrong, with staff steering them to a higher-quality brand at a similar price. A DIY plumber reports finding parts the big-box stores did not carry, and a working plumber praises competitive pricing. Friction points mentioned include counter wait times during busy periods and the fact that some items require a plumber's license to purchase. Hours run weekday early-morning to late afternoon with Saturday mornings. This is a fit for licensed plumbers and contractors sourcing parts quickly, and for DIY homeowners doing bathroom or kitchen projects who want trade-grade fixtures. It is not the right call for someone needing a repair visit; it is a supply house. Those buying project quantities benefit most, given the wholesale-leaning pricing and cabinet line.
