Best Plumber in Cleveland for SameDay Service

North Ohio Sewer & Drain LLC is a plumbing and sewer contractor based in Cleveland's West Boulevard neighborhood, with its office on Walford Avenue. Its core work is drain cleaning and sewer line service, along with plumbing pipe installation and replacement, excavation, and general plumbing repairs. The service list also covers toilet installation, energy-efficient water heater installation, bathroom plumbing, and remodel support such as vanity removal and capping pipes. It serves the Cleveland–Akron area, including Lakewood and Strongsville in Cuyahoga County. The company's review record names technicians Justin and Mike for prompt, knowledgeable work. Customers describe fast appointment booking, on-time arrival, and clear walk-throughs of repair options without pressure. One review credits the company with fixing a mess left by another plumber and recommending a system update; another describes a successful drain clear in a 1933 home where the drain's turn had defeated a DIY snake. Water heater replacement jobs get specific praise for attention to detail, and toilet installations are noted as straightforward and well done. This is a fit for homeowners facing stubborn drain or sewer blockages, slow-draining tubs in older homes, or failed water heaters that need replacement. The daily 7 AM–9 PM schedule covers the full week, and the company's 24-hour emergency positioning suits urgent clogs and backups. It may also suit remodel projects where pipes need capping or fixtures removed before the next trade arrives. A shortlist option where communication matters: reviewers consistently note being told what will happen before it happens.

A-1 Affordable Plumbing is a plumbing company on the west side of Cleveland at 10321 Jasper Avenue, covering pipe repair and installation, drain cleaning and repair, water heater services, bathtub installation, and backflow preventer installation. The company also handles emergency plumbing work. Much of its visible review history comes through home warranty contracts, where it is dispatched to repair leaks, water heaters, and toilets in customer homes. The review record is mixed and worth reading honestly. Some customers praise technician Billy for prompt, efficient water heater repairs with clear explanations, and describe courteous office staff and timely scheduling. Others — frequently home warranty jobs — report missed appointments, repairs that did not hold, and frustrating phone interactions with office staff, including one reviewer whose toilet leak persisted after a visit and another whose water heater repair required repeated call-backs. This could fit homeowners assigned A-1 through a home warranty plan, where the company is the dispatcher's choice rather than the customer's — staying on top of the ticket and confirming appointments in writing is sensible given the mixed scheduling record. For customers choosing directly, the water heater and pipe repair offerings overlap with shops that have stronger review consistency, so comparing a second quote costs nothing. The emergency service listing keeps it in the running for urgent repairs, but the pattern of complaints is worth weighing before hiring.
